Leng San Kwek

Y. Bhg. Datuk Kwek Leng San serves as Chairman of the Board of Hong Leong Industries Bhd since February 9, 2012. He was appointed to the Board of HLI on September 1, 1990. He graduated from University of London with a Bachelor of Science (Engineering) degree. He also holds a Master of Science (Finance) degree from City University London. He has business experience in various business sectors, including financial services and manufacturing. He is the Executive Chairman of Malaysian Pacific Industries Berhad (“MPI”), Managing Director of Narra, Chairman of Southern Steel Berhad (“SSB”) and a Director of HLB, companies listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities. He is also a Director of HLCM, Hume Industries (Malaysia) Berhad, Hong Leong Marketing Co Berhad and HLF, all public companies.

Seong Keat Soon

Mr. Soon Seong Keat serves as Chief Financial Officer of Hong Leong Industries Bhd since May 2, 2013. He is a Chartered Accountant at Malaysian Institute of Accountants and Member of Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He started his professional career with KPMG from 1981 to 1988 during which he acquired his professional qualification. Mr. Soon joined the Hong Leong Group of Companies in 1988. He was the Group Financial Controller of both Hong Leong Industries Berhad and Hume Industries (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd until October 31, 2005. In December 2005, Mr. Soon joined Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad (HSCB) as Chief Financial Officer and has since held various executive Board positions in HSCB and related companies. He was the Group Finance Director of HSCB until his resignation on March 31, 2011.

Jonathan Wilson

Mr. Jonathan Forrest Wilson serves as Group Managing Director and Executive Director of Hong Leong Industries Berhad since January 27, 2014. He earned bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Catholic University, Washington and Master in Business Administration from Rutgers University. He has worked in the region for over 20 years, most recently as Chief Operating officer of Gold Coin Group. Before joining Gold Coin Group, Mr. Jonathan Wilson worked at Imerys Asia-Pacific as Vice President and Managing Director for Asia and he also worked with Great Lakes Chemical in various regional roles located in Asia-Pacific. Zaha Rina Binti Zahari

Dr. Zaha Rina Binti Zahari serves as Independent Non-Executive Director of Hong Leong Industries Bhd. She was appointed on February 9, 2012. She received her Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from Leeds United Kingdom (UK) and Master Business Administration from Hull UK. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration, focusing on capital markets research and specializing in derivatives, Hull UK International Centre for Leadership in Finance (ICLIF) Harvard Business School and Columbia Business School in July 2005. Dr. Zaha Rina was Consultant to Financial Technologies Middle East based in Bahrain for the set up of Bahrain Financial Exchange (BFX) launched in January 2009. Prior to this, Dr. Zaha Rina was with Royal Bank of Scotland Group in Singapore from August 2007 to May 2008. Dr. Zaha Rina has more than 20 years experience in the financial, commodities and securities industry and the development of the Malaysian Capital Market which includes managing a futures broking company and was Chief Executive Officer of RHB Securities Sdn Bhd from 2004 to 2006. She has previous Board appointments at the Commodity and Monetary Exchange of Malaysia (COMMEX) from 1993 to 1996, then as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Kuala Lumpur and Financial Futures Exchange (KLOFFE) in 2001. Dr. Zaha Rina was instrumental in the merger of COMMEX and KLOFFE which ultimately led to the creation of Malaysian Derivatives Exchange (MDEX) and the subsequent appointment as COO of MDEX in June 2001. Dr. Zaha Rina was then appointed Head of Exchanges, managing the operations of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (Bursa Securities), MESDAQ, MDEX and Labuan International Financial Exchanges (LFX) in September 2003 prior to Bursa Securities’ demutualization. She is also a regular speaker at many international conferences and forums.

Naquiah Bt Almarhum Tuanku Ja'afar

YAM Tunku Dara Tunku Tan Sri Naquiah Bt Almarhum Tuanku Ja'afar has been Independent Non-Executive Director of Hong Leong Industries Bhd since June 19, 1971.
