Name Description

Qi Ji

Mr. Qi Ji is Executive Chairman of the Board, Founder of China Lodging Group, Limited. He was Chief Executive Officer of China Lodging Group, Limited. He also served as our chief executive officer from 2007 to August 2009 and returned to this role in January 2012. Mr. Ji has served on the board as a director for UBOX since June 2012. He co-founded Home Inns & Hotels Management Inc., or Home Inns, and served as its chief executive officer from January 2001 to January 2005. He also co-founded Ctrip.com International, Ltd., or Ctrip, one of the largest online travel services providers in China, in 1999, acted as its chief executive officer and president until December 2001, and currently serves on Ctrip’s board as an independent director. Prior to founding Ctrip, Mr. Ji was the chief executive officer of Shanghai Sunflower High-Tech Group, which he founded in 1997. He headed the East China Division of Beijing Zhonghua Yinghua Intelligence System Co., Ltd. from 1995 to 1997. Mr. Ji received both his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Min Zhang

Ms. Min Zhang is President, Chief Executive Officer of the Company. She was Chief Financial Officer of China Lodging Group Ltd. Ms. Zhang has been Chief Financial Officer since March 2008 and Chief Strategy Officer since November 2013. In her new role, Ms. Zhang will be responsible for leading the overall operations, in addition to her responsibility as the CFO. Ms. Zhang has more than 15 years of experience in finance and consulting with multinational companies. Prior to joining the Company in 2007, she was the Finance Director of Eli Lilly (Asia) Inc., Thailand Branch and the Chief Financial Officer of ASIMCO Casting (Beijing) Company, Ltd. She also worked previously with McKinsey & Company, Inc. as a consultant. Ms. Zhang obtained her Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School and received both Master and Bachelor degree from the University of International Business and Economics.

Jiong Wu

Mr. Jiong Wu is Co-Founder, Independent Director of China Lodging Group Ltd since January 2007. He is a co-founder of the company. He has served as our director since January 2007. He is the founder and Managing Partner of F&H Fund Management Pte. Ltd. He served as the Venture Partner of Northern Light Venture Capital from 2008 to 2010 and was an angel investor and the Chief Technology Officer of Alibaba Group from 2000 to 2007. Prior to joining Alibaba Group, he worked as an engineer or manager in several companies in the Silicon Valley, including Oracle and Yahoo! Inc. Mr. Wu received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree from the University of Michigan.

Tongtong Zhao

Ms. Tongtong Zhao is Co-Founder, Independent Director of China Lodging Group Ltd since February 2007. She also serves as a member of the board of directors of China Education & Technology Group Limited. She was the General Manager of Shanghai Asia-Tang Health Technology Development Co., Ltd. from 2004 to 2006, the General Manager of Shanghai Hong Ying Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. from 1999 to 2001, and the Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Xie Cheng Science and Technology Co., Ltd. from 1997 to 1998. Ms. Zhao received her Master of Science degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and obtained her Master of Business Administration degree from McGill University.

Teo Nee Chuan

Mr. Teo Nee Chuan is Chief Financial Officer of the company. He joined the Company in November 2015 as Deputy Chief Financial Officer. He has more than 20 years of experience in financial areas in multinational corporations. Prior to joining China Lodging Group, he was Chief Financial Officer of Rnomac International Group, the largest Volvo construction equipment distributor in China. He also served as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Operation in DDB Greater China Group and Financial Controller in Focus Media Group. Prior to that, Mr. Teo worked at Ernst & Young as Associate Director of Transaction Advisory Services in Kuala Lumpur, Toronto and Shanghai. Mr. Teo received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Financial Analysis from Warwick University, the United Kingdom. He is a Chartered Certified Accountant in the United Kingdom and a Certified Public Accountant in the United States and Hong Kong.

Yunhang Xie

Mr. Yunhang Xie is Chief Operating Officer, Chief Strategy Officer of China Lodging Group Ltd. He has more than 16 years of working experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining us, Mr. Xie held several leadership roles in Digital China Networks Co., Ltd. or DCN, a leading network equipment and solutions provider, since 2000. He acted as the General Manager of DCN from 2005 to 2012, formulating corporate development strategy and managing day-to-day operations. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Xie served as Deputy General Manager at the network division of Lenovo Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. Mr. Xie received a Master of Business Administration degree from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Sophia Wu

Ms. Sophia Wu is Executive Vice President - Finance of China Lodging Group, Limited Ms. Wu has more than 14 years experience in corporate finance, SEC reporting, audit and M&A with multinational companies. Her prior experience included M&A transaction service and audit at Deloitte & Touche, LLP New York Office, as well as Reporting and Analysis team at Goldman Sachs global headquarter in New York. Ms. Wu held a Master degree in accounting from State University of New York at Albany, and received her Bachelor degree in International Business Administration from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Ms. Wu is a Certified Public Accountant in the United States.

Min Fan

Mr. Min Fan is Director of China Lodging Group Ltd., since March 2010. He is one of the co-founders of Ctrip and has served as the vice chairman of its board of directors since March 2013, as a member of its board of director since October 2006 and as its president since February 2009. Previously, Mr. Fan served as Ctrip’s chief executive officer from January 2006 to February 2013, as its chief operating officer from November 2004 to January 2006 and as its executive vice president from 2000 to November 2004. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Fan was the chief executive officer of Shanghai Travel Service Company, a leading domestic travel agency in China. From 1990 to 1997, he served as the deputy general manager and in a number of other senior positions at Shanghai New Asia Hotel Management Company, which was one of the leading hotel management companies in China. In addition to his positions at Ctrip, Mr. Fan currently serves on the boards and compensation committees of PerfectEnergy International, Ltd., ChinaEdu Corporation and 99 Joyu Tourism Operating Group. Mr. Fan received his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He also studied at the Lausanne Hotel Management School of Switzerland in 1995.

Yongjian Sun

Mr. Yongjian Sun is Director of the company. Mr. Sun is the Executive Director and President of BM Holding Group, a Shanghai-based conglomerate company specialized in international trade, development of commercial real estate, logistics management, and hotel operations and property management. Previously, Mr. Sun served as senior management role in Shanghai Baosteel Group Corporation and its subsidiary. Mr. Sun graduated from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.

Shangzhi Zhang

Mr. Shangzhi Zhang is Director of the Company. He has more than 30 years of experience in hotel industry and foreign trade. Mr. Zhang has been President of Tianjin Amis Hotel Management Company since 2009. He acted as General Delegate of Accor Hotel Group in China and President of Ibis in China from 1999 to 2008. He served as Deputy General Manager at China Export Commodity Base Development Corporation from 1993 to 1998. Prior to that, Mr. Zhang held senior positions at Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation. He was Third Secretary of Commercial Bureau of Chinese Embassy in Zaire from 1981 to 1985. Mr. Zhang graduated from Beijing Institute of Foreign Trade. He studied at General Department of Interpretation of European Communities in Brussels and French National School of Administration. In 2014, Mr. Zhang received medal award of "Chevalier de Legion d'honneur" from French government.

Yan Huang

Mr. Yan Huang is Independent Director of China Lodging Group Ltd., since June 2007. He has been a General Partner of CDH Ventures since 2006 and was an Associated Director of Intel Capital from 2004 to 2005. Mr. Huang received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Zhejiang University.
