Name Description

E. Lawrence Sauder

 Mr. E. Lawrence Sauder is Chairman of the Board of Hardwoods Distribution Inc. Mr. Sauder has since 2008 been the Non-Executive Chairman of, and from 2004 to 2008 was the Non-Executive Vice-Chairman of, International Forest Products Limited, a forest products company. Mr. Sauder also served as president of the Sauder Group, a manufacturer and distributor of building products, from 1988 to 2005.

Lance Blanco

 Mr. Lance R. Blanco is President, Chief Executive Officer of Hardwoods Distribution Inc., since July 5, 2010. Mr. Blanco joined the Company in July 2010 following the retirement of previous President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Blanco held senior positions in sales, distribution, marketing, manufacturing and supply chain optimization with Weyerhaeuser Company and MacMillan Bloedel Limited including, Vice President of Enterprise Supply Chain Management, of Business Development, and of the Cedar Group from 1983 to 2009. Mr. Blanco holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University.

Robert Brown

 Mr. Robert J. Brown is Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Secretary of Hardwoods Distribution Inc. Mr. Brown joined the Company in August 2004 as Vice President Finance and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in November 2004. Mr. Brown was a manager in the Canadian Operations of Weyerhaeuser Company and MacMillan Bloedel Limited’s building products distribution businesses from 1998 to 2004. From 1997 to 1998, Mr. Brown was the Director of Acquisitions for Wajax Limited, and prior to that worked at Deloitte & Touche in Vancouver, British Columbia, and at a predecessor firm to PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the United Kingdom. Mr. Brown is a chartered accountant, holds a chartered financial analyst designation, and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.

Daniel Besen

 Mr. Daniel A. Besen is Vice President, California Group of Hardwoods Distribution Inc. Mr. Besen has been with the Company since 1984, when he joined Northern California operations as a sales trainee. Mr. Besen has been Group Manager, Southern California since 1995. Between 1990 and 1994, he was the Group Manager, Pacific Northwest. Mr. Besen was the Branch Manager in San Diego from 1988 to 1990. Mr. Besen received a Bachelor of Arts degree (Mathematics) from the State University of New York, New York.

Garry Warner

 Mr. Garry W. Warner is Vice President, Canada of Hardwoods Distribution Inc. Mr. Warner has been with the Company since 1978, when he joined branch in Edmonton as a sales trainee. Mr. Warner has been Group Manager, British Columbia located in Langley since 2001. Between 1994 and 2001, Mr. Warner was Group Manager, Alberta, during which time the company opened branches in Edmonton, Lethbridge and Red Deer as well as in Regina and Saskatoon. From 1989 to 1994, Mr. Warner was the Branch Manager, Winnipeg. Between 1978 and 1988, Mr. Warner held progressively senior sales positions within Calgary and then Edmonton branches, prior to a promotion to sales manager in Winnipeg in 1988.

Peter Bull

 Mr. Peter M. Bull has been appointed as Director of Hardwoods Distribution Inc., effective April 2, 2013. Mr. Bull is the President of Blenheim Realty Ltd., a commercial real estate company, and is an owner in numerous companies which are primarily engaged in the real estate and building materials industries.

Terry Holland

 Mr. Terry M. Holland is an Independent Director of Hardwoods Distribution Inc. Mr. Holland served from 1991 to 2004 as President and Chief Executive Officer of Trimin Capital Corp., a management and investments company, where he was required to have an understanding of and assess compensation policies and practices. He is also the President, Krystal Financial Corp. (a consulting and investments company).

R. Keith Purchase

 Mr. R. Keith Purchase is an Independent Director of Hardwoods Distribution Inc., since May 18, 2008. Mr. Purchase has held several senior executive positions within the forest industry, including Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for MacMillan Bloedel Limited until 1999, President and Chief Executive Officer of TimberWest Forest Corp. and Managing Director of Tasman Pulp and Paper in New Zealand. These positions required Mr. Purchase to have an understanding of, and assess, compensation policies and practices. The positions also required Mr. Purchase to supervise others who managed compensation policies and practices.

William Sauder

 Mr. William L. Sauder is Independent Director of Hardwoods Distribution Inc. Mr. Sauder is a Senior Vice-President with the Sauder Group, a group of companies operating in the wood products industry. Mr. Sauder has experience in progressively senior managerial roles with respect to wood products manufacturing and distribution in North America.

Graham Wilson

 Mr. Graham M. Wilson is an Independent Director of Hardwoods Distribution Inc., since January 30, 2004. Mr. Wilson is President of Grawil Consultants Inc., a consulting and investments company. As well, he is a director of British Columbia Ferry Services Inc., Itron, Inc., and Naikun Wind Energy Group Inc. Prior to March 2002, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and President and Chief Executive Officer, Services Division of Westcoast Energy Inc.
