Sudhir Agrawal	Dr. Sudhir Agrawal is Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of Idera Pharmaceuticals Inc. He is a director since 1993, has been the chairman of the board of directors since September 2010, President since September 2008 and Chief Executive Officer since August 2004. He served as Chief Scientific Officer from January 1993 until September 2010, as President from February 2000 to October 2005 and as Acting Chief Executive Officer from February 2000 until September 2001. Dr. Agrawal joined the Company in 1990 and served in various capacities before his appointment as Chief Scientific Officer, including Vice President of Discovery and Senior Vice President of Discovery. Prior to joining the Company, Dr. Agrawal served as a Foundation Scholar at the Worcester Foundation for Experimental Biology and carried out his post-doctoral research at the Medical Research Council’s Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge, England from 1985 to 1986.
Youssef El Zein	Mr. Youssef El Zein is an Independent Vice Chairman of the Board of Idera Pharmaceuticals Inc. Robert Arbeit	Dr. Robert D. Arbeit is Vice President - Clinical Development of Idera Pharmaceuticals Inc. Prior to joining the Company, Dr. Arbeit was Vice President, Clinical Development, from July 2007 to July 2009, and Executive Director, Clinical Development, from February 2003 until July 2007, at Paratek Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a pharmaceutical company. Prior to that, from January 2001 to January 2003, he served at Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a pharmaceutical company, as Executive Medical Director. From 1979 to 2000, Dr. Arbeit held positions with increasing levels of responsibility at the VA Medical Center in Boston, where his last position was Associate Chief of Staff for Research. Timothy Sullivan	Dr. Timothy M. Sullivan is Vice President - Development Programs and Alliance Management of Idera Pharmaceuticals Inc., since April 2010. He was Vice President, Development Programs from August 2004 until April 2010. He joined the company in 2002 as Senior Director, Preclinical Drug Development. William Reardon	Mr. William S. Reardon is Lead Independent Director of Idera Pharmaceuticals Inc., since September 2010. He is a director since 2002. He was an audit partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he led the Life Science Industry Practice for New England and the Eastern United States from 1986 until his retirement from the firm in July 2002. Eve Slater	Dr. Eve E. Slater is an Independent Director of Idera Pharmaceuticals, Inc., since 2010. she is Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, where she has taught in positions since 1983. Dr. Slater was Senior Vice President, Worldwide Policy at Pfizer, Inc. from May 2007 until June 2009. Dr. Slater was the Assistant Secretary for Health, United States Department of Health and Human Services from 2002 until 2003, and was the Acting Assistant Secretary for Health from 2001 until her confirmation by the United States Senate in 2002.
