Biographies

Name Description

Wolfgang Mayrhuber

 Mr. Wolfgang Mayrhuber has served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Infineon Technologies AG since February 17, 2011. Prior to this, he has served as Chief Executive Officer at Deutsche Lufthansa AG from June 2003 until the end of 2010. He is also Member of the Company’s Strategy and Technology Committee and Investment, Finance and Audit Committee, as well as Chairman of the Nomination Committee, Executive Committee, and Mediation Committee. Mr. Mayrhuber has also been Member of the Supervisory Board of BMW AG, Lufthansa Technik AG and Austrian Airlines AG, among others.

Reinhard Ploss

 Dr. Reinhard Ploss has been Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of Infineon Technologies AG since October 1, 2012. Prior to that, he served as Member of the Management Board, Executive Vice President and Head of Operations of the Company from June 1, 2007. Since August 4, 2010 he has been Labor Director. He has been responsible for Operations comprising central manufacturing Frontend and Backend, Test, Quality Management as well as Logistics. He joined Siemens/Infineon in 1986 as a process engineer for ion implantation in wafer manufacture at Munich, focusing on process development, yield and quality improvement. After about one year Dr. Ploss assumed responsibility for ion implantation process technology and later also for epitaxy. In 1992 he moved to Villach, where he was initially responsible for the transfer of the epitaxy process and later for the coordination of the product transfer. In 1996 Dr. Ploss went back to Munich and took charge of the Power Semiconductor Business Unit with a focus on development and manufacturing. Additionally, he was appointed as President of eupec GmbH Co. KG in 1999. Since 2000 he headed the Automotive & Industrial Business Group, which then encompassed power semiconductors, electric drives, automotive applications and the Microcontroller Business Unit. In 2005 Dr. Ploss assumed responsibility for manufacture, development and operational management in the Automotive, Industrial and Multimarket Business Group. In addition, Dr. Ploss occupies the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Infineon Technologies Austria AG in Villach, Austria. Furthermore, he acts as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Infineon Technologies (Kulim) Sdn. Bhd. in Kulim, Malaysia.

Gerd Schmidt

 Mr. Gerd Schmidt has been Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Employee Representative at Infineon Technologies AG since 2008. In addition, he acts as Member of the Executive Committee, the Mediation Committee as well as the Investment, Finance and Audit Committee of the Company. Mr. Schmidt was Chairman of the Infineon Works Council until June 8, 2010 and is Chairman of the Works Council Infineon Regensburg.

Dominik Asam

 Mr. Dominik Asam has served as Member of the Management Board, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Infineon Technologies AG since January 1, 2011. He has gained financial experience at Goldman Sachs. He was subsequently responsible for Strategy and Investor Relations at Infineon, before taking on top management roles with plenty of entrepreneurial freedom at Siemens, including Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position of Siemens Financial Services. He has also been in charge of Group Controlling at RWE. Mr. Asam has two degrees in engineering as well as a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA). Arunjai Mittal

 Mr. Arunjai Mittal has been Member of the Management Board and Executive Vice President of Infineon Technologies AG since January 1, 2012. He is responsible for Regions, Sales, Marketing, Strategy Development and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) at the Company. He studied Electrical Engineering at Shivaji University, Kohlapur, India. Additionally, he attended management programs on mergers and acquisitions at the INSEAD in Singapore and The General Management Program at Harvard Business School in Cambridge, the United States. From 1992 to 1994, he served as Regional Marketing Engineer at Siemens Ltd. in Mumbai and worked in the Communications and Components Group of Siemens. From 1994 to 2001, Mr. Mittal worked at Siemens and later Infineon Technologies APAC Ltd in Singapore. There he move from being responsible for Regional Marketing activities, setting up the headquarter functions in APAC region, to being Vice President for Power Semiconductors activities in the APAC region. From 2001 to 2008, among other posts he headed the Power Management & Supply business unit, partly from Munich, Germany, partly from Villach, Austria. From October 2008 to December 2011 he was responsible for the Division Industrial & Multimarket (IMM) in Munich. Mr. Mittal has been Member of the Supervisory Board of Infineon Technologies Austria AG and as Member of the Board of Directors at Infineon Technologies India, Pvt., Ltd., among others.

Wigand Cramer

 Mr. Wigand Cramer has been Member of the Supervisory Board and Employee Representative at Infineon Technologies AG since April 20, 2006. Moreover, he serves as Member of the Company’s Investment, Finance and Audit Committee. Mr. Cramer is Labor Union Secretary at IG Metall, Berlin.

Alfred Eibl
