Gulett, Michael Michael Gulett is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Ikanos Communications Inc. Gulett has served on the Ikanos Board of Directors since August 2003. For the past 14 years, Mr. Gulett has been the president, CEO or COO of a number of publicly traded and privately held companies. From March 2006 to October 2007, Mr. Gulett was Chief Executive Officer of TZero Technologies, a semiconductor company. From December 2004 to August 2005, Mr. Gulett served as the interim Chief Executive Officer of Siliquent Technologies, Inc., a semiconductor company, which was acquired by Broadcom Corporation in August 2005. From December 2001 to December 2003, Mr. Gulett was President and Chief Executive Officer of ARC International plc, a technology licensing and embedded software company. Prior to ARC, Mr. Gulett served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Virata Corporation, a leading supplier of DSL processors. Mr. Gulett has also held a range of engineering, operations and business management positions at VLSI Technology, California Devices, NCR Microelectronics and Intel Corporation. Mr. Gulett holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Dayton. He is Board Member of Cellscient, a private company, from August 2005 to present.
Sindelar, Cory Cory J. Sindelar has served as Chief Financial Officer of Ikanos Communications, Inc since October 2006. Mr. Sindelar joined Ikanos in September 2006 as Vice President of Finance. From October 2003 to October 2006, Mr. Sindelar served as Director of Finance and Accounting at EMC Corporation, an information infrastructure solutions company. Mr. Sindelar was the Vice President, Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer of Legato Systems, Inc., a software company from December 2000 until October 2003, at which time it was acquired by EMC Corporation. Prior to joining EMC/Legato, Mr. Sindelar served as Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, a global assurance and business advisory firm in San Jose, California. Garen, Craig Mr. Craig Garen is the Chief Operating Officer of Ikanos Communication Inc. He was senior vice president and general manager of Conexant’s Broadband Access business from 2007 to 2009. Prior to Conexant, Garen served as senior vice president of LSI Corporation’s Mobility Division from 2006 to 2007, after serving at Agere Systems from 2001 to 2006. At Agere Systems, Garen’s positions included vice president of engineering for the Telecom Division, and general manager of the company’s Broadband Access business unit. Before Agere Systems, Garen served as general manager of Client Access for Lucent Technologies’ Microelectronics Group. Garen also worked for AT&T’s Microelectronics Group, and for AT&T’s Bell Labs.
Pal, Debajyoti Mr. Debajyoti "Debu" Pal is Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer of Ikanos Communications, Inc. A 27-year veteran in the communication and semiconductor industry, Pal has extensive experience identifying and developing new technologies and products, and a proven record of successfully bringing products from concept phase to product delivery. Prior to joining Ikanos, Pal spent over five years at Tallwood Venture Capital in a variety of roles, including CTO and executive-in-residence. His extensive communications experience includes founding Telicos Corporation, a developer of 10 Gigbit Ethernet over copper physical layer (PHY) technology, and Excess Bandwidth Corporation, an xDSL PHY chipset company that was acquired by Virata Corporation. At Virata, Pal was a vice president, responsible for xDSL PHY technology and IC product development. In addition, his communications industry experience includes key senior technical and technical management roles at ADSL and VDSL technology pioneer, Amati Communications Corporation (acquired by Texas Instruments), and senior technical positions at AT&T Bell Laboratories, where he was involved in developing algorithms, architectures, ICs and systems for wire line as well as wireless communications. Mr. Pal started his carrier at Intel Corporation, where he was on the 80286-microprocessor design engineering team. Mr. Pal holds seven U.S. patents, has published more than 30 technical papers, is a Fellow of the IEEE and has served as a consulting professor of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University over the last 12 years. He received a B.Tech. (Honors) degree in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering (ECE) from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, India; a M.S.E.E. degree from Washington State University; and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
Karr, Daniel Mr. Dan Karr is Senior Vice President - Worldwide Sales of Ikanos Communications, Inc. Before joining Ikanos, Karr held executive sales and marketing positions at high-growth public companies such as S3, Virata and GlobespanVirata. Mr. Karr also held the position of president and CEO of Level 5 Networks, where he grew the company from an unfunded start-up to corporate acquisition. Mr. Karr also was the vice president of sales and marketing at Tzero Technologies and the vice president of sales at Avnera. Earlier in his career, Karr held engineering, marketing and sales positions at Adaptec and Cirrus Logic as they grew from initial start-up to successful public companies. Mr. Karr earned a Bachelor's degree in physics and mathematics from Linfield College in Oregon.
Sivakumar, Siva Kumar Sivakumar as senior vice president and general manager at Ikanos Communications since April 2008. Mr. Sivakumar is responsible for creating and executing Ikanos’ product vision and strategy. Prior to joining Ikanos, Mr. Sivakumar held a variety of leadership positions during his 14 years at LSI Logic, including general manager positions for the Communications Division, Communications Standard Products Business Unit and the Broadband Access Business Unit. Previously, Mr. Sivakumar was responsible for strategic marketing and product development at Raytheon’s semiconductor division. Mr. Sivakumar started his career at National Semiconductor as a senior engineer in the Interface Design Group. Mr. Sivakumar earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of London, an M.S.E.E. from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from University of California, Berkeley.
Mesel, Noah Noah D. Mesel has been Vice President and General Counsel for Ikanos Communications Inc. since June 2007 and served as head of Company's human resources from September 2007 to September 2008. Mr. Mesel previously served as general counsel at Legato Systems from March 2001 to October 2003, served as general counsel at Riverstone Networks from January 2004 to October 2006, and was corporate counsel at Lucent Technologies, supporting their global outsourcing business unit from September 1998 to September 2000. Lax, Frederick Frederick M. Lax is Director of Ikanos Communications, Inc since January 2008. Mr. Lax Since 2006, Mr. Lax has worked as a telecommunications executive advisor.
