Name Description

Stephen McCluski

Mr. Stephen C. McCluski is an Independent Chairman of the Board of ImmunoGen Inc. Mr. McCluski has served as the Chairman of our Board of Directors since 2009. Mr. McCluski served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Bausch & Lomb Incorporated, a manufacturer of health care products for the eye, from 1995 to his retirement in 2007. Mr. McCluski is also a director of Monro Muffler Brake, Inc. and the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center of the University of Rochester and, within the past five years, he also served as a director of Indevus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Standard Microsystems Corporation. We believe Mr. McCluski's qualifications to serve on our Board include his global management experience and knowledge of financial and accounting matters and mergers and acquisitions. As a result of these experiences, Mr. McCluski has a wide-ranging understanding of business organizations generally and healthcare businesses in particular.

Mark Enyedy

Mr. Mark J. Enyedy has been appointed as President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of the Company., effective 16 may 2016. He brings over 25 years of combined general management, business development and legal experience in the biotechnology industry. He joins ImmunoGen from Shire plc, where he served as Executive Vice President and Head of Corporate Development, leading the company's Strategy, M&A, and Corporate Planning functions and providing commercial oversight for the company's pre-Phase 3 portfolio. Previously, Mr. Enyedy served as CEO of Proteostasis Therapeutics, Inc., following 15 years at Genzyme Corporation in diverse roles, most recently as President of the Transplant, Oncology, and Multiple Sclerosis divisions. During his tenure at Genzyme, Mr. Enyedy developed and executed the company's strategy to enter the oncology market, overseeing the launch of two new products and managing a global business generating over $675 million in revenue with operations in more than 50 countries.

David Johnston

Mr. David B. Johnston is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Johnston joined ImmunoGen in 2013, and has served as our Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since that date. Prior to joining ImmunoGen, Mr. Johnston served as Chief Financial Officer of AVEO Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biotechnology company, from 2007 to 2013. Mr. Johnston holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.

Ellie Harrison

Ms. Ellie Harrison is the Chief Human Resource Officer, Vice President of ImmunoGen Inc., Ms. Harrison has led HR functions in organizations ranging from 40 to 8,000 employees. She joins ImmunoGen from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Rhode Island (BCBSRI), where she was Senior Vice President of Human Resources, with responsibility for compensation and benefits, diversity and inclusion, talent management and acquisition, and employee engagement and development. Prior to joining BCBSRI, Ms. Harrison was Managing Director, Senior Human Resources Advisor at Citigroup, serving as head of HR for multiple lines of businesses within its global consumer banking division. Prior to joining Citigroup in 2009, Ms. Harrison held high level HR positions of increasing responsibility at Fidelity Investments, which she joined in 1997. Ms. Harrison's career has also included senior HR positions at Chubb Life America, Banc One Asset Management Company and Healthsource, Inc. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota.

Richard Gregory

Dr. Richard J. Gregory, Ph.D. has been appointed as Executive Vice President - Research, Chief Scientific Officer of the Company effective January 5, 2015. Dr. Gregory has served as our Executive Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer since that date. Prior to joining ImmunoGen, he spent 25 years at Genzyme Corporation, a biotechnology company, in roles of increasing responsibility, including Senior Vice President and Head of Research from 2003 until Genzyme's acquisition by Sanofi in 2011, and Head of Research and Development for Genzyme from 2011 through 2014. Dr. Gregory holds a PhD from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and completed his post-doctoral work at the Worcester Foundation for Experimental Biology.

John Lambert

Dr. John M. Lambert, Ph.D., is Executive Vice President - Distinguished Research Fellow of ImmunoGen, Inc., effective January 5, 2015. He joined ImmunoGen in 1987, and has served as our Executive Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer since July 2008. Prior to that he served in various capacities of increasing responsibility in the areas of research and development. Dr. Lambert holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from University of Cambridge in England, and completed his postdoctoral work at the University of California at Davis and at Glasgow University in Scotland.

Charles Morris

Dr. Charles Q. Morris is Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer of ImmunoGen, Inc. effective November 26, 2012. Dr. Morris joined ImmunoGen in November 2012, and has served as our Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer since that date. Prior to joining ImmunoGen, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Allos Therapeutics, Inc., a biotechnology company, from 2010 until its acquisition in 2012. Prior to that he served as Vice President, Worldwide Clinical Research, at Cephalon, Inc., a biotechnology company, from 2008 to 2010. Dr. Morris holds his medical degrees from Sheffield University Medical School and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians of London.

Sandra Poole

Ms. Sandra E. Poole is Senior Vice President - Technical Operations of ImmunoGen, Inc. Ms. Poole joined ImmunoGen in September 2014, and has served as our Executive Vice President of Technical Operations since July 1, 2015. Prior to that she served as our Senior Vice President, Technical Operations, from her date of hire through June 2015. Prior to joining ImmunoGen, she spent 15 years at Genzyme Corporation, a biotechnology company, and its subsidiaries in roles of increasing responsibility, including as Senior Vice President overseeing various technical operations within Genzyme from 2009 to 2013, and as Senior Vice President, Biologics Manufacturing from 2013 to September 2014.

Mr. Craig Barrows is Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary of ImmunoGen, Inc. He joined ImmunoGen in 2007, and has served as our Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary since that date.

Anna Berkenblit

Dr. Anna Berkenblit, M.D. is Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of ImmunoGen, Inc. Prior to joining ImmunoGen, Dr. Berkenblit was Senior Vice President, Clinical Development at H3 Biomedicine, a developer of targeted anticancer compounds founded by Eisai Pharmaceuticals. Prior to H3 Biomedicine, she was VP, Head of Clinical Research at AVEO Oncology, where she led the clinical development of oncology product candidates spanning early testing to registration trials. Prior to AVEO, Dr. Berkenblit held positions of increasing responsibility at Wyeth and then Pfizer, becoming Vice President, Neratinib Asset Team Leader in the Pfizer Oncology Business Unit. Dr. Berkenblit earned an MD degree from Harvard Medical School, and a MMSc degree in the Clinical Investigator Training Program of Harvard/MIT Health Sciences & Technology. She did her internship and residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital and a hematology/oncology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where she also ran the Phase I oncology clinical trial program as part of the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center.

Peter Williams

Mr. Peter J. Williams is Vice President - Business Development of ImmunoGen, Inc. He joined ImmunoGen in August 2009, and has served as our Vice President, Business Development since that date. Prior to joining ImmunoGen, he served as a Senior Director of Business Development at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, from 2006 to August 2009.

Mark Goldberg

Dr. Mark Goldberg, M.D., is an Independent Director of ImmunoGen Inc. He has served as Senior Vice President of Product Development for Synageva BioPharma Corp., a biopharmaceutical company, since 2011. Prior to that he served in various management capacities of increasing responsibility at Genzyme Corporation, a biopharmaceutical company, from 1996 to 2011, most recently as Senior Vice President, Clinical Research and Global Therapeutic Head, Oncology, Genetic Health, and as Chairman of Genzyme's Early Product Review Board. Dr. Nicole Onetto, M.D., is an Independent Director of ImmunoGen, Inc. Dr. Onetto has served as Deputy Director and Chief Scientific Officer of the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research since 2009. Prior to that she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of ZymoGenetics, Inc., a biotechnology company, from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at OSI Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, from 2003 to 2005, and as Executive Vice President of OSI Pharmaceutical's Oncology business from 2002 to 2003. Ms. Kristine Peterson is an Independent Director of ImmunoGen, Inc., effective January 30, 2012. Ms. Peterson has served as Chief Executive Officer of Valeritas, Inc., a medical technology company focusing on innovative drug delivery systems, since 2009. Prior to that she served as Company Group Chair of Johnson & Johnson's biotech groups from 2006 to 2009, and as Executive Vice President for J&J's global strategic marketing organization from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that she served as Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations for Biovail Corporation, a pharmaceutical company, and President of Biovail Pharmaceuticals from 2003 to 2004. Prior to that she spent 20 years at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, a pharmaceutical company, in assignments of increasing responsibility spanning marketing, sales and general management, including running a cardiovascular/metabolic business unit and a generics division. Howard Pien

Mr. Howard H. Pien is an Independent Director of ImmunoGen Inc. Mr. Pien served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Medarex, Inc., a biotechnology company, from 2007 to its acquisition by Bristol-Myers Squibb Company in September 2009. Prior to that he was a private consultant from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Chiron Corporation, a biopharmaceutical company, from 2003 to its acquisition by Novartis AG in 2006. Prior to that he served in various executive capacities at GlaxoSmithKline plc (GSK), a pharmaceutical company, and its predecessor companies, including as President of GSK's International Pharmaceuticals business from 2000 to 2003, nd as President of Pharmaceutical Operations of SmithKline Beecham plc (a predecessor of GSK). Mr. Pien also worked for six years at Abbott Laboratories, a diversified health care products company, and for five years at Merck & Co., Inc., a pharmaceutical company, in positions in sales, market research, licensing and product management. Mr. Pien is also currently an advisor to the life sciences practice of Warburg Pincus, a private equity firm, as well as a director of Indivior PLC (as non-executive chairman), Juno Therapeutics, Inc. Joseph Villafranca

Dr. Joseph J. Villafranca, Ph.D., is an Independent Director of ImmunoGen, Inc. Dr. Villafranca has served as the President of BioPharmaceutical Consultants LLC since May 2012. Prior to that he served as Senior Vice President, SOU Head, Life Sciences, of Tunnell Consulting, a consulting firm focusing on the life sciences industry, from 2009 to his retirement from Tunnell Consulting in April 2012. Prior to that he served as Senior Vice President—Operations and Principal & Practice Director, Life Sciences, of Tunnell Consulting from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that he served as President of Biopharmaceutical Consultants LLC from 2005 to 2006. Prior to that he served as Executive Vice President, Pharmaceutical Development and Operations at Neose Technologies, Inc., a biotechnology company, from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that he served in various executive positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company over a period of 11 years. Dr. Villafranca holds a PhD in Biochemistry/Chemistry from Purdue University and completed his postdoctoral work at the Institute for Cancer Research in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We believe Dr. Villafranca's qualifications to serve on our Board include his current and former experience as an industry consultant as well as his executive positions at both biotechnology and large pharmaceutical companies. Richard Wallace

Mr. Richard J. Wallace is an Independent Director of ImmunoGen, Inc. Mr. Wallace served as a Senior Vice President for Research and Development at GlaxoSmithKline plc (GSK), a pharmaceutical company, from 2004 to his retirement in 2008. Prior to that he served in various executive capacities for GSK and its predecessor companies and their subsidiaries from 1992 to 2004. Mr. Wallace's experience prior to joining GSK included eight years with Bristol-Myers Squibb Company and seven years at Johnson & Johnson in assignments spanning marketing, sales, manufacturing and general management. Mr. Wallace is also a director of GNC Corporation and, within the past five years, he also served as a director of Avigen, Inc., Bridgehead International Ltd. and Clinical Data, Inc. We believe Mr. Wallace's qualifications to serve on our Board include former experience in various capacities of increasing responsibility at several large pharmaceutical companies. As a result of these experiences, Mr. Wallace has a wide-ranging understanding of drug development both in the U.S. and internationally.
