Lauer, Allen Mr. Allen J. Lauer has been a Director of Intermec Inc since 2003, and has served as the Non - Executive Chairman of the Board and the Chair of the Governance Committee since July 2007. Mr. Lauer is Retired Chairman of the Board of Varian, Inc., a supplier of scientific instruments and vacuum technologies. Mr. Lauer served as the Chairman of Varian from 2002 through February 2009. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Varian from 1999 until his retirement from that position on December 31, 2003.
Byrne, Patrick Mr. Patrick J. Byrne has been President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Intermec, Inc. since July 2007. Prior to joining Intermec, Mr. Byrne served as a Senior Vice President of Agilent Technologies Inc., a bio-analytical and electronic measurement company, and President of its Electronic Measurement Group from February 2005 to March 2007. Prior to assuming that position, Mr. Byrne served as Vice President and General Manager for Agilent’s Electronic Products and Solutions Group's Wireless Business Unit from September 2001 to February 2005.
