Name Description

Marco Milani

Mr. Marco Milani has served as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Indesit Company SpA since May 7, 2013. He was Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Indesit Company SpA from July 27, 2004 until May 7, 2013. On June 30, 2004, he was appointed Executive Director of the Company. He also serves as Member of the Strategic Development Committee of the Company. He joined the Company in 1980. In 1998, he became Head of the CIS and Eastern European markets, based in Moscow, until the acquisition of Stinol in 2000. Back in Italy, he took over as Chief Operating Officer and, in March 2002, was appointed Chief Executive Officer at Indesit Company UK (the United Kingdom), formed as a result of the acquisition of GDA Hotpoint, which he guided to full integration. He served as Director at Carraro SpA. He is a graduate in Engineering.

Vittorio Merloni

Mr. Vittorio Merloni, CBE, has served as Honorary Chairman of Indesit Company SpA since April 29, 2010. He previously served as Chairman of the Board at Indesit Company SpA. He is Chairman of Fineldo. His professional career began in the 1960’s and, in 1975, he founded Merloni Elettrodomestici (Indesit Company) and became its Chairman. From 1980 to 1984, he served as President of Confindustria and sits on its general council. From July 1984 to June 1988, he was Chairman of Centromarca. From 1981 to 1994, he sat on the Board of Directors of the Associates of the Harvard Business School of Boston. He was President of Assonime from July 2001 to June 2005 and is Member of its Executive Committee and General Council. He is Member of the International Board of the Council for Relations between Italy and the United States. He was Member of the Board of Directors of Telecom Italia, Endesa Italia and Fondazione Rosselli. In 1984, he was made Cavaliere del Lavoro. In April 2003, he was made a Commander of the British Empire for his business activities in the United Kingdom following the acquisition of Hotpoint. In November 2004, he received the Leonardo Award. On May 6, 2005 he received the GEI (Gruppo Esponenti Italiani) Award in New York. In October 2007, he received the Keynes-Sraffa Award. He holds a degree in Business and Economics.

Paolo Monferino

Mr. Paolo Monferino serves as Non-Executive Independent Director of Indesit Company SpA. He served as Member of the Human Resources and Remuneration Committees, as Chairman of the Related Parties Transactions Committee and as Member of the Strategic Development Committee of the Company. He joined Fiat in 1973. In 1981, he moved to Chicago, Illinois, as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Procurement and Material Management, at Fiat Allis. In the 1980, he became General Manager of the company’s Latin American subsidiary in Brazil and in 1986 its Chief Operating Officer (COO). In 1987, he was appointed COO of Fiat Agri, Fiat’s farm machinery division. Following the 1991 acquisition of Ford New Holland and the creation of New Holland, he was made Executive Vice President of the merged company. From 1996 to 2000, he was Executive Vice President of Fiat Group with responsibility for the following components manufacturers and other industrial operations: Magneti Marelli, Teksid, Comau-Pico, FiatAvio, Fiat Ferroviaria, Fiat Engineering and Centro Ricerche Fiat. In 2000, he went back to Chicago as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CNH (Case New Holland). In 2005, he returned to Italy to become CEO of IVECO and its financial joint ventures with Barclays. He has been at the Head of the Health department at Regione Piemonte since December 2010. He took a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Torino.
