Singh, Jagdeep Mr. Jagdeep Singh is the Executive Chairman of the Board of Infinera Corporation. He co-founded the company and has served as President and Chief Executive Officer since January 2001, and as Chairman of the company's board of Directors since March 2001. From December 1999 to December 2000, Mr. Singh served as co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of OnFiber Communications, Inc., or OnFiber, an optical telecommunications carrier. From January 1998 to March 1999, Mr. Singh served as co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Lightera Networks, or Lightera, an optical switching equipment company, and upon Ciena Corporation’s acquisition of Lightera in March 1999, served as President of Ciena’s Core Switching Division. Mr. Singh holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, an Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University and an Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
Fallon, Thomas Mr. Thomas J. Fallon is the Chief Executive Officer, President, Chief Operating Officer, Director of Infinera Corporation. From April 2004 to September 2006, Mr. Fallon was the company's Vice President of Engineering and Operations. From August 2003 to March 2004, Mr. Fallon was Vice President, Corporate Quality and Development Operations of Cisco Systems, Inc., a networking and telecommunications company. From 1987 to 2001, Mr. Martin worked at Fujitsu Network Communications, based in Richardson, Texas, where he played a key role in Fujitsu's growth to become one of the largest suppliers of optical systems to US telecom companies. In those years, FNC grew from a $30 million company to a $3 billion organization with 3000 employees worldwide. Mr. Martin held several roles at FNC culminating in the position of Chief Operating Officer. From 2001 to 2007, Mr. Martin was at Cisco Systems, where he served as Vice-President and General Manager of Cisco's optical business unit. Mr. Martin was involved in the consolidation of multiple international Cisco acquisitions into one streamlined business unit, the success of several optical products, and the leadership of a business unit with revenues that reached more than $1 billion a year. From 2007 until last month, Mr. Martin was at Adva Optical Networking, where he served as Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer and president of Adva's North American subsidiary. In his time at Adva, he successfully built the Adva brand in the US market and led the creation of a US direct sales force.
Lukens, Howard Mr. Howard Lukens is Vice President of Strategic Sales of Infinera Corporation. He had previously served as Vice President of Worldwide Strategic Sales for CIENA, where he was responsible for CIENA's largest sales initiatives and strategic partnerships. Mr. Lukens joined CIENA through the acquisition of Lightera Networks, where he was Vice President of Worldwide Sales for the market-CoreDirector intelligent optical switch. Before joining Lightera, Mr. Lukens served as Vice President of North America Sales a CIENA from 1996-1998. Previously, Mr. Lukens was Regional Sales Director for StrataCom up until its acquisition by Cisco. Corsus, Dirk Mr. Dirk Corsus is Vice President - Systems Engineering of Infinera Corporation. Mr. Corsus spent 23 years with Alcatel and Alcatel Lucent managing global engineering teams, and has been involved with product launches including optical, routing, and access products. He has deep experience with the design and implementation of carrier-class systems to meet the highest standards of service providers worldwide. Among his positions at Alcatel, Mr. Corsus served as Vice President of Engineering and Product Solutions for the Fiber to the User Group, where he was responsible for the development and launch of an Ethernet-centric access solution which rapidly became a market business with a worldwide customer list including many of the world's largest telecom companies.
Welch, David Dr. David F. Welch co-founded Infinera Corporation and has served as the company's Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer since January 2007. Mr. Hooshmand brings considerable strategic and operating experience to Infinera's board as the company continues to broaden its product offerings and global reach in the optical networking industry He was recently CEO and president of Applied Micro Circuits ("AMCC") where he helped launch the company into the 10G Ethernet & optical transport networks markets and helped significantly increase AMCC revenues. During this tenure, AMCC became a recognized leader in the emerging data center application market. Prior to joining AMCC in 2005, Mr. Hooshmand was with Cisco Systems, Inc. for nine years, most recently as general manager & group vice president for optical & broadband. Earlier, Mr. Hooshmand was with StrataCom and Rolm Corporation. Mr. Hooshmand has a M.S. in Engineering Management from Stanford University.
