Jeffrey Miller |
Mr. Jeffrey L. Miller is Independent Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Investors Real Estate Trust. Mr. Miller has served as a Independent Trustee of the Company since 1985, and as Independent Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Company since 2002. Mr. Miller has been a private investor for the past five years, and is currently the managing partner of two privately-held real estate limited partnerships. From 1970 to 2006, he was the President of M&S Concessions, Inc., a food service and facility-management company. From 1978 until the sale of the company in 1994 he was the President of Coca-Cola Bottling of Minot, North Dakota. |
Timothy Mihalick |
Mr. Timothy P. Mihalick is President, Chief Executive Officer, Trustee of Investors Real Estate Trust. He has served as a trustee of the Company since 1999, and has been employed by the Company since 1981. Mr. Mihalick was Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company from 1997 to September 2009, and is currently the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Mihalick is a former Vice President of Odell-Wentz & Associates, L.L.C., the Company’s former adviser. Mr. Mihalick has been on the Board of Trinity Health Group in Minot, North Dakota since 2003, and is active in a number of local philanthropic organizations. |

Since 1992 he has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Watford City BancShares, Inc., a bank holding company, and President and Chairman of First International Bank & Trust, Watford City, North Dakota, a state banking and trust association. Mr. Stenehjem brings the following experience, qualifications, attributes and skills to the Board: general business management, investment and strategic planning experience through his position as chief executive of Watford City BancShares and First International Bank & Trust; experience in business investment and finance through his position as chief executive of Watford City BancShares and First International Bank & Trust; and business and personal contacts and familiarity with business conditions in North Dakota, a principal market for the Company, through living and working in the state for over 40 years. |

Ms. Diane K. Bryantt is the Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of Investors Real Estate Trust. She is a graduate of Minot State University. Ms. Bryantt joined the company in June 1996, and served as Controller and Corporate Secretary before being appointed to the positions of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2002 and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in June 2012. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Bryantt was employed by First American Bank, Minot, North Dakota. |

Mr. Thomas A. Wentz, Jr., is Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President, Trustee of Investors Real Estate Trust. Mr. Michael A. Bosh is Executive Vice President, General Counsel of Investors Real Estate Trust. He joined the company as Associate General Counsel and Secretary in September 2002, and was named General Counsel in September 2003 and Executive Vice President and General Counsel in June 2012. Prior to 2002, Mr. Bosh was a shareholder in the law firm of Pringle & Herigstad, P.C. Mr. Bosh graduated from Jamestown College in 1992 and from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 1995. Mr. Reiling holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Notre Dame, and has over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate. He was associated with the Towle Real Estate Company and its successors (now Cassidy Turley) in Minneapolis, Minnesota, for approximately 18 years as President of Towle Properties, Inc., providing asset management services to commercial property owners, and as Senior Vice President at Cassidy Turley, responsible for new business development (brokerage and property management services). |
Ted Holmes |
Mr. Ted E. Holmes is Senior Vice President - Finance of Investors Real Estate Trust since December 2010. He joined teh Company in 2009 as Vice President of Finance, and was promoted to Senior Vice President of Finance in December 2010. Mr. Holmes has over 15 years of experience in the finance industry, including the placement of debt and equity as a commercial and mortgage banker. From 1994 to 2002 Mr. Holmes was an Analyst and Assistant Vice President with Towle Financial Services/Midwest, a privately held mortgage banking company in Minneapolis, and he served as Director with Wells Fargo Bank, NA from 2003 to 2009. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from St. Cloud State University and is a licensed Minnesota Broker. |

Mr. Charles A. Greenberg is Senior Vice President - Commercial Asset Management of Investors Real Estate Trust. He joined IRET in August 2005 as Director of Commercial Asset Management. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has over 26 years of experience in both asset and property management of institutional-grade real estate investments. From 1989 to 2005, Mr. Greenberg was General Manager at Northco Corporation, a Minneapolis-based real estate investment firm. |

Mr. Andrew Martin is Senior Vice President - Residential Property Management of Investors Real Estate Trust since May 2011. He joined IRET in December 2009 to lead the Company’s Residential Property Management division. He has over 17 years of experience in the commercial and property management industry. Prior to his employment with IRET, Mr. Martin was a partner with INH Companies, a property management firm based in St. Cloud, Minnesota, and also worked in Minneapolis, Minnesota for United Properties as a regional property manager. Mr. Martin holds a bachelors degree in Real Estate and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from St. Cloud State University, and has earned the designation of Certified Property Manager from the Institute of Real Estate Management. |
Linda Keller |
Ms. Linda Hall Keller, Ph.D., is Independent Trustee of Investors Real Estate Trust since September 21, 2011. Since 2008, Ms. Keller has been Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, and she is currently a consultant to start-up companies and non-profit entities. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Michigan, Ms. Keller has a Ph. D from the University of Minnesota. She has served as an executive with public and private companies, including service as the Chief Executive Officer of MinuteClinic from 2002 to 2005. Ms. Keller has served on a number of public and private boards of directors, including the boards of two NASDAQ-listed companies, MTS Systems Corporation, from 1995 to 2006, and August Technology, from 2002 to 2006, and one AMEX-listed company, HealthFitness Corporation, from 2001 to 2010. Mr. John T. Reed is Independent Trustee of Investors Real Estate Trust. Mr. Reed, a private investor for the past five years, was from 2000 to early 2005 the Chairman of HMG Properties, a real estate investment company, and, from 1997 to 2000, the Chairman of McCarthy & Co., an investment bank. Prior to that, Mr. Reed, who practiced as a Certified Public Accountant, spent 32 years with Arthur Andersen & Co., advising public and private companies, including real estate companies, on accounting and financial matters. From 2003 to the present, Mr. Reed has served on the Boards of Level 3 Communications, Inc., a public company, and Tetrad Corporation, a private company. He served as a member of the Board of First National of Nebraska, Inc., an Omaha-based multi-state bank holding company, from 2006 to 2010. From 1997 to 2006, Mr. Reed served on the Board of Bridges Investment Fund, Inc., a mutual fund registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940. Mr. W. David Scott is Independent Trustee of Investors Real Estate Trust. Since 1994 he has been the Chief Executive Officer of Tetrad Corporation (formerly known as Magnum Resources, Inc.), a real estate services and investment firm based in Omaha, Nebraska. Mr. John D. Stewart is Independent Trustee of Investors Real Estate Trust since 2004. He is the President of Glacial Holdings, Inc. and Glacial Holdings LLC, private residential and commercial real estate holding companies, and of Glacial Holdings Property Management, Inc., a private property management company. Through a number of private entities, Mr. Stewart is an investor in various business enterprises.
