Eduardo Sergio Elsztain

 Mr. Eduardo Sergio Elsztain has been Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of IRSA Inversiones y Representaciones SA since 1991. He was granted a leave of absence from January 7, 2013 to January 31, 2013. He also acts as Member of the Executive Committee of the Company. Moreover, he was granted leaves of absence in different terms: from January 10, 2012, to January 20, 2012; between February 13, 2012, and February 18, 2012; between April 5, 2012, and April 17, 2012, and from July 16, 2012, until July 26, 2012. He has been engaged in the real estate business for more than 20 years. He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alto Palermo, Consultores Assets Management SA, Cresud SACIF y A, BACS Banco de Credito & Securitizacion (BACS) and Banco Hipotecario, among others.
