Nir Gilad |
Mr. Nir Gilad serves as Chairman of the Board of ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd since January 1, 2008 and has been a Director at the Company since May, 2006. He also serves as Director at a number of the Company’s subsidiaries and he has been serving as President and Chief Executive Officer at Israel Corporation, the principal shareholder of the Company, since 2007. He previously served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Strategy and Business Development at Israel Corporation, Accountant-General at Israel's Ministry of Finance, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Migdal Insurance and Financial Holdings Ltd, Chief Executive Officer at Migdal Investments Management 2001 Ltd., and Chairman at Migdal Capital Markets Ltd. Mr. Gilad also held senior positions at the Ministry of Finance, including Deputy to the Budget Supervisor and Assistant to the Budget Supervisor, where he was in charge of the security, civil administration and administration budgets. Mr. Stefan Borgas was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd in September 2012. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Borgas served as the Chief Executive Officer of Lonza Group AG, a Swiss chemicals company, from 2004 to 2012. Prior thereto, from 1990 to 2004, Mr. Borgas served in a number of senior positions at BASF, including as Group Vice President of BASF's Fine Chemicals unit. Mr. Borgas has been a Director of Syngenta, since 2009, and is also a member of its Board's Audit Committee. Mr. Eli Ovadia was appointed External Director of ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd on August 16, 2011. He is Chairman of Israel Airports Authority, a position he has held since 2006, and a director of Zim Integrated Shipping Lines, as well as Chairman of I.C.P.I. Prior thereto, he served a member of the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament from 1984 to 1996, where he was also Deputy Speaker, and Deputy Defense Minister of the State of Israel from 1991 to 1992. After leaving the Knesset, he was Active Chairman of Oil Refineries Ltd. from 1996 to 2003, and Chairman of Israel Military Industries from 2005 to 2006.
