Biographies

Name Description

Nir Gilad

 Mr. Nir Gilad serves as Chairman of the Board of ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd since January 1, 2008 and has been a Director at the Company since May, 2006. He also serves as Director at a number of the Company’s subsidiaries and he has been serving as President and Chief Executive Officer at Israel Corporation, the principal shareholder of the Company, since 2007. He previously served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Strategy and Business Development at Israel Corporation, Accountant-General at Israel's Ministry of Finance, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Migdal Insurance and Financial Holdings Ltd, Chief Executive Officer at Migdal Investments Management 2001 Ltd., and Chairman at Migdal Capital Markets Ltd. Mr. Gilad also held senior positions at the Ministry of Finance, including Deputy to the Budget Supervisor and Assistant to the Budget Supervisor, where he was in charge of the security, civil administration and administration budgets. He holds a BA in Agricultural Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MBA from the Bar-Ilan University.

Stefan Borgas

 Mr. Stefan Borgas was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd in September 2012. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Borgas served as the Chief Executive Officer of Lonza Group AG, a Swiss chemicals company, from 2004 to 2012. Prior thereto, from 1990 to 2004, Mr. Borgas served in a number of senior positions at BASF, including as Group Vice President of BASF's Fine Chemicals unit. Mr. Borgas has been a Director of Syngenta, since 2009, and is also a member of its Board's Audit Committee. Beyond his business life, Mr. Borgas is also active with several non- profit and social projects as well as acting as a coach for start-up entrepreneurs. Mr. Borgas holds a BBA degree from the University of Saarbruecken, and an MBA degree from the University of St. Gallen.

Avraham Doitchman

 Mr. Avi Doitchman serves as Deputy Chief Executive Officer at ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd since August 16, 2011. Previously he served as Chief Financial Officer at the Company from February 28, 2000 until August 16, 2011. He also serves as Director at several subsidiaries of the Company and he previously served as Vice President- Accounting and Taxes at the Company. Dani Chen

He previously served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at ICL Fertilizers and also at various production and marketing positions at the Company in Israel and overseas. Charles Weidhas

 Mr. Charles M. Weidhas serves as President & Chief Executive Officer of ICL Performance Products Segment at ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd since November 2007. Prior to joining ICL, Mr. Weidhas served in a wide range of senior management positions over a period of 25 years in Monsanto and Solutia, Inc., where he served as General Manager of the Special Products Division. Mr. Weidhas has more than 10 years of experience in the phosphate business. Mr. Weidhas received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and an M.B.A. from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Asher Grinbaum

 Mr. Asher Grinbaum serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd since January 1, 2008. Prior his appointment, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of ICL Fertilizers Segment at the Company from 2004 to 2007, as well as President and Chief Executive Officer of ICL Industrial Products Segment. Mr. Grinbaum holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration both from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

Eli Amit

 Mr. Eli Amit serves as Executive Vice President of Finance at ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd since August 16, 2011. Previously he served as Vice president of Economics at the Company from January 1, 2002 until August 16, 2011. Amir Benita

 Mr. Amir Benita was appointed Vice President of Accounting of ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd since March 2012. From December 2007 to February 2012, he served as Controller. Previously, Mr. Benita, a CPA, was Senior Manager at Kost, Forer, Gabbay and Kasierer - Ernst & Young (Israel) from 2002 to 2007, and at Luboshitz Kasierer from 2001 to 2002. At Kost, Mr. Benita managed the audit process of numerous public and private companies. Mr. Benita has a degree in Business Administration from the Institute for Management, and teaches Accounting Standards (IFRS) to accounting students there.

Michael Hazan

 Mr. Michael Hazzan serves as Vice President - Finance at ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd since March 2012. Previously, Mr. Hazzan worked for ICL’s Department of Finance for 18 years, including five years as the Company’s Group Treasurer. Mr. Hazzan holds a B.A. in Economics from Tel Aviv University and an M.A. in Economics from Bar Ilan University.

 Mr. Yakir Menashe serves as Vice President of Human Resources at ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd since January 2013. He previously served as Vice President of Regulation & Enforcement since March 2012. Hezi Israel

 Mr. Hezi Israel was appointed Vice President, Business Development and Strategy of ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd in March 2012. Previously, from 2007 to 2012, Mr. Israel served as VP Strategy and Business Development for ICL Industrial Products. From 2000-2007 he served at Teva in the areas of business development and global merger and acquisition activity. From 2003-2007, Mr. Israel was the head of Teva’s business development department and a member of the executive management team of the international group. Lisa Haimovitz

 Ms. Lisa Haimovitz serves as General Counsel and Company Secretary at ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd since May 1, 2009. She previously served as Vice President - Strategy at Delek Group, and held a number of positions at Israel’s Securities Authority, where she was promoted to Senior Advisor to the Authority’s Chairman and Head of its Department of International Affairs. Ms. Haimovitz holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting and an L.L.B. degree (Bachelor of Law) both from the Tel Aviv University.

Haim Erez

Eran Sarig

 Mr. Eran Asher Sarig was appointed Director of ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd on October 4, 2010. He was appointed Vice President Business Development & Strategy, of Israel Corp. in 2010. Prior to joining Israel Corp., he served as Director for Corporate Business Development at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. Previously, Mr. Sarig was an attorney in the Corporate Legal Department of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. He also worked at the law firm of Willkie Farr and Gallagher LLP in New York, as well as the law firm of Herzog, Fox & Neeman in Tel Aviv. Abraham Shochat

 Mr. Abraham (Baiga) Shochat serves as Director at ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd since January 26, 2006. He is Director at various subsidiaries of the Company. Mr. Shochat serves as Director at Alon U.S.A Energy Inc., Direct Insurance - Financial Investments Ltd., Kali Capital Markets Insurance Agency (2006) Ltd, and Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank Ltd. He is a former Minister of Finance from 1992 to 1996 and from 1999 to 2001, as well as Minister of Infrastructure within the Israeli Government. Moshe Vidman

 Mr.Yaacov Dior serves as External Director at ICL Israel Chemicals Limited since October 5, 2011. Previously he served as External Director at the Company from September 1, 2003 until September 1, 2009. He serves as a Director at several subsidiaries of the Company. Miriam Haran

 Dr. Miriam (Miki) Haran serves as External Director at ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd since July, 2009. Dr. Haran was previously Director General of Israel’s Ministry of the Environment and deals in the field of environmental protection. She currently serves as Head of Ono Academic College’s MBA/ Environmental Management Program and is Chief Scientist at Tamarix Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on Israel-related cleantech companies. Dr. Haran holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Brandeis University, and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Yair Orgler

 Prof. Yair Orgler serves as External Director at ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd since September 5, 2006. He serves as Director at several subsidiaries of the Company. Prof. Orgler serves as Outside Director at Bank Hapoalim, Itamar Medical Ltd, Gazit-Globe Ltd. and Ceragon Networks, as well as Director at Atidim. Prof. Orgler holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, an M.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Southern California, as well as a Ph.D. and Masters degree in Industrial Administration from the Carnegie Mellon University.

Eli Ovadia

 Mr. Eli Ovadia was appointed External Director of ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd on August 16, 2011. He is Chairman of Israel Airports Authority, a position he has held since 2006, and a director of Zim Integrated Shipping Lines, as well as Chairman of I.C.P.I. Prior thereto, he served a member of the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament from 1984 to 1996, where he was also Deputy Speaker, and Deputy Defense Minister of the State of Israel from 1991 to 1992. After leaving the Knesset, he was Active Chairman of Oil Refineries Ltd. from 1996 to 2003, and Chairman of Israel Military Industries from 2005 to 2006. Prior to serving in the Knesset, Mr. Ovadia headed Israel’s school system in the north, and was also Mayor of Afula, a city in Northern Israel. Mr. Ovadia serves as a member of the Board of the Jewish Agency for Israel, the Yad Ben Tzvi Institute and director of Amidar Housing Company. He received a BA from the University of Haifa.
