Donald Macleod |
Mr. Donald Macleod is Independent Chairman of the Board of Intersil Corp. Mr. Macleod served as President and Chief Executive Officer of National Semiconductor Corporation from November 2009 until its acquisition in September 2011. Mr. Macleod joined National Semiconductor in 1978 and served in a variety of executive positions prior to becoming CEO, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors from May 2010 to September 2011. Mr. Macleod also currently serves on the Board of Directors of Avago Technologies, a position he has held since November 2007. Mr. Macleod holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and an honorary Doctor of the University degree from the University of Stirling in Scotland. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. |

Dr. Necip Sayiner, Ph.D., has been appointed as President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Intersil Corporation, effective March 14, 2013. He was most recently the president and CEO of Silicon Labs, where he led the transformation of its business, improving product development execution and more than doubling the company's revenue during his 6+ years tenure. Prior to Silicon Labs, Mr. Sayiner held various leadership positions at Agere Systems, most recently as the vice president and general manager of the Enterprise and Networking division. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and physics from Bosphorus University in Turkey, a master's degree in engineering from Southern Illinois University and a doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. |

Ms. Mercedes Johnson will join the management team as interim CFO, proven finance organization, while the company conducts a search for a permanent replacement.
