| Zommer, Nathan | Dr. Nathan Zommer serves as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of IXYS Corporation. He was President of the company. Dr. Zommer is founder of the company, has served as a Director since the inception in 1983, and has served as Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer since 1993. From 1984 to 1993, Dr. Zommer served as the company's Executive Vice President. Prior to founding the company, Dr. Zommer served in a variety of positions with Intersil, Hewlett-Packard and General Electric, including as a scientist in the Hewlett-Packard Laboratories and Director of the Power MOS Division for Intersil/General Electric. Dr. Zommer received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Physical Chemistry from Tel Aviv University and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. |
