Name Description

Richard Falconer

 Mr. Richard D. Falconer has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Jaguar Mining Inc., effective June 29, 2012. Mr. Falconer joined the Board of Directors on May 22, 2012. Prior to that, he spent his entire career with CIBC World Markets Inc., where he retired after 40 years of service as Vice Chairman and Managing Director. In addition to being responsible for senior investment banking relationships, Mr. Falconer's experience at CIBC extended from head of research to co-head of investment banking to Vice Chairman with knowledge across several industries. He is also currently serving as a Director for Resolute Forest Products, Chorus Aviation, Inc., the Bridgepoint Health Foundation and LOFT Community Services.

David Petroff

 Mr. David M. Petroff has been appointed as President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Jaguar Mining Inc., effective 10 September 2012. David has nearly 30 years' experience in the mining industry. Most recently, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Breakwater Resources Ltd. from November 2009 until it was acquired by Nyrstar Canada in August 2011. For nearly 25 years prior to that, he held senior management positions with Centerra Gold Inc., Cameco Corporation and Denison Mines Limited. Mr. Petroff received a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo in 1978 and a Master of Business Administration degree (finance concentration) from the Schulich School of Business, York University in 1980.

Douglas Willock

 Mr. Douglas Willock has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of Jaguar Mining Inc., effective January,2013. Mr. Willock, has over 30 years of experience in corporate finance with Canadian and international investment banks, as well as managing junior resource companies. Most recently he served as president, chief executive officer and director of Polar Star Mining Corp., and is currently a director and chair of the audit committee for Orestone Mining Corp. Mr. Willock holds a master of business administration degree with a major in finance from the Richard Ivey School of Business, Western University, and a bachelor of arts (history) degree from the University of British Columbia. He attended the Beijing Language Institute on a joint government of Canada and China scholarship from 1976 to 1977.

Gordon Babcock

 Mr. Gordon J. Babcock has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer of Jaguar Mining Inc., effective December 11, 2012. Mr. Babcock was most recently the Vice President and General Manager for Nyrstar's El Mochito Mine operation in Las Vegas, Honduras. He has also held various executive positions in South America with Coeur d'Alene Mines and Plata Peru Resources, Inc. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Mining Engineering from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers Ontario, the American Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

Cleber Macedo

 Mr. Cleber Macedo is Vice President - Corporate Management of Jaguar Mining Inc. Mr. Macedo is a professional finance and accouting executive. He trained with Price Waterhouse Coopers and has over 25 years of experience as auditor and controller of corporations including AngloGold Ashanti. Mr. Macedo holds a B.S. in Accounting from the Catholic University of Minas Gerais (PUC-MG).

Frederick Hermann

 Mr. Frederick W. Hermann has been appointed as the Director of Jaguar Mining Inc. Mr. Hermann has 30 years of mining industry experience, most recently as Chief Operating Officer for Breakwater Resources Ltd. and previously as the Chief Inspector of Mines for British Columbia. His areas of experience include Health and Safety, Environment, Productivity Improvement, Risk Management and Mitigation, and Crisis Management. Mr. Hermann holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Calgary and Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Mining Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.

Luis Miraglia

 Mr. Luis Miraglia has been appointed as the Director of Jaguar Mining Inc. He has 18 years of experience in legal practice specializing in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, project finance, infrastructure projects and mining. He holds a degree (JD equivalent) from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and a Master of Laws degree from the University of Chicago Law School.

Andrew Burns

 Mr. Andrew C. Burns is Non-Executive Independent Director of Jaguar Mining Inc., since August 6, 2004. Mr. Burns is an independent director and consultant. In 2003, he retired as a Senior Partner of Deloitte & Touche after almost 40 years of experience in international auditing, consulting and practice management in North and South America, Europe and Asia. He holds an M.B.A. degree from The Richard Ivey School of the University of Western Ontario and is a Member of Institutes of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, Quebec and Bermuda. He is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants of Ontario. He also serves on other Boards as an independent director and audit committee chair.

Gilmour Clausen

 Mr. Gilmour Clausen is Non-Executive Independent Director of Jaguar Minimg Inc., since May 12, 2005. Since 2005, Mr. Clausen has been employed as the Chief Executive Officer of Augusta Resource Corporation, a Canadian corporation. Prior to this position, he was the Executive Vice President, Mining, of Washington Group International, Inc., from 2001 to 2005. Mr. Clausen has 27 years experience in executive, operational, business development, project and engineering management in the mining industry. He has held senior positions with Stillwater Mining Company, Placer Dome Inc., Noranda, Fording Coal Limited and Cleveland Cliffs Inc. Mr. Clausen holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in mining engineering from Queen’s University.

Anthony Griffiths

 Mr. Anthony F. Griffiths is Non-Executive Independent Director of Jaguar Mining Inc since May 20, 2004. From 1993 to the present Mr. Griffiths has been associated with various companies acting as an independent consultant. At present, Mr. Griffiths is Director and Chairman of Russel Metals Inc. and Novadaq Technologies Inc. He is also a Director of Crum & Forster Holdings Corp., Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited, Bronco Energy Ltd., Northbridge Financial Corporation, Odyssey Re Holdings Corp., and Vitran Corporation and Trustee of The Brick Group Income Fund. Mr. Griffiths was educated at McGill University in Canada (BA 1954) and at the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration (MBA 1956).
