Jin, Baofang Mr. Baofang Jin has been Chief Executive Officer of JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. since August 3, 2009 and Chairman of the Board since June 30, 2009. He has served as Chairman of JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. since May 2005. Mr. Jin has been Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Jinglong Group since 2003. From April 1984 to January 1992, Mr. Jin was General Manager of Ningjin County Agricultural Equipment Company. He currently also serves as Vice Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference of Ningjin County. Mr. Jin graduated from Hebei Radio and TV University, China, with an Associate’s degree in 1996.
Chung, Ming Wai Ms. Ming Wai Anthea Chung has been Chief Financial Officer of JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. since January 5, 2009 . Ms. Chung has more than 16 years of financial management experience at public and private companies, including most recently the Chief Financial Officer position at Solar Enertech Corp., a public company that manufactures solar cells and solar modules in Shanghai and Menlo Park, Calif. There she had full responsibility for finance, investor relations and legal activities. She was also Vice President and Corporate Controller at RAE Systems in San Jose, Calif. for three years prior to being Chief Financial Officer at Enertech. At RAE Systems, which manufacturers and sells gas detection equipment, Ms. Chung was responsible for all financial statements and SEC filings, and directed the company's finance teams in the United States and in eight international locations. She has also been corporate controller at TLZ Inc. in Mountain View, Calif., a maker of laser measurement tools. She began her career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she rose from Associate to Audit Manager in her eight years there. Ms. Chung earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at Indiana University, and is a Certified Public Accountant in California.
Xie, Jian Mr. Jian Xie has been Vice President of Sales, Acting Chief Operating Officer, Director of JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. since August 3, 2009. Since joining JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. in April 2006, Mr. Xie has served in such capacities as the company's Director of Corporate Finance, Director of Investor Relations, Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer and Secretary of the Board of Directors. Prior to joining JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd., he worked in the investment banking department of Ping'an Securities Co., Ltd., and as an associate in the investment department at Dogain Holdings Group Co., Ltd. Jiang, Qingtang Dr. Qingtang Jiang has been Vice President of Operations of JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd since September 2007, and has been Acting Chief Technology Officer of the Company since December 21, 2007. He has over 15 years of experience in operation management, new product and technology development, and academic research at national laboratories in the United States. Prior to joining the Company, Dr. Jiang was Vice President of Technology and Development at Huahong NEC Semiconductor Corporation, a post he held from August 2005. From 2001 to 2005, he worked at Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation, where he was a senior director in charge of operations for Fab 3 and Fab 1. Prior to his return to China, Dr. Jiang worked for several semiconductor companies in the Unites States from 1994 to 2001, including Texas Instruments, National Semiconductor and Siliconix, in both technology development and manufacturing areas. Prior to 1994, he worked in the academic field, and served as a staff scientist at Superconducting Supercollider, a United States national laboratory. Dr. Jiang received his Master of Science degree and Doctorate in Philosophy degree from Rutgers University in the United States in 1989 and 1992, respectively, and his Bachelor of Science degree from Beijing University in China in 1985.
Li, Boping Mr. Boping Li has been Vice President at JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. since August 2009. Before that, he acted as Vice President and Manager of Equipment Department at JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. from March 2007 to October 2008. Liu, Yong Mr. Yong Liu has been Vice President at JA Solar Holding Co., Ltd. since August 2009. Mr. Liu has more than 15 years of operation management experience at semiconductor wafer and solar cell manufacturing facilities. Prior to joining JA Solar Holding Co., Ltd., he served as Fab Director at Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC), responsible for running three 12-inch wafer foundry fabs. Mr. Liu had held various management positions in Research and Development (R&D) and Manufacturing since joining SMIC in 2001. Yang, Ming Mr. Ming Yang has been Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Communications at JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. since January 15, 2009. Wilson, Raymond Mr. Raymond P. Wilson has been Managing Director of European Operations at JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. since June 30, 2009. He has joined JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. in September 2007 and acted as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at the Company. Mr. Wilson has 15 years experience in sales and marketing. Ren, Bingyan Mr. Bingyan Ren has been Director of JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. since May 2005. He also serves as Vice Chairman of Jinglong Group. Huang, Jiqing Mr. Jiqing Huang has been Independent Director of JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. since August 3, 2009. Mr. Huang has experience in the research and manufacturing of monocrystalline silicon and related products. Mr. Huang currently serves as Committee Member at the Academic Committee of Semi-conductive Materials of the Nonferrous Metals Society of China. From 2001 to 2007, he served as Chief Representative of the Beijing representative office of Space Energy Corporation, where he pioneered the introduction of the TDR-80 monocrystalline puller into China and subsequent modifications to improve its efficiency. Zhao, Yuwen Mr. Yuwen Zhao has been Independent Director of JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. since October 19, 2009. Mr. Zhao has experience in the study of high efficiency solar cell and solar energy materials. Currently, he serves as Vice Chairman of the Chinese Renewable Energy Industries Association and is Director of international solar energy industry associations such as PVSEC and WCPEC. Since 1978, Mr. Zhao has been Vice Chairman, Chief Engineer, Director of Academy Committee and Chief Scientist of Beijing Solar Energy Institute. He is also Member of the Editorial Board of Solar Energy Journal. Prior to his engagement at Beijing Solar Energy Institute, Mr. Zhao was a researcher in the Institute of Mechanics in the Chinese Academy of Sciences and 501 Institute of Ministry of Aerospace Industry. He is also Founder of Chinese National New Energy Engineering Research Center. Mr. Zhao graduated from Tianjin University in 1964 and studied in Germany in 1990 as well as 1991.
