Name Description

Peter Cowgill

 Mr. Peter A. Cowgill was appointed as Executive Chairman of the Board of JD Sports Fashion PLC. He was appointed Executive Chairman in March 2004. He was previously Finance Director of the Group until his resignation in June 2001. Since then he has been a partner in Cowgill Holloway Chartered Accountants. He is a Non-Executive Director of a number of private companies and Non-Executive Chairman of United Carpets Plc and MBL Group Plc.

Barry Bown

 Mr. Barry Bown is Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director of JD Sports Fashion PLC. He joined the Board in 2000 and has been with JD Sports Fashion Plc since 1984. He held the positions of Head of Retail, Head of Buying and Merchandising and Chief Operating Officer prior to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer in 2000.

Martin is currently Managing Director of Holidaybreak's Education Division, having joined the board in 2007 following Holidaybreak's acquisition of PGL and was Group Chief Executive from 2010 until its sale to Cox & Kings in 2012. Previously he joined PGL as Chief Executive in 2004 and went onto lead an MBO in 2005 and the subsequent sale of PGL to Holidaybreak in June 2007. Martin has experience in marketing and brand management having had roles with Allied Breweries, Kingfisher and Woolworth's. He was a non-executive director of GAME Group plc from July 2011 to March 2012.
