John Hanson |
Mr. John Nils Hanson is Independent Chairman of the Board of Joy Global Inc. He previously served as the President and Chief Executive Officer from 1999 to 2006. Mr. Hanson ran a series of industrial product and capital goods businesses before joining Joy Technologies Inc. in 1990, where he served as President of the Underground Mining Machinery Division until its acquisition in 1995. He has a Ph.D. in nuclear engineering/reactor physics. Mr. Hanson has also served as a director of Arrow Electronics, Inc. since 1998. |

Mr. Michael W. Sutherlin is no longer President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Joy Global Inc., effective December 2013. Mr. Edward L. Doheny, II, has been appointed as the President, Chief Executive Officer of Joy Global Inc., effective December 2013. He is no longer Executive Vice President of the Company and President and Chief Operating Officer of Joy Mining Machinery, a subsidiary of the Company, effective December 2013. He has served as Executive Vice President of Joy Global and as President and COO of the Underground Mining Equipment division since 2006.
