Elisio Alexandre Soares dos Santos

 Mr. Elisio Alexandre Soares dos Santos has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jeronimo Martins SGPS SA since February 1996. He was previously also Chief Executive Officer of the Company between 1968 and 2004. He has also been Chairman of the Evaluation and Nominations Committee of the Company since April 2010. He has been President of the Group since 1996. He is also Chairman of the Board of Curators of Fundacao Francisco Manuel dos Santos, Director of Sindcom - Sociedade de Investimento na Industria e Comercio SGPS SA, Director of Sociedade Francisco Manuel dos Santos SGPS SA and Director of Sindcom - Sociedade Imobiliaria SA. He began his professional career in 1957, when he joined Unilever. From 1964 to 1967, he acted as Marketing Director for Unilever Brasil. In 1968, he joined the Company as Chief Executive Officer, a post he combined with being Representative of Jeronimo Martins in the Joint Venture with Unilever. He attended the Lisbon Law University.

 Mr. Jose Manuel da Silveira e Castro Soares dos Santos has served as Member of the Board of Directors of Jeronimo Martins SGPS SA since 2004. Until January 1, 2012, he was Member of the Financial Matters Committee of the Company. He has also served as Member of the Committee of Corporate Responsibility and Member of the Evaluation and Nominations Committee since April 2010. From 1995 to 2000, he was Member of the Board of Directors of Jeronimo Martins SGPS SA and was responsible for VMPS and Jeronimo Martins Distribuicao de Produtos de Consumo. He was Member of the Executive Committee of Jeronimo Martins and Responsible for the Industry and Marketing Services and Representations areas until 2009. In September 1985, he started his professional career at SVEA LAB AB, subsequently working with Url Colworth between March 1987 and June 1988. He graduated in Economics from Universidade Catolica Portuguesa in 1980. Moreover, he received a postgraduate degree in European Economics from Universidade Catolica Portuguesa in 1981 and a Masters of Business Administration degree from INSEAD in 1983.

 Mr. Hans Eggerstedt has served as Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of Jeronimo Martins SGPS SA since June 29, 2001. He has been Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Company since 2007. He is Member of the Supervisory Board of Unilever Deutschland Gmbh, Non-Executive Director of Colt Group SA, Member of the Advisory Board of Amsterdam Institute of Finance and Member of the Supervisory Board of Jeronimo Martins Duystrybucja SA. He joined Unilever in 1964, where he has spent his entire career.  Mr. Antonio Mendo Castel-Branco Borges has served as Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of Jeronimo Martins SGPS SA since March 30, 2012. Between June 29, 2001 and December 31, 2010, he held the same position at the Company. He is Manager of International Monetary Fund for Europe. He attended INSEAD in 1980. In 1990, he was nominated Vice Governor of the Portuguese Central Bank and, in 1995, he was named Dean of INSEAD. He was also Lecturer at Universidade Catolica and Stanford University and Consultant to the Treasury Department of the United States of America, the OECD and the Portuguese Government. He has held various administrative posts, including at Citibank Portugal, Petrogal, Vista Alegre, Paribas and Sonae. He was Vice President of Goldman Sachs from 2000 to 2008. He holds a Doctorate in Philosophy in Economics, as well as a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the Stanford University. Moreover, he received a degree in Economics from Universidade Tecnica de Lisboa in 1972.
