Rainer Erlat

Mr. Rainer Erlat was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Kontron AG from June 5, 2013 to November 30, 2016. He is Member of the Supervisory Board of EMC International Ltd, Partner of redpartners GmbH. He was Chairman of the Company's Nomination and Strategy Committee.

Sten Daugaard

Mr. Sten Daugaard is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Management Board at Kontron AG effective July 25, 2016. He was Member of the Supervisory Board at the Company from June 5, 2013 to July 25, 2016. He has held various management positions in his home country, the US, and Germany, and has extensive experience with restructuring companies. He served as Member of the Board of SGL Carbon AG and was later part of the turnaround of LEGO Group as Group Chief Financial Officer. In 2012, Sten Daugaard was Chief Development Officer and Member of the Executive Board of Pandora A/S in Denmark.

Thomas Riegler

Mr. Thomas Riegler is Interim Chief Financial Officer, Member of the Management Board at Kontron AG effective July 25, 2016. He was Interim Chief Financial Officer at the Company from June 3, 2016 to July 25, 2016. Born in Graz, Thomas Riegler studied business administration and has accumulated more than 20 years of professional experience in the field of financial management. He worked for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and held top international management positions in the Daimler Group. For example, he contributed his expertise to the restructuring of Chrysler, and served as CFO of Mercedes-Benz Belgium Luxembourg N.V. Subsequently he spent three years as the CFO of the publicly listed company Centrotherm Photovoltaics AG, and most recently as CFO and Commercial Director of Spheros Holding GmbH.

Bernhard Braunmueller

Mr. Bernhard Braunmueller is Chief Operating Officer of Kontron AG. He has experience as entrepreneur, manager and management consultant. Before he joined Kontron, he was an Equity Partner and Member of the Management Board at the international consultancy Q_PERIOR AG where he headed the business division Customer Management and served as the Chief Marketing Officer. During his years as management consultant at Computer Sciences Corporation and the international strategy consultancy Droege&Comp. AG, he gained experience in the planning and implementation of change initiatives at global high-tech corporations. From 2012 to 2014 Mr. Braunmueller was responsible for Corporate Strategy & Business Development of the Kontron Group and acted as Managing Director of Kontron Europe GmbH. He holds a doctorate in Natural Sciences and a diploma in Computer Sciences from Universitaet Muenchen and a Master in Business Administration of the University of Warwick.

Corinna Refsgaard

Ms. Corinna Refsgaard is Chief Human Resource Officer of Kontron AG. Prior to her position at Kontron she held the position as Senior Vice President Human Resources at Fujitsu Technology Solutions and spent ten years at EADS (since September 2010 Cassidian) in different international management roles in Human Resources including those of Vice President Head of Human Resources Defense and Communications Systems, Vice President Human Resources Integrated Systems, Vice President Human Resources Global Security. She began her career in 1991 at Mercedes-Benz/DaimlerChrysler AG. In 1995 she took over the position as Head of Human Resources for the site in Munich and changed 1999 to the position Human Resources strategy and planning for the passenger car sector worldwide. She holds a diploma in Business studies from Hochschule Pforzheim, Germany.

Robert Courteau

Mr. Robert Courteau is Executive Vice President Business Unit Communications (COM) of Kontron AG since 2013. He also manages the unit’s business development, product management, sales support, program management, services, and solution engineering functions. Mr. Courteau has been with Kontron since 2000, initially leading program management and services, and subsequently managing the Kontron Canadian subsidiary. He then headed North American operations for Kontron from 2010 to 2013. Prior to joining Kontron, he held a series of management positions at CAE. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universite Laval in Quebec City.

Kevin Rhoads

Mr. Kevin Rhoads is Executive Vice President Business Unit Avionics, Transportation & Defense (ATD) at Kontron AG. He acts as General Manager of Kontron America. His responsibilities include Global P&L, Business Line Management, Business Development, Solutions Engineering and Product/Program management and oversight. He joined Kontron in 2005 and acted in several positions including Vice President of Business Development, Head of EPBU Business Unit and Vice President of Sales. Before joining Kontron, he worked 15 years at ETMA/TFS as the Vice President of Sales in contract manufacturing and supply chain. He holds a degree from Gonzaga University.

Marcel Van Helten

Mr. Marcel Van Helten is Executive Vice President Business Unit Industrial (IND) at Kontron AG since September 2013. He spent over 25 years in the Industrial Automation and embedded computer business. He joined Kontron from General Electric where he spent the last 15 years in a range of international roles, among others as Global Manager Infrastructure, China Marketing Leader and, most recently, as Managing Director Intelligent Platforms GmbH in Germany. He earned his Computer Engineering degree in Breda and his Business Administration degree in Rotterdam.

Jens Wiegand

Mr. Jens Wiegand is Chief Technology Officer of Kontron AG since May 21, 2014. He joined Kontron in January 2014. Prior to that, he worked at Wind River in several senior management positions, overseeing strategically Industrial & Car, Aerospace & Defense and Communication verticals. He drove the incubation of IoT (internet of things) and M2M (machine to machine) investments and started new businesses at Wind River. He is also tightly connected to the North American embedded high-tech sector and M2M/IoT standardization bodies. Further past Mr. Wiegand joined Motorola as a result of Motorola’s acquisition of Force Computers. While at Force Computers, he kept several management positions and headed up their Strategic Marketing, with responsibilities in the areas of strategic planning, portfolio planning and investment. Following a career which started at EADS (Airbus Defense & Space) and spans more than two decades in the high-tech industry, he was holding various management positions.

Katrin Kerschbaumer

Ms. Katrin Kerschbaumer is Head of Legal & Compliance at Kontron AG since 2015. She has experience from law firms and as in-house counsel. After her Legal State Exams at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitaet in Munich, she worked for several years in international law firms such as Norton Rose and Taylor Wessing gaining experience in particular in M&A transactions. In 2010, she took over the position as Corporate Counsel in the legal department of Kabel Deutschland right after the company’s IPO and advised it through a public takeover until the request to delist. In addition to several responsibilities related to M&A activities, restructurings, financing operations, corporate housekeeping and legal assistance of the corporate finance and tax department Ms. Kerschbaumer was responsible for capital market law and supervisory board matters.

Mr. Martin Bertinchamp was Member of the Supervisory Board of Kontron AG from June 5, 2013 to November 30, 2016. He was Member of the Audit, Strategy Committee and the Nomination Committee at the Company. He is Chairman of the Management Board of COMPO GmbH & Co. KG and Member of the Supervisory Board of Huber Packaging GmbH, among others.
