Name Description

Teik Huat Ooi

Mr. Ooi Teik Huat serves as Chief Financial Officer of Kian Joo Can Factory Bhd since July 13, 2012. He is member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. His working experience covers finance, accounting and corporate functions. Currently, he is Executive Director of Can-One Berhad. Prior to this, he was actively involved in his own consultancy and secretarial firms which provide financial management, accounting and secretarial services to several private limited companies and public listed companies which are in the manufacturing, trading and construction industries. He previously worked for Messrs KPMG, Penang for several years.

Khay Leong Chee

Mr. Chee Khay Leong serves as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of Kian Joo Can Factory Bhd since July 10, 2012. He has Malaysian Certificate of Education. He oversees the implementation of the Group’s broad operational strategies and policies, operations, management and performance of the Group. He has extensive experience in the management of manufacturing facilities, marketing and business development having been with Can-One group of companies since 1977. Prior to joining Kian Joo, he was the Chief Operating Officer cum Executive Director of Can-One. He resigned from Can-One on 22 November 2013. He is an Executive Director of the listed subsidiary, Box-Pak.

Jin Hoe Yeoh

Mr. Yeoh Jin Hoe serves as Managing Director and Executive Director of Kian Joo Can Factory Berhad since July 10, 2012. He is responsible for the development of the corporate goals and objectives of the Group and the setting of strategies to achieve them. He is also a member of the Remuneration Committee. He has extensive experience in the manufacturing and trading industries. He was the former Managing Director of Can-One Berhad (“Can-One”), a major shareholder of Kian Joo, and which is listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities. Under his leadership and guidance, Can-One group of companies have expanded its core business to several other businesses. He was instrumental for the acquisition by Can-One of its significant interest in Kian Joo. He is currently a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Can-One. He is also the founder of several companies which are involved in the manufacturing sector. These companies manufacture and sell branded mattresses and other sleep related products; food products such as instant noodles and food seasonings; and distribution of sanitary wares, ironmongery, locks and builders’ hardware. Currently, he is also an Executive Director of subsidiary company, Box-Pak (Malaysia) Bhd (“Box-Pak”), which is listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities.

Bee Keng Tan

Ms. Tan Bee Keng has been Company Secretary of Kian Joo Can Factory Berhad since April 1, 2016, after being its Joint Secretary since July 10, 2012. She has been the Company Secretary of OCB Berhad since 2001 and Can-One Berhad since 2004.

Syed Hussain Bin Syed Husman

Dato Dr. Syed Hussain Bin Syed Husman has been Non-Executive Independent Director at KIAN JOO CAN FACTORY BHD since April 30, 2015. He holds a Bachelor in Business Studies degree and a Masters in Business Administration from Western Illinois University, Illinois, United States of America ("USA"), and has a Doctorate of Philosophy in Labour Relations from Warnborough University, London, United Kingdom. He also attended the Senior Management Development Program at Harvard Business School, USA in 2002. He is a Fellow member of the Malaysian Institute of Human Resources ("HR") Management, a Justice of Peace and an Associate member of the Commonwealth Magistrates and Judges Association. He is a Council Member of the Malaysian Employers Federation, member of the National Skills Council and National Labour Advisory Council, Chairman of Putra Business School and sits on the Board of Universiti Putra Malaysia. He was with Procter & Gamble, Malaysia/Singapore as HR and External Affairs Director (1992-1997), Rothmans of Pall Mall (Malaysia) Berhad (1997-2000) and British American Tobacco (Malaysia) Berhad (2000-2004) as Director-HR,Public Relations and Security Affairs. He joined Ramunia Holdings Bhd (2006-2008) as Group Director-HR,Communications and Information Technology,and Petrofield (M) Sdn Bhd (2008-2010) as Group Director-HR,Corporate Affairs and Government Affairs. He is currently the Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer of SVT Resources Sdn Bhd since June 2011.

Zain Al-Abidin ibni Tuanku Muhriz

Y.A.M. Tunku Zain Al-Abidin Ibni Tuanku Muhriz is Independent Non-Executive Director of Kian Joo Can Factory Bhd since July 5, 2013. He has also been appointed as a member of the Company's Audit Committee. He holds Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and a Master of Science in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom. He is a Trustee of Yayasan Munarah, Yayasan Chow Kit and the Jeffrey Cheah Foundation. He is Founding President of the Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS), Kuala Lumpur and Research Fellow of CIMB ASEAN Research Institute (CARI), Kuala Lumpur. He is also a columnist and writes for the Malay Mail, Borneo Post and Oriental Daily. He served as a research fellow in the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. Prior to that, he was a political researcher at KRA Group, Kuala Lumpur and was a consultant at the World Bank, Washington DC. He is also an Honorary Major of Regiment 508 Askar Wataniah (Territorial Army), Malaysia.

E-Lene Kee

Ms. Kee E-Lene has been Non-Executive Independent Director at KIAN JOO CAN FACTORY BHD since May 19, 2015. She holds an LLB (Honours) degree from the University of Nottingham, England and was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales and the Malaysian Bar in 1991 and 1993 respectively. She worked mainly in corporate law, and went on in the 1990s to co-found an advisory firm KEEGROUP Sdn Bhd, which focuses on property development, retail, education and technology. Her past notable projects include her appointment as Director, Business Development of CITTA Mall, Ara Damansara, Senior VP of Asian Regional Management Sdn Bhd, as alternate director on the board of directors of SEG International Berhad and as Special Projects Director of PRIME College, all of which she was actively involved in.

Kean Teong Lee

Mr. Lee Kean Teong has been Non-Executive Independent Director at KIAN JOO CAN FACTORY BHD since May 19, 2015. Mr Lee qualified as a Chartered Accountant of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and is a member of Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) and a Fellow member of Certified Practising Accountants (CPA) Australia. He has been with KPMG Malaysia for over 35 years and was a Partner with KPMG until his retirement on 31 December 2014. He has extensive experience in auditing and management consulting throughout his career. He was the engagement partner for a wide range of companies which include public listed companies and multinationals in various industries, mainly in manufacturing, property development and construction, hotel, stock broking and financial institutions. He is Director at Oriental Holdings Berhad.

Siew Kwok Mah

Dato' Mah Siew Kwok is Independent Non-Executive Director of Kian Joo Can Factory Bhd since July 18, 2013. He is also the Chairman of the Nomination Committee and a member of the Audit Committee. Dato’ Mah founded Messrs Mah & Partners in 1975 and was Senior Partner of the firm specialising in Corporate Law, Banking Law as well as Land Law. Dato’ Mah remained in practice for 10 years before venturing into the commercial sector where he was the Managing Director of South Malaysia Industries Berhad from 1983 to 1994. Since 1994, Dato’ Mah has been involved in the Information Technology business where his last executive role was as Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Formis Resources Berhad. Dato’ Mah is currently the Vice Chairman of Formis Resources Berhad, the Chairman of Diversified Gateway Solutions Berhad and a Director of Ho Hup Construction Company Berhad. He is also the Deputy Chairman of Chong Hwa Independent High School.

Rajaretnam Soloman

Mr. Rajaretnam Soloman Daniel has been Non-Executive Independent Director at KIAN JOO CAN FACTORY BHD since April 30, 2015. He holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) degree from University of Malaya and a Masters in Business Administration from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, United Kingdom under scholarship from United Asian Bank Berhad (UAB) (now known as CIMB Bank Berhad). He has over 33 years of experience in the banking industry particularly, in the area of credit management, having served as Group Chief Credit Officer in EON Bank Group (EON) and RHB Bank Group (RHB) previously. During his tenure with EON and RHB, he sat in several committees in the aforesaid banks namely, Credit Committee, Management Committee, Credit Recovery Committee, Risk Management Committee, Risk Assessment Committee, Base II Steering Committee, ALCO and IT Steering Committee. He also served as director in several subsidiaries of RHB Banking Group. Currently, he holds directorship in private companies involved in property development and commissioning.
