Naquiyuddin Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Ja'afar

Y.A.M. Tunku Naquiyuddin Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Ja'afar serves as Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Kian Joo Can Factory Berhad since November 30, 2009. He is also the Chairman of Remuneration Committee and Nomination Committee. Y.A.M. Tunku Naquiyuddin read International Politics at the University of Wales in Aberystwyth and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Economics from the same college. He served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was posted as the 2nd Secretary with the Malaysian Embassy in Paris. Tunku later headed Antah Holdings Berhad as its Chairman, a position held till 2007, which was vacated for a 5 year period during his tenure as the Regent of Negeri Sembilan from 1994 to 1999. Tunku was also a Council Member of the Business Council for Sustainable Development, a Geneva-based organization, Founder and Head of the Federation of Public Listed Companies and Committee Member of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange. Y.A.M. Tunku Naquiyuddin is presently Chairman of Sino Hua-an International Berhad, Olympia Industries Berhad and sits on the Boards of Ann Joo Resources Berhad and Orix Leasing Malaysia Berhad.

Teik Huat Ooi

Mr. Ooi Teik Huat serves as Chief Financial Officer of Kian Joo Can Factory Bhd since July 13, 2012. He is member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. His working experience covers finance, accounting and corporate functions. Currently, he is Executive Director of Can-One Berhad. He has experience in the management of manufacturing facilities, and in the development, sales and marketing of new businesses, having been one of the longest serving staff members of Aik Joo Can Factory Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Can-One Berhad, since 1977. Mr. Yeoh Jin Hoe serves as Managing Director and Executive Director of Kian Joo Can Factory Berhad since July 10, 2012. Prior to Yeoh’s re-designation, he was the Executive Director of Kian Joo Can Factory Berhad. He has experience in the manufacturing and trading industries, having been the founder of several companies involved in such businesses. He has qualifications from Malayan Teachers’ Training College. Currently, he is also an Executive Director of Box-Pak (Malaysia) Berhad, a subsidiary company of Kian Joo, which is listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, and sits on the board of Can-One as Non-Independent Non-Executive Director.

Teow Guan See

Dato’ See (Anthony) Teow Guan serves as Executive Director of Kian Joo Can Factory Berhad since January 1, 1972. He completed his Senior Cambridge education in Singapore and moved immediately to Malaysia to work with the Company. He has over 49 years of experience in the packaging industry. In 1974, he initiated the set up of Box-Pak (Malaysia) Bhd, a subsidiary company of Kian Joo Can Factory Berhad, and serves as the Managing Director. It was listed on the Bursa Malaysia Main Board in 1996. In 1993, he was awarded the “Manager of the Year 1992” by Harvard Business School Alumni Club of Malaysia. He was the President of the Malaysian Tin Can Manufacturers Association (MTCMA) until June 2004. He also sits on the Board of several private limited companies.

Teow Koon See

Mr. See Teow Koon serves as Executive Director of Kian Joo Can Factory Berhad since October 8, 1974. He completed his technical studies in Singapore Institute of Technology and in 1967, he furthered his studies in Japan specializing in metal printing and can manufacturing. Subsequently in 1970 he was appointed as Factory Manager of the Company. He has over 45 years of experience in the packaging industry in particular metal printing and can manufacturing. He is the Executive Director of Box-Pak (Malaysia) Berhad, since 1983.

He is Founding President of the Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS), Kuala Lumpur and Research Fellow of CIMB ASEAN Research Institute (CARI), Kuala Lumpur. He is also a columnist and writes for the Malay Mail, Borneo Post and Oriental Daily. He served as a research fellow in the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. Prior to that, he was a political researcher at KRA Group, Kuala Lumpur and was a consultant at the World Bank, Washington DC. He is also an Honorary Major of Regiment 508 Askar Wataniah (Territorial Army), Malaysia.

Siew Kwok Mah

Dato’ Mah Siew Kwok is Independent Non-Executive Director of Kian Joo Can Factory Bhd. Dato' Mah founded Messrs Mah & Partners in 1975 and was Senior Partner of the firm specialising in Corporate Law, Banking Law as well as Land Law. Dato' Mah remained in practice for ten (10) years before venturing into the commercial sector where he was the Managing Director of South Malaysia Industries Berhad from 1983 to 1994. Since 1994, Dato’ Mah has been involved in the Information Technology business where his last executive role was as Executive Vice Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Formis Resources Berhad. Dato' Mah is currently a Non-Executive Vice Chairman of Formis Resources Berhad and Director of Ho Hup Construction Company Berhad. He is also the Deputy Chairman of Chong Hwa Independent High School. He is a Barrister-at-Law, Lincoln’s Inn, London, 1972. He is a member of the Audit Committee and Chairman of the Nomination Committee.

Guan Cheong Tan

Dato' Tan (Michael) Guan Cheong is Independent Non-Executive Director of Kian Joo Can Factory Bhd since July 5, 2013. He has also been appointed as Chairman of the Company's Audit Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Otago University, New Zealand, majoring in economics, marketing management and accountancy. He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants since 1983. He has worked in international audit firms, Messrs Coopers & Lybrand (now known as PricewaterhouseCoopers) in New Zealand and Malaysia. He has more than 20 years experience in the field of financial services. He also hold directorship at YTL Cement Berhad and Hartalega Holdings Berhad.
