Name Description

Sin Liu Ang

Mr. Ang Sin Liu has been appointed as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Koon Holdings Ltd since April 27, 2012. His is the founder and advisor of ASL Marine Holdings Limited. Mr. Ang is an astute businessman with diverse business interest including the trading of scrapped steel material, building construction works, property leasing, shipbuilding and ship repair.

Yin Yen Tan

Ms. Tan Yin Yen (Lilian) is Chief Financial Officer of Koon Holdings Ltd effective November 18, 2013. She holds a Bachelors degree from the National University of Singapore (1984). She was Group Financial Controller of SP Corporation Ltd from April 2002 until June 2006. In July 2006 she was appointed as Group Financial Controller of ASL Marine Holdings Ltd. She held the position until December 2011 when she was appointed Chief Financial Officer of ecoWise Holdings Ltd.

Ben Tan

Mr. Ben Tan is Chief Executive Officer (Electric Power Generation Division) of Koon Holdings Ltd. Ben co-founded the Tesla Group of Companies in 2008 as CEO and Managing Director. Ben is currently responsible for the running of the Tesla Group companies which includes the operating power station facilities at Picton, Kemerton, Geraldton and Northam and development of various new projects. He has previous experience in Electrical Engineering and Investment Banking. He is a current member of the Market Advisory Committee of the Independent Market Operator of Western Australia – the peak Advisory Board in the West Australian Electricity Market. Ben holds Bachelor Degrees in Electrical Engineering (Honours), Science and Commerce, a Graduate Diploma in Finance and Investment and a Masters in Business Administration.

Mr. Dennis Yong is Group Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director (Property Division) of Koon Holdings Ltd. Dennis joined the Group in 2011 as Group CEO and Executive Director (Property Division). He has more than 14 years of experience in the real estate industry. Dennis Yong is a prominent figure in this industry, counting many high-profile individuals among his corporate and personal clients. He oversees the entire operations of GPS Group of Companies. Before joining the real estate sector, he spent 10 years managing companies that dealt in interior design, designer furniture, building materials (import and export) and landed property construction. Dennis has a diploma in building from the Singapore Polytechnic and a BSc in Real Estate Management from Heriot-Watt University in the UK.

Kai Wing Yuen

Mr. Yuen Kai Wing is Managing Director and Executive Director of Koon Holdings Ltd since November 18, 2013. He has been appointed to the position of Executive Director of the Company with effect from April 27, 2012. He served as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Yuen joined the Group in April 2012 and brought with him more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Before joining the Company, Mr. Yuen was the Regional Manager of North East Asia, Van Oord NV. and the General Manager of Van Oord (Shanghai) Dredging Co. Ltd. He was responsible for business and operations in the Region of North East Area including countries of Eastern Part of Russia, Japan, Korea and Greater China such as Taiwan, China, Macau and Hong Kong. Mr. Yuen has a Master of Business Administration from the China Europe International Business School in China and a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from Hogeschool Utrecht in Netherlands.

Jessie Ong

Ms. Jessie Ong serves as the General Manager - Precast Division of Koon Holdings Ltd since 2010 . She has more than 30 years of experience in the construction and precast industry. She had worked with Econ Group since 1979, holding various appointments within the Group. She oversees a team of managers, managing the various projects undertaken by the Group’s precast division and is also in-charge of developing and promoting business opportunities with existing and potential clients, suppliers and sub-contractors. Jessie has a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Civil Engineering from Glasgow University, UK.

Weng Kee Chew

Mr. Chew Weng Kee serves as Deputy General Manager (Construction Division) of Koon Holdings Ltd. He joined the Group in 1989 as a Civil Engineer. His role then was to handle all matters related to the construction project. He was subsequently promoted to the position of Project Manager before being promoted to the position of Senior Project Manager in year 2009. His responsibility is to oversee larger and more complex construction projects. Currently, Weng Kee is appointed as the Acting Deputy General Manager overseeing the local construction operations. Weng Kee has a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from The National University of Singapore.

Keng Lim Oh

Mr. Oh Keng Lim serves as an Executive Director of Koon Holdings Ltd since 2006. He joined the predecessor to Koon in 1976, when the sole proprietorship was preparing for its conversion into a private partnership in 1977. Before this Keng Lim was involved in several trading ventures. Over the last 27 years, Keng Lim has been involved in the project accounting, administration and risk controls of the Company. He has since devolved many of his day-to-day duties and now primarily serves in a supervisory and oversight capacity. He is the main contact person for, and oversees the Company’s interest in Entire Engineering. is familiar with all aspects of the Group’s businesses, particularly with the Company’s many suppliers.

Koon Sun Oh

Mr. Oh Koon Sun serves as Executive Director of Koon Holdings Ltd. He co-founded the predecessor to the Company in 1975. The predecessor was a sole proprietorship involved in the business of transporting stone and rocks. He was in charge of that sole proprietorship, namely as a subcontractor for Obayashi on the East Coast V reclamation. Prior to founding the sole proprietorship, Koon Sun was involved in the family’s trading business. His hands-on experience in trading and deep familiarity of local businesses, benefits, as his principal task at the Company is the negotiation of quantity, quality and price of stone, rock, equipments, tugs & barges, with selected subcontractors and for the sourcing of consumables.

Juslene Aw

Ms. Juslene Aw serves as Group Human Resource & Administration Manager of Koon Holdings Ltd since 2008. She joined the Group in 1990 as a Project Administrative Officer. Her role then was to handling all administrative works, including staff and workers welfare, and providing support to the Project Manager. After several years of site experience, she was transferred to the head office where she was tasked to handle the corporate administration works which includes IT infrastructure and human resources for the construction division. In 2008, she was promoted to the position of Group HR and Admin Manager handling all corporate administration works for the Group of companies. She has both a Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Singapore Human Resources Institute and a Diploma in Business Administration from the Productivity and Standards Board.

Eng Leong Hong

Mr. Hong (Jeffrey) Eng Leong is Group Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director (Property Division) of Koon Holdings Ltd. Jeffrey joined the Group in 2011 as Group COO and Executive Director (Property Division). He has more than 18 years of experience and an acknowledged trailblazer and trendsetter in the Real Estate Industry. Jeffrey oversees the entire operations of GPS Group of Companies. Jeffrey’s much-envied foresight in the local property scene has made him extremely popular with the local media, and resulted in numerous requests for interviews from The Straits Times, The Business Times, Lianhe Zaobao and Channel NewsAsia. Jeffrey has a Master of Science in Marketing from the Baruch College at The City University of New York.

Wing Kiong Yew

Mr. Yew (Michael) Wing Kiong is Executive Director (Precast Division) of Koon Holdings Ltd. He has joined the Precast Division as Executive Director since 2009. With 15 years of experience, Michael has knowledge on the precast concrete industry. Michael’s insight has been instrumental in expanding the Precast Division. His key areas of experience encompass both operational aspect and strategic planning for the Division. Heading all business development activities within the Precast Division, he is in charge of formulating expansion strategies for both existing and new markets. Michael graduated with a Bachelor in Engineering (Civil & Structural Engineering) from Nanyang Technological University in 1998.

Mr. Ang Ah Nui has been appointed as Non-Executive Director of Koon Holdings Ltd with effect from April 27, 2012. He is member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees. Mr. Ang Ah Nui joined the Group in April 2012 and brought with him more than 20 years of experience and marine industry knowledge. Mr. Ang Ah Nui is the Deputy Managing Director of ASL Marine Holdings Limited. His core responsibilities for ASL Marine Group include the Group’s business strategies and direction, corporate plans and policies, and general management of the Group’s ship repair and conversion and ship chartering operations, including business development and operations.

Mr. Chong (Christopher) Meng Tak serves as Independent Non-Executive Director of Koon Holdings Ltd since April 11, 2003. He is Chairman of the Audit and Remuneration Committees and a Member of the Nominating Committee. Christopher is a resident of Australia and a partner of ACH Investments Pte Ltd., a specialist corporate advisory firm regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Prior to cofounding ACH Investments Pte Ltd, Christopher was a multi-award winning analyst and the Managing Director of HSBC James Capel Securities (Singapore) Pte Ltd (now known as HSBC Securities (Singapore) Pte Ltd), a member of the HongkongBank Group of companies. Christopher has experience in corporate governance and corporate affairs. Christopher is also a Director of 5 other public companies and funds listed on the Australian, Hong Kong and Singapore Stock Exchanges and on the advisory board of the Centre for Stewardship and Corporate Governance. Chuan Aun Ko

Mr. Ko Chuan Aun serves as Non-Executive Independent Director of Koon Holdings Ltd since January 16, 2012. He is a Member of the Nominating Committee. Mr. Ko is currently the Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director of Scorpio East Holdings Ltd. Prior to that, Mr. Ko was the Executive Chairman of Athena Corporation Pte Ltd. Prior to joining Athena Corporation Pte Ltd, he was the Executive President, International Business Development of Ananda Group of Companies. He has more than 15 years of working experience with the then Trade Development Board of Singapore (“TDB”). His last appointment with then TDB was Head of China Operations. Mr. Ko also holds chairmanships and directorships in various private and public companies. Mr. Ko was appointed as an Independent Director of Super Group Ltd and San Teh Ltd on 8 November 2006, and 16 August 2010 respectively. Mr. Ko holds a Diploma in Export Marketing, which is equivalent to Danish Niels Brock International Business Degree Programme. In the past 20 years, Mr. Ko has been very actively involved in business investments in the PRC market. In year 2001, Mr. Ko was appointed as a Member of the Steering Committee of the Network China. Between the year 2003 to 2005, Mr. Ko served as the Chairman of the Tourism Sub-Committee under the Singapore-Sichuan Trade & Investment Committee. In addition, Mr. Ko also serves as Investment Advisor to the Fushun Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation Bureau.

Glenda Sorrell-Saunders

Ms. Glenda Mary Sorrell-Saunders serves as Non-Executive Independent Director of Koon Holdings Ltd since . She is the Managing Director of Matrix Management Group Pty Ltd, a Project Management and Quantity Surveying firm with operations in Victoria and Tasmania. Prior to co-founding Matrix Management Group, she worked as a Director, with Rawlinson (Aust) Pty. Ltd. She started her professional life with Farrow Laing and Partners in South Africa. Glenda has considerable experience in industrial and civil projects including: infrastructure work for Australia Post; Sasol’s oil from coal project; steelprocessing plants; and on coal, diamond & gold mines. She also lectured at the University of the Witwatersrand in the Faculty of Architecture during the 1990’s prior to her immigration to Australia. She has a Bachelor of Science (Quantity Surveying) from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa and is a Tasmanian Division Councillor of the Property Council of Australia. She is also a member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors.
