Name Description

Freada Cheung

Mme. Freada Cheung serves as Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of Kazakhstan Potash Corp Ltd since September 13, 2013. She was first appointed as Chairman on November 21, 2011. She has experience in the mining industry, clean energy and agricultural resources segments. She currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of Dromana Estate Limited and Mornington Winery Group Limited in Australia.

Jiau Wei

Mr. Wei Jiau is Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director of the Company. Mr. Wei has over thirty years’ experience in business management. As a leader of one of the Global 500 companies, he has great foresight as well as rich experience in international corporate management together with an in-depth understanding of capital markets. He had been the CEO and Chairman of the Board of China COSCO Holdings Company Limited and Vice Chairman of China Merchants Bank Co., Ltd. Mr. Wei has also held numerous directorship and senior management roles in a number of listed companies in Singapore, Hong Kong and China. During his career, Mr. Wei has also been a leader in various organisations, most notably Chairman of China Association of Trade in Services, the China Shipowners Association, the China Federation of Industrial Economics and China Group Companies Association. Furthermore, he Co-Chaired the World Economic Forum in 2011 and was a Member of the Board of Directors of the Boao Forum for Asia and a Member of the Harvard Business School Asia-Pacific Advisory Board. Mr. Wei is a graduate of Wuhan University of Technology, he obtained his Master’s Degree in Shipping Management from Dalian Maritime University and his Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) in Ship and Ocean Structural Design from Tianjin University.

Marco Marcou

Mr. Marco Marcou serves as Executive Director and Company Secretary of Kazakhstan Potash Corp Ltd, formerly Fortis Mining Ltd, since September 10, 2012. He was appointed as Executive Director on December 28, 2011. He has over 25 years of managerial, consulting and advisory experience in Australia, the USA and Asia. He has experience in the areas of telecommunications, information technology, broadcasting and the resources sector. He has held a number of senior management positions in the telecommunications and software sectors and worked for Deloitte Consulting (Australia & Hong Kong). In 2004, he was a joint founder and Director of MAP Capital Advisors. He holds a Master of Business Administration (Swinburne University of Technology) and a Bachelor of Arts (the University of Melbourne). He was a Non-Executive Director of ET-china.com International Holdings Limited.

Hiroshi Kaneko

Dr. Hiroshi Kaneko has served as Executive Director at Kazakhstan Potash Corporation Limited since July 23, 2014. He attended Dalian University of Technology and Fudan University in PRC, and holds a PhD in advanced science and technology from University of Tokyo in Japan. Dr. Kaneko has experience in founding, organizing and managing multinational corporations internationally.

Baolin Wang

Mr. Baolin Wang has been appointed as Director of Kazakhstan Potash Corp Ltd., with effect from April 17, 2014. Mr. Wang joined the Beijing subsidiary of KPC in May 2013 as Head of Project Management and is responsible for the formation and management of the Company’s project team, prior to this held the role of general manager at China Non- Ferrous Metal Industry’s Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. (NFC). Mr Wang brings to the Board considerable experience in the management and development of mining projects through his successful leadership at NFC. NFC has two main businesses, namely nonferrous metal resource mining and project contracting on a global basis. In his role at NFC, Mr. Wang oversaw the development and production of mines in Middle East, Central Asia and Africa in conjunction with t his role he led the listing of NFC on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Mr. Wang has more than 40 years of experience in the field and is well respected among the mining development industry and financial industry.

Edward Wen

Mr. Edward Wen serves as Non-Executive Director of Kazakhstan Potash Corp Ltd, formerly Fortis Mining Ltd, since November 19, 2011. From 1993 to 2000, he was an investment banker in several global investment banking houses in New York, first at J&W Seligman and the Nomura Securities. From 2001 to 2008, he has been served as President of Genes Capital Group, a US-based merchant banking company which provided financing for companies. Since 2008, he founded and managed several private equity funds. He holds an MBA degree from Stern School of Business of New York University.

JunMei Zhang

Ms. JunMei Zhang serves as Non-Executive Director of Kazakhstan Potash Corp Ltd since October 20, 2012. She has over 17 years of finance and accounting experience both in Australia and internationally, with financial and operational experiences and a range of practical skills across a number of industries, including banking and finance, construction, IT and HR management. She studied Bachelor of Economics at the China Institute of Banking and Finance and earned Master of Accounting from Macquarie University. She is also a member of CPA Australia.
