Name Description

Matej Pirc

Mr. Matej Pirc has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Shareholders' Representative at Krka, d. d., Novo Mesto since June 21, 2015. He worked as a senior manager in the Mercator Group both in the controlling company and in subsidiaries in the countries of South-Eastern Europe and gained experience in managing the supporting functions of a large international trading system, primarily in the following areas: finance, accounting, controlling, investment and development, IT, human resources, legal and general affairs, managing development, and liquidity and financial risk management. From May 2013 until April 2014, he was a member of the Management Board of Slovenska odskodninska druzba (SOD) restitution fund. From April 2014 until October 2015, he managed Slovenski drzavni holding (SDH, Slovenian Sovereign Holding) and was responsible for capital asset management, company restructuring, availability of assets, denationalization, settling liabilities under various laws, and other related areas. He has also been the President of the Supervisory Board of GEN energija, d. o. o. He graduated in Economics. He enrolled his post-graduate studies at the University of Maribor, Faculty of Law, in the field of Tax Law, and at the University of Maribor, Faculty of Economics and Business, in the fields of Accounting and Audit.

Joze Colaric

Mr. Joze Colaric has served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Management Board in Krka dd Novo Mesto since January 1, 2005. He has served in the Company since 1982, when he began work in the Financial Sector, where he was initially Head of Department for Foreign Exchange Trade, and later became Assistant Director. In 1989 he took over leadership of the export service in the Export-Import Division, and within two years had become Deputy Director. At the beginning of 1993, he was appointed as Deputy to the Chief Executive for the area of marketing and finance, and in September 1993, he took over direction of the Marketing and Sales Division. In 1997 he was appointed as Member of the Management Board. After that, he was nominated as Deputy to the President of the Management Board. He graduated from Economics from the Faculty of Economics at Univerza v Ljubljani in 1979.

Joze Mermal

Mr. Joze Mermal has been Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Shareholders' Representative at Krka dd Novo Mesto since June 21, 2015. He has been managing the BTC Company for 22 years. He has worked in various positions since 1978. He initiated and managed the project of restructuring and transforming public warehouses into business, shopping, sports and entertainment centre BTC City. He has received several awards for his work, among others the Manager of the Year in 1997 and the Primus Award for excellence in communication in 2001 by the Slovenian Public Relations Society. He received the title of the Cultural Patron of the Year in 2011. In 2013, the Municipality of Ljubljana conferred the Marjan Rozanc Award on Mr. Mermal for achievements in sports. He received also the Vision Manager Award, which is conferred by public relations experts from South-Eastern Europe. In 2014, the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry awarded him for exceptional business and entrepreneurial achievements in the category of large companies for the year 2013. He graduated in Economics.

Franc Sasek

Mr. Franc Sasek has been Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Employees' Representative at Krka dd Novo Mesto since June 21, 2009. He is also Member of the Company's Audit Committee. He started working for Krka as a turner in 1984. After having completed his part-time studies, he worked, from 1992 to 2000, as a technologist, then head of the Department for technical and technological preparation and also responsible person for this field. Since 2001 he has been Senior Professional Associate in the management of Technical Services and Energy Supply for the maintenance and project management. In 2004 he actively participated, as a project manager of the maintenance group, in the implementation of the system used to support the company’s business processes (SAP) and was later appointed as the maintenance system owner at Krka, responsible for the implementation, development and optimisation of this system. He performed the same role, in the period between 2007 and 2008, when the system was implemented in the subsidiary Krka-Rus. He has also been engaged, since 1999, in the field of quality as an Authorised Person for quality, training coach and registered internal auditor. Doing this, he is co-responsible for the development and maintenance of the integrated quality system in his own department and in the company as a whole. He was elected President of the Works Council of Krka for the 2009-2013 mandate period. He graduated in Organizational Sciences.

Ales Rotar

Dr. Ales Rotar has served as Member of the Management Board since 2001 and Director of Pharmaceutical R&D and Production since 2002 in Krka dd Novo Mesto. He has served in the Company since 1984, when he was engaged in the Stability Testing Department. In 1991, he became Head of the Division for Pharmaceutical Technology, and two years later was appointed as Head of Pharmaceutical Development in the Research and Development Division in the Company. In 1998, he was appointed as Deputy Director of the Division, and in 1999 as Director in Krka dd Novo Mesto. He obtained Bachelors degree in Pharmacy from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology at Univerza v Ljubljani in 1984 and Master’s degree in Pharmacy from the same university in 1991. He also got Master’s of Business Administration degree from the IEDC Centre at Brdo (current IEDC Business School, Bled) in 1993 and a Doctorate in Philosophy degree in Pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmacy from Univerza v Ljubljani (2000).

David Bratoz

Mr. David Bratoz has been Member of the Management Board at Krka dd Novo Mesto since November 18, 2015. He began his career at Krka in 2001 in the Finance Department, where he was responsible for several major projects. In 2003, he began working in Sales, Region Central Europe, with a focus on the Polish market. He was appointed Director of Krka–Polska in 2007, where he managed operations in marketing, sales, production and distribution. Two years later, he was appointed the president of the Board of Directors. He holds a degree in Economics. After secondary school in Novo Mesto, he enrolled at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Ljubljana, where he graduated in Finance in 2000.

Milena Kastelic

Ms. Milena Kastelic has been Member of the Management Board, Worker Director, Head of Semi-Solid, Liquid and Other Products, Head of Brsljin Department at Krka dd Novo Mesto since September 28, 2015. She has been employed at Krka since 1992. Throughout her career, her work has focused on herbs, herbal medicines and non-prescription products. She completed her traineeship in the Auxiliary Medicinal Products and Herbs Programme with an assignment on the technology of drying plant-based raw materials. She worked as a production technologist for five years, and in 1996, she became the Head of the Plant for the Production of Herbal Medicines, today's Brsljin Department which she still manages today. Ms. Kastelic is also Head of Semi-Solid, Liquid and Other Products. She holds a degree in Food Technology. After graduating from secondary school in Novo Mesto in 1986, she enrolled at the Biotechnical Faculty at the University of Ljubljana. In 1991, she won the Preseren Award for students for her undergraduate diploma thesis, 'Evaluation of glucoamylase activity in yeast Saccharomyces diastaticus'. In 1993, she completed training in work design at the REFA Association in Germany.

Vinko Zupancic

Dr. Vinko Zupancic has been Member of the Management Board and Director of Product Supply of Krka dd Novo Mesto since January 1, 2010. He joined Krka in 1997 as an intern in the warehousing and transport section of Product Supply. In 1998 he became Warehouse Technologist and then Senior Warehouse Technologist. In 2000 he was made Assistant to the Head of Warehouse and Transport Services, and in 2002 became Deputy Head of the Product Supply Logistics Centre. On February 1, 2004 he was appointed Director of the Krka representative office in Bangalore, India. He returned to Krka headquarters in Slovenia on July 1, 2005 and became head of the Product Supply Logistics Centre. He was appointed Deputy Director for Product Supply on December 1, 2008, and Director on January 1, 2010. Dr. Zupancic graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy in Ljubljana in 1996 with a Masters degree in Pharmacy, passing his professional specialization in 1998, and gaining his Doctorate from the same faculty in 2010.

Julijana Kristl

Prof. Julijana Kristl has served as Member of the Supervisory Board, Shareholders' Representative at Krka dd Novo Mesto since June 17, 2010. She is also Member of the Company's Human Resources Committee. She was Chair of the department, and then for two mandates Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, while now she is Vice-Rector at the University of Ljubljana responsible for graduate and postgraduate studies and also for enrolment. Her research work is focused on modern delivery systems for active ingredients, nanotechnology and biomaterials. Until 2005 she was Member of the Science and Technology Council of the Republic of Slovenia and also Member of the Health Council at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Slovenia. She is Member of the Slovenian Pharmaceutical Society, the Slovenian Biophysical Society, President of the Society of experts for controlled release of bioactive compounds and Member of several important international organisations – Controlled Release Society, USA, Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences, London, Association de pharmacie galenique industriel, Paris, and Member of the Editorial Boards of magazines titled Journal of Drug Delivery Science and Technology, Ars Pharmaceutica and Journal of Biomedical Nanotechnology. She graduated in 1977, took her Masters degree in 1981 and received a Doctorate of Science in 1988 from the field of pharmacy at Univerza u Ljubljani.

Simona Razvornik Skofic

Ms. Simona Razvornik Skofic has been Member of the Supervisory Board at Krka, d. d., Novo Mesto since August 20, 2015. Her first job was at Paloma, d. d., Sladki Vrh in the export department. Since 1995, she has worked at Slovenian Sovereign Holding (Slovenski drzavni holding, d. d.; former Slovenska odskodninska druzba, d. d., restitution fund) as a senior manager at the Capital Asset Disposal Department, where she manages and is engaged in sales groups for the disposal of capital assets held by the Republic of Slovenia and Slovenian Sovereign Holding. Until 2013, Simona Razvornik Skofic was a senior adviser in the Capital Asset Management Department, where she managed assets in the form of shares and equity stakes held in companies. She also monitored and analysed the business operations of the companies in the portfolio. As a representative of equity, she has been a member of Supervisory Boards of the following companies: Astra, tehnicna trgovina, d. d., Ljubljana; TP Prehrana, d. d., Maribor; Intes, d. d., Maribor; TUB Swaty, d. d., Maribor; Kompas International, d. d.; and Tosama, d. d. Until July 2015, she was a Supervisory Board member of Slovenian Sovereign Holding as an employees’ representative. She holds a degree in Economics.

Tomaz Sever

Mr. Tomaz Sever has served as Member of the Supervisory Board, Employees' Representative at Krka dd Novo Mesto since 2005. He is also Member of the Company's Audit Committee. He is also Deputy Director of Sales and also Director of the Region Central Europe. He is responsible for market research, bringing forward proposals and developing the Company presentation on individual markets, defining the range of products for sale, suggesting the price strategy for individual markets, participating in promotional activities, planning, formation, development and management of distribution channels, and participation in the building up of the sales network abroad. Between 1992 and 1995, he served in IBM Slovenija, d.o.o., as Sales representative in the field of information systems, and later he conducted the projects dealing with the implementation of information systems. Mr. Sever holds Master of Science degree in Organization and Management, following his first degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Mateja Vrecer

Dr. Mateja Vrecer has served as Member of the Supervisory Board, Employees' Representative in Krka dd Novo Mesto since June 22, 2005. She has served in the Company since 1990. She is also Chairman of the Company's Human Resources Committee. She first worked in the Research and Development Division. She has been working in the field of quality management since 1997 as Deputy Director in Quality Management and since March 2007 also as Head of Quality Assurance International. She is also responsible for external audits performed by pharmaceutical regulatory authorities and Krka’s contractual partners. She is in charge of quality assurance in the field of drug manufacture and analyses with contractual cooperation, and of dealing with complains received from the customers. She is an internal auditor for the quality systems within the Company, participates in setting up the quality systems in production and distribution centers abroad, and is an auditor for contractual partners and a trainer in the field of product quality. She started as a university graduate in Pharmacy, then passed a specialist exam in this field, and later received her Masters and also Doctors Degree in pharmaceutical sciences.
