He has also been the Managing Partner and a director of Stonington Partners, Inc., an investment management firm since 1994. Mr. Michas received an A.B. from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration. In 1999, Mr. Burgess retired from Arthur Andersen LLP where he was an accounting and business advisory partner serving numerous manufacturing, insurance and financial services enterprises. Following his retirement, he has provided consulting services specializing in litigation support, mergers and acquisitions and Audit Committee responsibilities under securities exchange requirements and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
