Name Description

Robert Niblock

Mr. Robert A. Niblock is Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of Lowe's Companies Inc. Mr. Niblock has served as chairman and chief executive officer of Lowe's Companies, Inc., since January 2005. In 2011, he reassumed the title of president, after having served in that role from 2003 to 2006. Niblock became a member of the board of directors when he was named chairman and CEO-elect in 2004. He joined Lowe’s in 1993, and during his career with the company, has served as vice president and treasurer, senior vice president, and executive vice president and CFO. Before Lowe’s, Niblock had a nine-year career with accounting firm Ernst & Young. Niblock was elected to the board of directors of ConocoPhillips in 2010 and serves on its audit and finance committee. He is past chairman and a member of the board of directors of the Retail Industry Leaders Association, after having served as chairman in 2008 and 2009. He has been a member of the organization since 2003 and served as vice chairman in 2006 and 2007. Niblock is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.

Robert Hull

Mr. Robert F. Hull, Jr., is Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of Lowe’s Companies Inc. He has served as Lowe’s chief financial officer since March 2003. He joined Lowe’s in 1999 as vice president of financial planning and analysis. Hull is responsible for accounting, tax, treasury, investor relations, procurement and financial planning and analysis. He has more than 20 years of retail and financial management experience. Damron joined Lowe’s in 1981 and most recently served as executive vice president of store operations, where he oversaw all Lowe’s stores and Lowe’s specialty sales businesses, including installed, special order, commercial sales, credit, delivery, assembly and store operations support. Maureen Ausura

Ms. Maureen K. Ausura is Chief Human Resource Officer of Lowe's Companies Inc. She is responsible for the global human resources practices, policies and operations that enable the company to attract, motivate, develop. Ausura joined Lowe’s in 2005 as senior vice president of human resources and was promoted to executive vice president in 2011. Prior to joining Lowe’s she was the corporate vice president of human resources with international agribusiness company Archer Daniels Midland, and also held senior-level human resources positions with Giant Eagle Supermarkets and Campbell Soup Company. Matthew Hollifield

Mr. Matthew V. Hollifield is Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer of Lowe’s Companies Inc., since November 2005. He served as vice president of corporate accounts payable since joining Lowe’s in 2002. Hollifield’s responsibilities include oversight of all corporate accounting, product accounting, inventory control, trades payable, expense payable and general accounting functions. Lara Lee

Ms. Lara Lee is Senior Vice President - Customer Experience Design of Lowe's Companies, Inc., since 2013. She is responsible for translating business strategies into integrated, multi-channel experiences that deliver value to home improvement customers and to Lowe’s. Named a “Master of Innovation” by BusinessWeek in 2006, Lee has driven customer-centric business transformation for more than 20 years. She served most recently as chief innovation and operating officer at global design and innovation firm Continuum. Lee also spent 15 years at Harley-Davidson, building the international business, launching new ventures and running a division that designed and monetized customer experiences. Michael McDermott

Mr. Michael P. McDermott is Senior Vice President, General Merchandising Manager - Building and Maintenance of Lowe's Companies, Inc. McDermott will be responsible for the Lumber & Building Materials, Millwork, Hardware & Tools and Rough Plumbing & Electrical divisions. Janet Saura

Ms. Janet M. Saura is Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel of Lowe's Companies, Inc. Saura was promoted to senior vice president and deputy general counsel in 2010, responsible for employee relations counseling, government transactions and compliance and certain litigation matters. Saura joined Lowe’s in 2006 to build a function within the legal department to focus on daily counsel, labor relations and compliance in the employment arena. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Oakland University and her juris doctor from the University of Detroit.

Kevin Summers

Mr. Kevin V. Summers is Chief Information Officer of Lowe's Companies Inc. He is responsible for all aspects of Information Technology, including the continued development of a technology portfolio that seamlessly supports the operations of the company’s stores, distribution network, e-commerce platforms, and future business technology needs. Summers joined Lowe’s with more than 20 years of experience in technology-related fields, serving most recently as senior vice president and global chief information officer for Whirlpool Corporation. He has held leadership roles with some of the country’s -known companies, including Whirlpool, Coca-Cola, Bell South Technology Services and General Electric and has been honored for his work, having been named among the “100 Most Important Blacks in Technology” and “Top 10 CIO Change Agents”. Thomas Lamb

Mr. Thomas J. Lamb has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer of Lowe's Companies Inc., effective May 2012. He is responsible for all communications and marketing functions, including managing the Lowe’s brand and delivering an effective integrated communications strategy to customers, employees and media stakeholders. Lamb previously served as senior vice president of marketing and advertising, responsible for branded advertising across all media, customer relationship marketing, sports, affinity, multicultural and credit marketing. He joined Lowe’s in 1999 as director of database marketing and has more than 20 years of experience in marketing, advertising and strategy. Lamb earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and an M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota.

Gaither Keener

Mr. Gaither M. Keener, Jr., is Chief Legal Officer, Chief Compliance Officer and Secretary of Lowe's Companies Inc. He was named chief legal officer, chief compliance officer and secretary in May of 2012, after serving as executive vice president, general counsel, secretary and chief legal officer since 2011. In this role, he directs and determines all legal matters pursuant for the company and its subsidiaries. Keener began his career at Lowe’s in 1985 as corporate counsel after serving as a member of a private law firm. He served in the United States Marine Corps, has a bachelor’s degree from Western Carolina University, and juris doctor degree from Wake Forest University Law School.

Marshall Croom

Mr. Marshall A. Croom is Chief Risk Officer of Lowe’s Companies Inc. He was named chief risk officer in January of 2009, and is responsible for providing oversight and direction for the management of all material risks across the company, including enterprise risk management, workers compensation, internal audit, data management, quality assurance and information security. Croom joined the company in 1997, following an 11-year career with Ernst & Young, and most recently served as senior vice president of merchandising and store support. His prior Lowe’s experience also includes senior vice president of finance, treasurer and assistant treasurer. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Appalachian State University.

Gregory Bridgeford

Mr. Gregory M. Bridgeford is no longer Chief Customer Officer of Lowe's Companies Inc., effective April 30, 2014. After serving as executive vice president of business development since 2004. He is responsible for creating experiences that will serve customers and differentiate Lowe’s from its competition, and will oversee customer experience design, merchandising, marketing and communications, digital platforms, and pricing and promotion. Robert Gfeller

Mr. Robert J. Gfeller, Jr., is Customer Experience Design Executive of Lowe's Companies Inc., since May 2012. He is responsible for envisioning, articulating and the design of compelling, differentiating experiences across the U.S. multi-channel business. He is accountable for designing the full profit and loss business plan and making decisions on changes to the customer experience. Gfeller joined Lowe's in 1999, and most recently served as executive vice president of merchandising. Mr. Michael A. Jones has been appointed as Chief Customer Officer of Lowe's Companies Inc., effective April 30, 2014. Jones joined Lowe’s with more than a decade of executive leadership experience in sales, service, product management and internal business, serving most recently as executive vice president and president of Husqvarna North and Latin America. Prior to Husqvarna, Jones spent 15 years with General Electric, beginning his career in appliance contract sales before holding positions as chief commercial officer – Europe for GE Consumer and Industrial and general manager of cooking products. Brent Kirby

Mr. Brent G. Kirby is Sales and Service Fulfillment Executive of Lowe's Companies Inc. He was named sales and service fulfillment executive in May of 2012, and is responsible for managing operations of and setting standards for U.S. outside sales and service capabilities, including contact centers, installation, and repair services. Kirby joined Lowe’s in 1986 and has worked in retail for more than 25 years. Most recently he served as senior vice president of operations for the North Division, after previously serving as SVP of operations of the West Division and the North Central Division. His team oversees development and management of selling systems and portal-based employee workspaces. Mabry joined the company in December 2003 after a 12-year career with Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Most recently he was executive vice president of logistics and distribution, after serving as senior vice president of distribution, where he directed Lowe’s state-of-the-art logistics and distribution network. Richard Maltsbarger

Mr. Richard D. Maltsbarger is Business Development Executive of Lowe's Companies Inc. He is responsible for strategic planning and realization, business process management, research and consumer insight, and the innovation center. He joined Lowe’s in 2004, and most recently served as senior vice president of strategy. He brings more than 15 years experience in strategic planning, consumer and market research, quantitative analytics, marketing, and economic analysis to the role. Maltsbarger’s previous roles at Lowe’s include vice president of strategic planning, vice president of research and director of customer analytics. N. Brian Peace

Mr. N. Brian Peace is Corporate Administration Executive of Lowe’s Companies Inc. He was named corporate administration executive in May of 2012, and is responsible for government affairs, corporate facilities, corporate security, aviation, and corporate events and travel. He joined Lowe’s in 1997, and previously served as senior vice president of corporate affairs and vice president of corporate communications, where he also oversaw public relations, internal communications, and community relations. William Robinson

Mr. William D. Robinson is Head - International Operations and Development of Lowe's Companies Inc. He was named head of international operations and development in May of 2012, and is responsible for Lowe’s operations in Canada and Mexico, and developing other international opportunities. He also sits on the board of directors for Masters, Lowe’s joint venture in Australia. He joined Lowe’s in 2003 with more than 20 years experience in the home improvement industry. Most recently he served as senior vice president of international operations and customer support services, and was president of Lowe’s Canada from the time the company announced its international expansion plans in 2005 until 2007. Robinson has also served as vice president of store operations/special projects, and in Lowe’s store operations organization as district manager. Prior to Lowe’s, Robinson was president and CEO of ARXX Building Products in Ontario, and president and CEO of Beaver Lumber Company in Toronto.

Stephen Szilagyi

Mr. Stephen J. Szilagyi has been appointed as Supply Chain Executive of Lowe's Companies Inc. He has more than 25 years of supply chain experience, including leadership roles prior to Lowe's in wholesale distribution and retail/consumer products supply chain consulting services. He began his career at Lowe's in 2001 as regional director of distribution and was named vice president of distribution in 2002 and senior vice president in 2006. He earned a bachelor's degree in materials and logistics management from Michigan State University.

Gary Wyatt

Mr. Gary E. Wyatt is Real Estate Executive of Lowe's Companies Inc. He was named Real Estate Executive in May of 2012, and is responsible for designing, planning, construction and maintenance of retail and customer service spaces in the United States. Wyatt joined Lowe’s in 1984 as a commodity trader in the Lumber Division. He also served in a number of roles in research and marketing, and served as vice president of research before moving into site acquisition, development, engineering, construction and property management for more than 1,700 Lowe’s stores in North America as senior vice president of real estate, engineering and construction. Wyatt has a bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University.

David Bernauer

He served as the non-executive Chairman of the board of directors of Walgreen Co., the District of Columbia, Guam and Puerto Rico, from January 2007 until his retirement in July 2007. From January 2002 until July 2006, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Walgreens, at which time he ceased to be Chief Executive Officer and served as executive Chairman of the company until January 2007. Mr. Bernauer previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Walgreens and in various management positions, with increasing areas of responsibility, since joining Walgreens in 1966. Mr. Bernauer currently serves on the board of directors of NBTY, Inc., and was a director of Office Depot, Inc. until 2011.

Angela Braly

Ms. Angela F. Braly is Director of the Company. Braly is former chair, president and CEO of WellPoint, Inc., one of the nation’s largest health benefits companies. She served as WellPoint’s president and CEO from 2007 until 2012, and was also chair of the board from 2010 until 2012. She was president and CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Missouri from 2003 to 2005. In addition to her new role on the Lowe’s board of directors, Braly also serves on the board of The Procter & Gamble Company. She earned a juris doctor degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Texas Tech University.

Raul Alvarez

Mr. Raul Alvarez is Independent Director of Lowe's Companies, Inc. Mr. Alvarez served as President and Chief Operating Officer of McDonald’s Corporation from August 2006 until his retirement in December 2009. Previously, he served as President of McDonald’s North America from January 2005 to August 2006 and as President of McDonald’s USA from July 2004 to January 2005. Mr. Alvarez joined McDonald’s in 1994 and held a variety of leadership positions during his tenure with the company, including Chief Operations Officer and President of the Central Division, both with McDonald’s USA, and President of McDonald’s Mexico. Before joining McDonald’s, Mr. Alvarez served as both a Corporate Vice President and as Division Vice President — Florida for Wendy’s International, Inc. from 1990 to 1994. Prior to that, he was with Burger King Corporation from 1977 to 1989 where he held a variety of positions including Managing Director of Burger King Spain, President of Burger King Canada, and Regional Vice President for Florida Region. Mr. Alvarez currently serves on the board of directors of Eli Lilly and Company. Mr. Alvarez was a director of McDonald’s Corporation and KeyCorp until 2009. He was also a member of the board of directors of the National Retail Federation Inc., until 2010. Mr. Alvarez brings to the Board over 30 years of experience in the retail industry.

Leonard Berry

Dr. Leonard L. Berry, Ph.D., is Independent Director of Lowe's Companies, Inc., since 1998. Dr. Berry is a Distinguished Professor of Marketing, Presidential Professor for Teaching Excellence and holds the M.B. Zale Chair in Retailing and Marketing Leadership in the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. Dr. Berry has been a Professor of Marketing at Texas A&M University, since 1982, and a Professor of Humanities in Medicine in the College of Medicine at The Texas A&M University System Health Science Center, since 2004. He is also the founder of the Center for Retailing Studies at Texas A&M University. An accomplished author, he has published numerous articles and a series of books on service management, marketing and quality. Dr. Berry currently serves on the boards of directors of Darden Restaurants, Inc. and Genesco Inc.

Peter Browning

Mr. Peter C. Browning is Independent Director of Lowe's Companies, Inc., since 1998. Mr. Browning has been the managing director of Peter C. Browning & Associates, LLC, a board advisory consulting firm, since 2009. Mr. Browning has also served as Lead Director of Nucor Corporation, a steel manufacturer, since May 2006, and non-executive Chairman, from September 2000 to May 2006. Prior to that, he was the Dean of the McColl Graduate School of Business at Queens University of Charlotte, North Carolina, from March 2002 to May 2005. From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Browning was President and Chief Executive Officer, from 1996 to 1998, President and Chief Operating Officer, and from 1993 to 1996, Executive Vice President of Sonoco Products Company, a manufacturer of industrial and consumer packaging products. Before joining Sonoco, Mr. Browning was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of National Gypsum Company, a manufacturer and supplier of building and construction products, from 1990 to 1993. He currently serves on the boards of directors of Acuity Brands, Inc., where he serves as Lead Director, EnPro Industries, Inc. and Nucor Corporation, and was a director of Wachovia Corporation and The Phoenix Companies, Inc. until 2008 and 2009, respectively.

Richard Dreiling

Mr. Richard W. Dreiling is Independent Director of Lowe's Companies, Inc., since January 27, 2012. Mr. Dreiling has served as Chief Executive Officer of Dollar General Corporation, since January 2008, and Chairman of the board, since December 2008. Before joining Dollar General, Mr. Dreiling served as Chief Executive Officer, President and a director of Duane Reade Holdings, Inc. and Duane Reade Inc., from November 2005 until January 2008, and as Chairman of the board of Duane Reade from March 2007 until January 2008. Prior to that, Mr. Dreiling, beginning in March 2005, served as Executive Vice President — Chief Operating Officer of Longs Drug Stores Corporation, an operator of a chain of retail drug stores on the West Coast and Hawaii, after having joined Longs in July 2003 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer. From 2000 to 2003, Mr. Dreiling served as Executive Vice President — Marketing, Manufacturing and Distribution at Safeway, Inc., a food and drug retailer. Prior to that, Mr. Dreiling served from 1998 to 2000 as President of Vons, a southern California food and drug division of Safeway. Mr. Dreiling is also Vice Chairman and a member of the board of directors of the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA), a trade association based in Arlington, VA for the retail industry that includes nine of the top 10 U.S. retailers among its members.

Dawn Hudson

Ms. Dawn E. Hudson is Independent Director of Lowe's Companies Inc. Ms. Hudson is Vice Chair of The Parthenon Group, an advisory firm focused on business strategy consulting. Ms. Hudson was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Pepsi-Cola North America, the refreshment beverage unit of PepsiCo, Inc. in the United States and Canada, until November 2007, where she served as President from May 2002 and Chief Executive Officer from March 2005. She also served as Chief Executive Officer of the PepsiCo Foodservice Division from March 2005 to November 2007. Prior to joining PepsiCo, Ms. Hudson spent 13 years in the marketing, advertising and branding strategy arena with leadership positions at agencies such as D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles and Omnicom. She currently serves on the boards of directors of Allergan, Inc., P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Inc. and The Interpublic Group of Companies, Inc.

Robert Johnson

Mr. Robert L. Johnson is Independent Director of Lowe's Companies Inc., since 2005. Mr. Johnson is the founder and Chairman of The RLJ Companies, which owns or holds interests in a diverse portfolio of companies in the banking, private equity, real estate, hospitality, professional sports (including the NBA Charlotte Bobcats), film production, gaming and automobile dealership industries. Prior to forming The RLJ Companies, he was founder and Chairman of Black Entertainment Television (BET), which was acquired in 2001 by Viacom Inc., a media-entertainment holding company. Mr. Johnson continued to serve as Chief Executive Officer of BET until 2006. He currently serves on the boards of directors of KB Home and Strayer Education, Inc.

Marshall Larsen

Mr. Marshall O. Larsen is Independent Director of Lowe’s Companies Inc. Mr. Larsen retired in July 2012 as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Goodrich Corporation, a supplier of systems and services to the aerospace and defense industry. Mr. Larsen had served as Chairman of Goodrich since October 2003 and President and Chief Executive Officer, since February 2002 and April 2003, respectively. Prior to that, Mr. Larsen was Chief Operating Officer of Goodrich from February 2002 to April 2003, and Executive Vice President and President and Chief Operating Officer of Goodrich Aerospace division of Goodrich from 1995 to 2002. He currently serves on the boards of directors of Becton, Dickinson and Company, United Technologies Corporation and the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.

Richard Lochridge

Mr. Richard K. Lochridge is Independent Director of Lowe’s Companies Inc., since 1998. Mr. Lochridge is the founder and served as President of Lochridge & Company, Inc., a general management consulting firm, from 1986 until his retirement in September 2010. He currently serves on the boards of directors of Dover Corporation and PetSmart, Inc. He was a director of John H. Harland Company until 2007.

Eric Wiseman

Mr. Eric C. Wiseman is Independent Director of Lowe's Companies Inc., since November 11, 2011. Mr. Wiseman has served as Chairman of VF Corporation, an apparel company, since August 2008, as Chief Executive Officer since January 2008, and as President since March 2006. Prior to that, he served as Chief Operating Officer of VF from March 2006 to January 2008. Mr. Wiseman joined VF in 1995 and has held a variety of leadership positions during his tenure with the company, including Executive Vice President, Global Brands and Vice President and Chairman, Sportswear and Outdoor Coalitions.
