Mr. A. M. Naik is Executive Chairman of the Board, Managing Director of Larsen & Toubro Limited. He joined the company as a Junior Engineer in 1965, and was rapidly given positions of increasing responsibility. He was appointed Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of L&T on April 28, 1999. On December 30, 2003, he was appointed Chairman and Managing Director of L&T. He led the Company through some of its most challenging times, and enabled it to emerge stronger each time. His broad global perspective has seen the Company expand its horizons beyond domestic borders, and position itself to become a global player. Mr. A. M. Naik heads an organisation that is among the most admired companies in India, reputed for the technological excellence that characterises its projects and products, for its contribution to the development of indigenous engineering capabilities and, for its inherent professionalism and value systems. |

Mr. Krishnamurthi Venkataramanan is Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, Whole-time Director of Larsen & Toubro Limited. He has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the company with effect from April 01, 2012. He joined L&T on June 12, 1969 after completing B.Tech. in Chemical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He was appointed as whole-time Director on the Board of the Company on May 20, 1999. He also built process design capability through a Front End Engineering Design group (FEED) for direct access to process technology. He helped transform the company from a fabrication driven EPC contractor to a technology led player. He also established IT-enabled Engineering Services Centres to tap global opportunities. Mr. Venkataramanan implemented Real Time Strategic Change (RTSC) processes in the company for high performance team building. He implemented various business solutions such as Global Sourcing, Skill Building, Risk Management, Benchmarking, Contracts Management, and intense monitoring of value drivers encompassing financial and operational parameters. Mr. Venkataramanan also formed a dedicated International Business Development Cell to give thrust on the international front. Under his leadership, the project team executed / are executing high technology projects in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Kuwait, Oman, Sri Lanka and Nigeria. Mr. Venkataramanan has been associated with many industry bodies. These include the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Chemtech Foundation, and the National Executive Council for 'Petroleum & Power' sector. |

Mr. R. Shankar Raman is Chief Financial Officer, Whole-time Director of Larsen & Toubro Ltd. He is a Commerce graduate from the University of Madras, Chennai. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in May 1983 and became a Graduate of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India in 1986. Mr. Madhukar Vinayak Kotwal is Whole-time Director, President - Heavy Engineering of Larsen & Toubro Limited. He is a B.E. Mechanical Engineer from the 1968 batch of S. P. College of Engineering, University of Mumbai. On graduation, he joined L&T's Powai Works, Mumbai, as a junior engineer. As a member of the Board of L&T & Senior Executive Vice President heading the Heavy Engineering Division, Mr. Kotwal handles operations of different Strategic Business Units dealing with domestic as well as international businesses covering equipment and systems for refineries, fertiliser and chemical process plants, power plants (including nuclear power), and defence and aerospace. Workshops and facilities located at Powai, Hazira, Baroda and Vizag are also managed by him. Mr. Kotwal has been associated with several apex bodies. He is the co-Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry's National committee on Defence and is a member of the Vijay Kelkar Committee responsible for advising the Government of India on restructuring defence production in the country. He is also the Chairman of Process Plant & Machinery Association of India. |

Mr. Vijay Kumar Magapu is Whole-time Director, President - IT, Engineering Services & Corporate Initiatives of Larsen & Toubro Limited. Under his leadership, L&T Infotech adopted an aggressive business development drive that resulted in key strategic alliances and the establishment of multiple Offshore Development Centres for global clients. He was also responsible for several initiatives to secure quality certifications and assessment levels. In his capacity as L&T's Chief Information Officer and e-Commerce Officer, Mr. Magapu helped to formulate and implement IT strategies across the company. Mr. Magapu joined L&T as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in 1966, and rapidly rose to assume positions of responsibility in materials management, production planning, design, and various functions in marketing. In 1985, Mr. Magapu took charge of L&T's newly set up Hazira Works and oversaw the development and expansion of this heavy engineering complex. Later, he was elevated to the post of Executive Vice President responsible for the Company's power project business before being appointed Chief Executive of the IT subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro Limited in 2000. An alumnus of IIT, Chennai, Mr. Magapu holds a Masters Degree in Mechanical Science from the University of Calgary, Canada. |

Mr. Ravi K. Uppal is Whole-Time Director, President - Power of Larsen and Toubro Ltd. He is a Mechanical Engineer from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Delhi and an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad. He has also completed his Advanced Management Program at Wharton Business School, USA. Before taking on his present responsibility with the L&T Group, Mr. Uppal spent over 22 years with the ABB Group and was their President - Global Markets and Member of the ABB Group Executive Committee based in Switzerland. From 2001 to 2007, Mr. Uppal was Vice Chairman & Managing Director of ABB in India and during his tenure, the operations saw a meteoric, seven-fold growth. Under his leadership, ABB was placed among India's companies and won many accolades. Preceding this tenure with ABB, he established and developed Volvo's operations in India from scratch as Volvo's Managing Director & Country Manager, ushering in a new era and concept of commercial transportation in the country. Prior to taking up the Volvo challenge, Mr. Uppal served with ABB for 16 years in several senior management capacities in India, the Middle East, North Africa, Germany and Sweden. Amongst the many honours he has received, Mr. Uppal was awarded the Royal Order of the Polar Star by the King of Sweden and named a Knight of this Order, in recognition of his invaluable services to Sweden. He has also been honoured as a Distinguished Alumnus by IIT (Delhi). Mr. Uppal, in addition to his executive responsibility at L&T, is also serving as Non-Executive Director on the Board of BAE Systems, plc, U.K., and is also Chairman of the Indian Advisory Board of Schindler, Switzerland.
