Prior to Tickets.com, Ron was President and CEO of Sega GameWorks, a multi-unit, location-based entertainment company founded by Steven Spielberg. During his two and a half years at the company's helm, he engineered a dramatic increase in revenue and growth. He was honored for his achievements with the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2001. Ron also served as Chairman and CEO of Universal Studios Recreation Group, a division of Universal Studios, where he oversaw the $1 billion global leisure recreation company through its international expansion plans. Ron holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from California State University, Los Angeles. Mr. Fogel personally oversees many of the company's tours, and over the years, has produced many of the most tours in history. From 2009 to 2011, Mr. Fogel produced U2's '360 Tour', which became the most tour in history for gross (just over 735m) and attendance (over 7m tickets sold). Additionally, he has produced the Vertigo, Elevation and Pop Mart tours for the band – spanning the past 15 years. In 2008 and 2009, he produced Madonna's Sticky & Sweet Tour, which became the highest grossing tour in history by a solo artist, grossing over 400m. And most recently, Mr. Fogel just completed his 5th tour with Madonna – her 'MDNA' tour – which finished in December as the highest-grossing tour of 2012. Mr. Fogel produced the worldwide reunion tour for The Police in 2007 and 2008, and continues to promote Sting tours, including his current 'Back to Bass' tour. He has also promoted every David Bowie tour since 1990, as well as tours for Neil Young, Rush and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young for the past 10 years. Mr. Fogel began his promoting career in 1981 with the Toronto-based Concert Productions International (CPI), which promoted artists in Toronto and across Canada.
