Name	Description
J. Marriott	Mr. J. W. Marriott, Jr., is Executive Chairman of the Board of Marriott International Inc., since March 31, 2012. Prior to that he was Company's Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. He served as Chief Executive Officer of the Company and its predecessors since 1972. He continues to serve as Chairman of the Board, a position he has held since 1985. He joined Marriott Corporation (now known as Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc.) in 1956, became President and a Director in 1964. Mr. Marriott serves on the Board of The J. Willard & Alice S. Marriott Foundation. He is a member of the National Business Council and the Executive Committee of the World Travel & Tourism Council. Mr. Marriott has served as a Director of the Company and its predecessors since 1964.
Arne Sorenson	Mr. Arne M. Sorenson is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Marriott International Inc. Mr. Sorenson became President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company on March 31, 2012 and was appointed to the Board of Directors in February 2011. Mr. Sorenson joined Marriott in 1996 as Senior Vice President of Business Development, was named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 1998, assumed the additional title of President, Continental European Lodging, in 2003 and was appointed Marriott's President and Chief Operating Officer in 2009. John Marriott	Mr. John W. Marriott, III is Vice Chairman of the Board of Marriot International, Inc. Mr. Marriott is Chief Executive Officer of JWM Family Enterprises, L.P., a private partnership which develops and owns hotels. He was appointed Vice Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors in October 2005. Until December 30, 2005, Mr. Marriott was the Company’s Executive Vice President-Lodging and President of North American Lodging. Carl Berquist	Mr. Carl T. Berquist is Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of Marriott International Inc. Mr. Berquist has responsibility for global finance, including financial reporting, project finance, mergers and acquisitions, global treasury, corporate tax, internal audit, and investor relations. From December 2002 until he began serving in his current position in April 2009, he was Executive Vice President of Financial Information and Enterprise Risk Management. Before joining Marriott in December 2002, Mr. Berquist was a partner at Arthur Andersen LLP. Simon Cooper	Mr. Simon F. Cooper is President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific of Marriott International Inc. He oversees the operation, development and strategic positioning of the brands and luxury groups in Asia Pacific. Mr. Cooper served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Ritz-Carlton from February 2001 until he began serving in his current position in September 2010, after a distinguished career with Marriott Lodging, including serving three years as President of Marriott Lodging Canada. His first hospitality job was with Canadian Pacific Hotels & Resorts. Alex Kyriakidis	Mr. Alex Kyriakidis is President and Managing Director, Middle East and Africa of Marriott International Inc., since January 2012. He has responsibility for all business activities for the Middle East and Africa Region (MEA), including operations, sales and marketing, finance and hotel development. Prior to joining Marriott in January 2012, Mr. Kyriakidis served for ten years as Global Managing Director - Travel, Hospitality and Leisure for Deloitte LLP. In this role, Mr. Kyriakidis led the Global Travel, Hospitality and Leisure Industry team, where he was responsible for a team of 4,500 professionals that generated $700 million in revenues. Mr. Kyriakidis has 38 years of experience providing strategic, financial, M&A, operational, asset management and integration services to the travel, hospitality and leisure sectors. He has served clients in 25 countries, predominantly in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions. He is a fellow of the Arab Society of Certified Accountants, the British Association of Hotel Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Mr. Kyriakidis holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science and mathematics from Leeds University in the United Kingdom.
Amy McPherson	Ms. Amy C. McPherson is President and Managing Director, Europe of Marriott International Inc. Ms. McPherson joined Marriott in 1986 and most recently served as Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing responsible for the Company’s global and field sales, marketing, Marriott Rewards program, revenue management and eCommerce from January 2005 until she was named to her current position. Anthony Capuano	Mr. Anthony G. Capuano is Executive Vice President, Chief Development Officer of Marriott International Inc. Mr. Capuano assumed responsibility for Global Development in early 2009. He began his Marriott career in 1995 as a part of the Market Planning and Feasibility team. Between 1997 and 2005, he led Marriott’s Full-Service Development efforts in the Western U.S. and Canada. W. Mitt Romney	Governor W. Mitt Romney is Director of Marriott International, Inc. Governor Romney most recently was the Republican candidate for the office of President of the United States. He also was a candidate for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination. Before that, he served as the Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from 2003 through 2007. Prior to his time as Governor, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. Gov. Romney started his career in business in 1978 as a Vice President of Bain & Company, Inc., a management consulting firm based in Boston, Massachusetts. Mary Bush	The Honourable Mary K. Bush is Independent Director of Marriott International Inc., since May 2008. Ms. Bush has served as President of Bush International, LLC, an advisor to U.S. corporations and foreign governments on international capital markets, strategic business and economic matters, since 1991. She has held several Presidential appointments including the U.S. Government’s representative on the IMF Board and Director of Sallie Mae. She also was head of the Federal Home Loan Bank System during the aftermath of the Savings and Loan crisis and was advisor to the Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Treasury Department. Earlier in her career, she managed global banking and corporate finance relationships at New York money center banks including Citibank, Banker’s Trust, and Chase. She serves on the Kennedy Center’s Community Advisory Board and on the U.S. Advisory Board of the Global Leadership Foundation. Ms. Bush has been a director of the Company since May 2008.
Frederick Henderson	Mr. Frederick A. Henderson has been appointed as Independent Director of Marriott International, Inc., effective May 10, 2013. He has been Chairman and CEO of SunCoke Energy, Inc., since December 2010. Since July 2012, he also has been Chairman and CEO of SunCoke Energy Partners GP LLC, the general partner of SunCoke Energy Partners, L.P., a publicly traded master limited partnership, that manufactures metallurgical coke for the steel industry. He also served as a Senior Vice President of Sunoco, Inc., a petroleum refiner and chemicals manufacturer with interests in logistics, from September 2010 until the completion of SunCoke Energy, Inc’s initial public offering and separation from Sunoco in July 2011. Prior to that, Mr. Henderson served as President and CEO of General Motors Corporation (“GM”) from March 2009 until December 2009. He held a number of other senior management positions during his more than 25 years with GM, including President and Chief Operating Officer from March 2008 until March 2009, Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer, Chairman of GM Europe, President of GM Asia Pacific and President of GM Latin America, Africa and Middle East, and served as a consultant for GM from February 2010 to until September 2010 before joining Sunoco. Mr. Henderson also served as a consultant for AlixPartners LLC, a business consulting firm, from March 2010 until August 2010. Mr. Henderson serves on the board of directors of Compuware Corporation and is a Trustee of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Mr. Henderson is a certified public accountant.
Lawrence Kellner	Mr. Lawrence W. Kellner is Independent Director of Marriott International Inc., since July 1, 2002. Mr. Kellner is President of Emerald Creek Group LLC, a private equity firm. He served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Continental Airlines, Inc., an international airline company, from December 2004 through December 2009. He served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Continental Airlines from March 2003 to December 2004, as President from May 2001 to March 2003 and was a member of Continental Airlines’ board of directors from May 2001 to December 2009. Ms. Lee is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BET Networks, a media and entertainment subsidiary of Viacom, Inc. that owns and operates BET Networks and several other ventures. She joined BET in 1986 and served in a number of executive posts before ascending to her present position in January 2006, including President and Chief Executive Officer from June 2005, President and Chief Operating Officer from 1995 to May 2005, Executive Vice President and General Counsel, and Vice President and General Counsel.
