Name Description

Fook Cheong Tam

Mr. Tam Fook Cheong, CPA, serves as the Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Maxwell International Holdings Berhad since February 28, 2013. He was appointed as Independent Non-Executive Director on November 3, 2009. He obtained his Fellowship of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants United Kingdom in 1985 and Associateship of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, United Kingdom in 1986. He is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. Prior to joining the Group, he worked as an auditor in a medium size audit firm and later joined National Universiti Malaya as a Financial Accountant. Since early January 1980, he joined Petroliam Nasional Berhad (“PETRONAS”) and has undertaken various assignments within the PETRONAS group in the area of strategic planning and corporate budgeting, financial reporting, project and property development as well as other finance related matters. He has held various managerial positions during his long service with the PETRONAS group until the end of 2008. Currently, he serves as a learning and training consultant for various training service providers including the Malaysian Institute of Accountants in conducting seminars and facilitating workshop sessions for professional accountancy bodies.

Kwai Chun Li

Ms. Li Kwai Chun serves as President and Executive Director of Maxwell International Holdings Berhad since February 28, 2013. She served as Executive Chairman of the Board from November 18, 2009 until February 28, 2013. She is responsible for the overall business, strategy and development of the Group. From March 1980, she was involved in her own business of sale of arts and crafts and then textile in June 1984. She has had more than 10 years of experience in the trading business of footwear. In November 1994, she set up Chun Hing Industrial Company in Hong Kong to engage in the business of trading of footwear, textile and chemicals. In October 1997, she set up Chun Hing Industry (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. to engage in the business of trading footwear, textile and chemicals. In June 1999, she and her husband Li Chun Tak set up Jinjiang Zhenxing Shoes & Plastics Co., Ltd. (“Zhenxing Shoes”) to commence the business of manufacturing sports shoes for overseas customers. In June 2003, she set up Jiayi (Fujian) Import & Export Trade Co., Ltd. (“Jiayi Trading”) to engage principally in the footwear and sports apparel procurement business. Li Kwai Chun completed her Diploma for the postgraduate courses of Executive Masters of Business Administration for Managers from Hong Kong International Business College on 28 July 2000.

Zhenan Xie

Mr. Xie Zhenan serves as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Maxwell International Holdings Berhad. He was appointed as Executive Director on November 18, 2009 and is responsible for overseeing overall operations. He has been the General Manager of Zhenxing Shoes since its inception in June 1999, and is responsible for the production, quality assurance and sales and marketing of sports shoes. Before he joined the Company, he was self employed in the business of trading apparel, footwear and headwear between March 1988 and December 1998. He graduated from Quanzhou Overseas Chinese University in July 1988 with a Diploma in Economic Management.

Swee Song Tan

Mr. Tan Swee Song is the Chief Financial Officer and Investor Relations Contact of Maxwell International Holdings Berhad. He is responsible for the overall financial, accounting, compliance and reporting and internal control functions of the Company. He has more than eight years of experience in group accounts and reporting. He was an auditor with Leou & Associates (Audit Division) from October 2001 to January 2005, and with KPMG Singapore (Audit Division) from February 2005 to July 2009. He is a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Malaysia Institute of Accountants.

Mr. Lee Chong Hoe has been Independent Non-Executive Directorof Maxwell International Holdings Berhad since February 28, 2013. He graduated with double degree of Bachelor of Economics (majoring in accounting and economics) / LLB from Monash University, Melbourne Australia. He started working as tax consultant in KPMG Tax Services Sdn. Bhd. in 1990. He then went into legal practice in 1992 and specialized in commercial matters, mergers & acquisitions, IPO, reverse takeovers, debts restructuring, corporate and securities laws. He is a partner in a Kuala Lumpur law firm, Teh & Lee.

Wei Chien Lim

Mr. Lim Wei Chien serves as Independent Non-Executive Director of Maxwell International Holdings Berhad since November 1, 2014. He holds Bachelor of Law (LLB) and Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Macquarie University. Prior to entering active legal practice, Mr Lim Wei Chien was attached to the business development department of Hwang-DBS Investment Bank Berhad. In 2006, he joined Messrs Shook Lin & Bok and was part of the Corporate, Banking, Finance and Conveyance Departments. Mr Lim Wei Chien is currently a Partner, Head of Capital Markets/Fund Management of the law firm, Messrs Naqiz & Partner. Mr Lim Wei Chien has extensive experience on corporate and commercial law, conveyance matters, banking and finance law as well as conducting due diligence exercises in connection with mergers & acquisitions and listing exercises.
