He is a President of public accounting practice located in Coldwater, MI; Vice President of R.G. Hawkes Trucking, Inc. a regional transportation company located in Tekonsha, MI; Treasurer of C.E.M. Previously served as Director of MSB Financial, Inc. and Marshall Savings Bank, F.S.B. from 1987 to 2004. In 2004, Dr. Mitchell became President and Chief Executive Officer of Starr Commonwealth, a non-profit organization serving youth and their families with campuses in Albion, Battle Creek and Detroit, Michigan and Columbus and Van Wert, Ohio.
