Biographies

Name Description

Ken Cai

 Dr. Ken Z. Cai is Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of Minco Gold Corporation, since February 29, 1996. devotes approximately 40% of his time to the Company’s business. Dr. Cai holds a Ph.D. in mineral economics from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario. Dr. Cai has 25 years' experience in mineral exploration, project evaluation, corporate financing and company management. He has been the driving force behind the Company and responsible for negotiating the property agreements in China. He has a wide range of high-level contacts in the Chinese mining communities and this has allowed Minco to access data on a number of projects throughout China. Dr. Cai serves as a director and/or officer of Minco Silver Corporation, a TSX listed company (Director, President and CEO).

Ellen Wei

 Ms. Ellen Wei has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of Minco Gold Corp. effective November 26, 2012. She has been with the Minco Group of Companies since 2005. She worked at Zhonghua Accounting Firm, a subsidiary of Ministry of Finance of China, in Beijing for twelve years. Prior to joining the Company, she worked at Ernst & Young LLP as an auditor in Hong Kong and Los Angeles for three years. Mrs. Wei was appointed as the CFO of Minco Mining (China) Co., Ltd in Beijing in 2005 and was transferred to Minco's Vancouver office as controller of Minco Group in January 2009. She has served as the Company's interim CFO from May 2012 to present. Mrs. Wei holds a Bachelor of Accounting from Renmin University of China and a CPA designation in China. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia and a Certified Public Accountant in Washington State.

Ute Koessler

 Ms. Ute Koessler is Vice President - Corporate Communications of Minco Gold Corporation, since July 2011. Ms. Koessler has worked for the Minco Mining Group since November 2006, initially as Investor Relations Co-ordinator. Ms. Koessler has worked in various areas of the mining industry over the past 30 years with both on site, and head office experience, with a focus on communications.

Peter Voulgaris

 Mr. Peter Voulgaris has been apoointed as Vice President - Corporate Development of Minco Gold Corporation, effective November 26, 2012. Mr. Voulgaris possesses nearly two decades of international mining experience, including exploration, mine development, operations, and corporate development. He worked as a project geologist at Placer Dome in Australia for seven years after which he joined Newmont Mines Ltd. as senior mine geologist for three years. During 2003-2010, Mr. Voulgaris served at Ivanhoe Mine Ltd, in a variety of senior management positions responsible for engineering studies and mine construction of the Oy Tolgoi project in Mongolia, and project evaluations for mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining the Minco Group of Companies, he worked as an independent consultant providing services in evaluations and financial analysis for mining projects to both private and publicly listed companies. Mr. Voulgaris holds a Bachelor of Geological Engineering with Honors from RMIT University, and a Masters in Engineering Science from Queensland University, both in Australia.

Samson Siu

 Mr. Samson Siu has been appointed as Controller of Minco Gold Corporation, effective November 26, 2012. to joining the Company, Mr. Siu was an assurance manager at Manning Elliott LLP in Vancouver, where he provided assurance and advisory services to public companies listed in Canada and the United States. Prior Mr. Siu worked at KPMG LLP, providing tax compliance and advisory services to companies in the resource sector. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Canada.

Jennifer Trevitt

 Ms. Jennifer Trevitt is Corporate Secretary of Minco Gold Corporation. She is the Certified Paralegal with 12 years of Canadian and US Securities experience. Corporate Secretary Minco Gold Corporation, July 23, 2009 to Present, Paralegal for 3 TSX-V listed mining companies, a US Public company and two law firms in Vancouver from 1999 to 2009. From 1992 to1999, Ms. Trevitt worked for the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia as a Paralegal.
