Name Description
Liu, Guocai Mr. Liu Guocai is currently the Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of the Migao Corporation. Mr. Liu has been engaged in the chemical import and export trade, research and development, and construction of chemical projects for more than 15 years. Mr. Liu became a director of China One Corporation, a capital pool company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, in 2007. Mr. Liu graduated from the Jianghan Petroleum Institute of China (formerly Changjiang University) in 1987 and also holds a Master’s Degree in economics from Liaoning University. From 1987 to 1992, Mr. Liu was an Architectural Engineer, Interpreter at the Ministry of Petroleum Industry of PRC. Mr. Liu was the Vice General Manager of the Liaoning Chemical Industry Import and Export Company from 1993 to 2000. Since 2000, Mr. Liu has been the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of Liaoning Yongcheng Economic & Trade Development Co., Ltd., and since 2003, Mr. Liu has also been the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of the Migao Group.
Smallbone, S. Randall Mr. S. Randall Smallbone is Chief Financial Officer of Migao Corporation. Mr. Smallbone was most recently Executive Vice-President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of KIK Custom Products and prior to that, he was Executive Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Decoma International Inc., a Magna International company. He is a financial executive with more than 30 years of operational experience in diverse, global industries including consumer goods, contract manufacturing, automotive and aerospace parts. He is a director of Hanwei Energy Services Corp., a director of Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation and brings significant experience in financial management, capital markets, acquisitions and investor relations. Mr. Smallbone holds a Certified General Accountant designation.
Stauffer, Mark Dr. Mark D. Stauffer is a Director of the Migao Corporation and has been a consultant since his retirement in January 2005 to the Potash & Phosphate Institute of Canada (“PPIC”) on its agronomy-based market development program in China. From 1988 to December 2004, Dr. Stauffer was employed at PPIC in a variety of senior management roles, including as President until his retirement in December 2004. During the course of his employment with PPIC, Dr. Stauffer conducted the business affairs of PPIC and coordinated its seven international market development programs throughout Latin America and most of Asia, including China, to promote science-based use of potash and phosphate fertilizers. As well, Dr. Stauffer provided market development support to Canada's potash exporter Canpotex Limited. Dr. Stauffer earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the University of Guelph, Canada, and his Ph.D. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech), USA. His previous employment in both Canada and the United States includes research and education in the public and private sectors, as well as responsibility for chemical manufacturing and sales. He is a member of the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists and the American Society of Agronomy.
Attoe, Keith Mr. Keith Attoe is a Director of the Migao Corporation and is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cognitive Finance Inc., a company engaged in derivatives trading, corporate finance and independent director services. From 1995 to 2003, Mr. Attoe was the Chief Financial Officer and a Director of Eiger Technologies Inc., a TSX-listed company engaged in providing VoIP telecom services and manufacturing computer, Internet and telecommunications products. During the time Mr. Attoe was the Chief Financial Officer, Eiger Technologies Inc. successfully completed a number of global acquisitions in energy, digital media and telephony, in North America and Asia. Mr. Attoe founded The Attoe Foundation in 2000 and has been the Chairman, Settlor and Trustee of the family foundation, supporting Arts and Mental Health organizations in Canada. Mr. Attoe is experienced in the areas of public market corporate finance, investment banking, tax planning, risk management and public accounting and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick. Kay, Robert Mr. Robert C. Kay is a Director of the Migao Corporation. Included in his extensive international experience is more than thirteen years assisting companies doing business with or having assets in China. Mr. Kay is also a Board Director and Past Chairman of the Swiss Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Toronto. From February 2003 to August 2004, Mr. Kay served as a Member of the Ontario Municipal Board (“OMB”) where, during his term of office, he judged trials/appeals related to land use planning matters. Prior to his term on the OMB and currently, Mr. Kay serves as a senior advisor to corporations and the professional community to facilitate the strategic development of international business. As of December 2007, Mr. Kay is a director of the Canadian Commercial Corporation, a Crown Corporation of the Government of Canada. Mr. Kay graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall in 1971 and he remains an active member in good standing of the Bar of Ontario.
Ni, Peiwei Mr. Peiwei Ni is a Director of the Migao Corporation and has been the President of Wesbridge Capital Corporation since 2004. Mr. Ni has organized investment forums and meetings for Canadian and Chinese business executives and government officials. Mr. Ni has taken Canadian companies to China and has helped win substantial international contracts for companies such as B+H Architects of Toronto. As an expatriate Chinese, he worked with the company founded by the former Canadian Ambassador to China to develop a hi-tech cinema venue in China. In Toronto, Mr. Ni has completed multi-million dollar real estate transactions for Chinese clients, some of whom Mr. Ni met while working as a producer at CBC covering business affairs from 1989-1999. Mr. Ni has also served as board member on a number of arts and charitable organizations in Toronto and currently Mr. Ni sits on the Board of Active Control Technology Inc., a TSX Venture Exchange listed company. A native of Beijing and a graduate of Beijing’s University of International Business and Economics, he maintains extensive business and social connections in China. Fluently bilingual and bi-cultural, Mr. Ni specializes in interpreting and communicating business values and expectations during negotiations involving Chinese and Western investors.
Manley, Michael Mr. Michael W. Manley serves as Director of Migao Corporation. Mr. Manley is a barrister and solicitor by profession, is a director of the Corporation and has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Wesbridge Capital Corporation, a company specializing in advising China based companies, since 2004. From 1997, Mr. Manley was the President of Wesbridge. Mr. Manley has extensive experience both professionally and as a principal in corporate restructuring, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, real estate development and international project acquisitions and management.
Haber, Paul Mr. Paul Haber is Director of Migao Corporation. Mr. Haber is the Managing Director of Haber and Co. Ltd. which provides corporate finance and capital market advisory services to small and medium sized businesses.
