Name Description

Cristina Stenbeck

Ms. Cristina Stenbeck has been Chairman of the Board of Directors at Millicom International Cellular SA since May 27, 2014. She was previously Non-Executive Director of the Company from May 2003 until 2008. She is the Executive Chairman of Investment AB Kinnevik. She began her career within the Kinnevik group in 1997 when she joined the Board of Invik & Co, its financial services company. She became vice Chairman of Investment AB Kinnevik in 2003 and Chairman in 2007. In addition to heading Kinnevik, she is also Chairman of Zalando, the European fashion and accessories e-commerce company. In recent years, she has also served on the Boards of Millicom, Tele2, Modern Times Group, Transcom WorldWide and Metro International. She chairs the Nomination Committees of Investment AB Kinnevik, Millicom, Tele2, Modern Times Group, and CDON Group which spearhead the recruitment of new Directors for each of these companies’ Boards. She graduated with a B.Sc. from Georgetown University in Washington DC, USA.

Hans-Holger Albrecht

Mr. Hans-Holger Albrecht has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Millicom International Cellular SA since October 31, 2012. He previously was Non-Executive Independent Director of the Company from May 2010 until July 31, 2012. He was also Member of the Company's Compensation Committee. He joined the Company on September 16, 2012. Since 2000, he has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Modern Times Group MTG AB. Before joining Modern Times Group in 1997, he worked for Daimler-Benz and for the Luxembourg-based media group CLT, where he was responsible for all television activities and for business development in Germany and Eastern Europe. He is co-Chairman of CTC Media Inc and Member of the Board of the International Emmy Association in New York. Mr. Hans Holger Albrecht holds a Doctorate in Philosophy in Law from Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum.

Tim Pennington

Mr. Tim Lincoln Pennington has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Millicom International Cellular SA, effective as of June 2014. He has been CFO at Cable & Wireless Communications. He was previously the Group Finance Director for Cable and Wireless plc. Prior to this he was CFO of Hutchison Telecommunications International Ltd. which was listed in Hong Kong and New York. He was also Finance Director of Hutchison 3G (UK) (Hutchison Whampoa’s British mobile business). He also has corporate finance experience, firstly as Director in the specialized Financing Department at Samuel Montagu & Co. Limited and then as Managing Director of HSBC Investment Bank within its Corporate Finance and Advisory Department. He has a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Economics and Social Studies from the University of Manchester.

Justine Dimovic

Ms. Justine Dimovic has been appointed Group Treasurer and Director of Corporate Finance at Millicom International Cellular SA, effective as of April 1, 2014. Before that she has been Head of Investor Relations at the Company since January 2012. Prior to this she worked in equity research covering pan European telecom operators. She holds a civil engineering degree from the Ecole nationale superieure des mines in Nancy, France and a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from the EM Lyon business school.

Mario Zanotti

Mr. Mario Zanotti has served as Senior Executive Vice President of Operations at Millicom International Cellular SA since December 2012. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer in charge of Categories & Global Sourcing from 2011, and between 2008 and 2011, he acted as Chief Officer Latin America within the Company. He was previously Head of Central America with the Company from 2002. He joined the Company in 1992 as General Manager of Telecel in Paraguay. In 1998, he became Managing Director of Tele2 Italy and in 2000, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of YXK Systems. Before joining the Company, he worked as Electrical Engineer at the Itaipu Hydroelectric Power Plant and later as Chief Engineer of an electrical contractor company in Paraguay. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from INCAE and the Universidad Catolica de Asuncion, Paraguay.

Xavier Rocoplan

Mr. Xavier Rocoplan has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology and Information Officer (CTIO) at Millicom International Cellular SA since December 7, 2012. He was previously Chief Global Networks Officer, a position he held from April 2012. He joined Millicom in 2000 as CTO in Vietnam and then became CTO for the South East Asian cluster (Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam). In 2004, he was appointed CEO of Paktel in Pakistan, a role he held until 2007. During this time, he launched Paktel’s GSM operations and led the process that was concluded with the disposal of the business in 2007. After Millicom’s exit from Asia, he was appointed to head the New Corporate Business development unit where he managed the Tower Assets Monetization program which led to the creation of tower companies in Ghana, Tanzania, DRC and Colombia. He holds Master's degrees from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications de Paris and from Universite Paris IX Dauphine.

Jo Leclere

Mr. Jo Leclere has been Executive Vice President of Human Resources at Millicom International Cellular SA since 2011. He joined the Company in February 2009 as Head of Reward and Performance, having previously been Vice President of Operations Europe at NorthgateArinso, a global HR consulting and outsourcing provider. Prior to this position, he was HR Services Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds a Master's degree in Law, as well as a postgraduate degree in Tax and a Bachelors degree in Economics.

Arthur Bastings

Mr. Arthur Bastings has served as Executive Vice President Africa at Millicom International Cellular SA since May 2013. Previously, he was Chief Executive at online games developer Bigpoint. Prior to this, he was Managing Director of Discovery Communications Europe. Before that, he had senior roles at Time Warner and Viacom. His early career was in strategy consulting and brand development.

Martin Lewerth

Mr. Martin Lewerth has served as Executive Vice President of Home and Digital Media at Millicom International Cellular SA since December 7, 2012. He was Executive Vice President Pay TV and Technology at MTG. He joined MTG in 2001, where he served in various management positions including CTO for MTG, CEO for the IPTV distribution, Business area manager for the Pay TV business and manager responsible for the group's online strategy and operations. Before joining MTG, he worked for the management consulting firm Applied Value and the Swedish company SKF Group. He holds a Master of Science from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden.

Mr. Martin Weiss has been appointed Executive Vice President, Strategy and Corporate Development at Millicom International Cellular SA, effective as of June 2013.He was previously founding Partner at Solon Management Consulting where he developed experience advising telecommunications and media companies internationally including consultancy to the Company. He began his business career at McKinsey & Company.

Marc Zagar

Mr. Marc Zagar has served as Executive Vice President of Controlling and Analytics at Millicom International Cellular SA since December 7, 2012 and he has been appointed Deputy Chief Financial Officer of the Company effective as of June 2014. He has also been appointed Interim Chief Financial Officer of the Company for a period from August 31, 2013 until June 2014. Prior to joining Millicom and since October 2011, Mr. Zagar was EVP Finance at MTG. He joined MTG in 2001 as Business Area Controller of Viasat broadcasting. In March 2006, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer for MTG's broadcasting businesses. Prior to joining MTG, he worked for over 10 years in various financial management positions within Vivendi Universal, having started his career with Steelcase Strafor. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree from CESEM Business School in Reims (Reims Management School) and has a Master's degree from Universite Paris Dauphine.

Tomas Eliasson

Mr. Tomas Eliasson has been Member of the Board of Directors of Millicom International Cellular SA since May 27, 2014. He has been Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice-President of Electrolux, the Swedish household and professional appliances manufacturer, since 2012. He previously held various management positions in Sweden and abroad at ABB Group from 1987–2002, was Chief Financial Officer of Seco Tools AB from 2002–2006 and Chief Financial Officer of ASSA ABLOY AB from 2006–2012. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Uppsala.

Amelia Fawcett

Dame Amelia C. Fawcett has been Member of the Board of Directors of Millicom International Cellular SA since May 27, 2014. She is the Deputy Chairman of Investment AB Kinnevik. She is also Chairman of the Hedge Fund Standards Board in London, a Non-Executive Director of State Street Corporation in Boston, Massachusetts, where she chairs the Risk and Capital Committee, and a Non-Executive Director of HM Treasury in London. Between 2007 and 2013, she was a Non-Executive Director and then Chairman of the Guardian Media Group, one of the UK’s media companies, and between 2007 and 2010, she was Chairman of Pensions First, a financial services and systems solutions business, which she helped set up. From 1987 to 2007 she worked for Morgan Stanley, first as an executive and then in an advisory role. She started her career at the United States law firm of Sullivan and Cromwell, first in New York then in Paris. She has a BA degree in history from Wellesley and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia.

Dominique Lafont

Mr. Dominique Lafont has been Member of the Board of Directors of Millicom International Cellular SA since May 27, 2014. He has been Chief Executive Officer of Bollore Africa Logistics since 2006. He joined the company in 1999 as the Financial Director for Africa at the Bollore Group before being appointed the Managing Director of its Anglophone Africa Unit in 2003. Prior to this he held senior positions at the Saga Group, the Rivaud Group and Sogea of the Vinci Group. He began his career at Arthur Andersen in France. He holds an MBA from the ESSEC Business School and a degree in business law from the Pantheon-Assas University in Paris.

Mia Brunell Livfors

Ms. Mia Brunell Livfors has served as Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of Millicom International Cellular SA since May 2007. She is Chairman of the CSR Committee and Member of the Compensation Committee of the Company. Additionally to her current duties at the Company, she acts as Chairman of the Board of Metro International S.A. and Member of the Board of Tele2 AB, Modern Times Group MTG AB, BillerudKorsnas AB, CDON Group and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB. From August 2006, she has been Chief Executive Officer of Investment AB Kinnevik, a Swedish public company managing a portfolio of long term investments in a number of public companies such as Millicom. She joined the Kinnevik-owned company, Modern Times Group MTG AB in 1992, and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2001. Between 2006 and 2008, she was Member of the Board of CTC Media, Inc., a Russian associated company of Modern Times Group. She was also a Member of the Board of Transcom Worldwide SA from 2006 until 2012. Ms. Mia Brunell Livfors holds a degree in Business Administration from Stockholms universitet.

Lorenzo Grabau

Mr. Lorenzo Grabau has served as Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of Millicom International Callular SA since May 28, 2013. He is one of the three founders of Rouge Partners, an investment company. He has been Member of the Board of Directors of Modern Times Group MTG AB, of SoftKinetic BV, and of Rouge Partners S.a.r.l. Previously, he was a Partner and Managing Director at Goldman Sachs International in London. On April 30, 2013 he was appointed as Non-Executive Director and Co-Chair of CTC Media, a Russian associated company of MTG AB. He was also nominated for the Board of Directors of Investment AB Kinnevik on May 13, 2013. He holds a degree in Economics and Business from La Sapienza University (Universita degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza), Italy.

Paul Donovan

Mr. Paul Donovan has served as Non-Executive Independent Director of Millicom International Cellular SA since May 2009. He is Member of the Audit Committee of the Company. He was director and Chief Executive Officer of Eircom from July 2009 to September 2012. Prior to this he was Chief Executive for EMAPA Region for the Vodafone Group until 2008. His background includes a decade in the consumer goods industry, before he moved into the technology sector, principally with BT and Vodafone. His career with Vodafone began in 1999 and, since 2004, he has overseen Vodafone's operations in subsidiaries in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific. Africa, the United States, India and China were added to his remit in 2006. Mr. Donovan holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Bradford University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University College London.

Ariel Eckstein

Mr. Ariel Eckstein has served as Non-Executive Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Millicom International Callular SA since May 28, 2013. He has been Managing Director for LinkedIn EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) since March 2011. Prior to his current role, he was Managing Director for LinkedIn’s Hiring Solutions business in EMEA. Before joining LinkedIn, he was Vice President of Business Expansion for AOL Inc. Europe. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Tufts University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from University of Virginia.

Alejandro Santo Domingo Davila

Mr. Alejandro Santo Domingo Davila has served as Non-Executive Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Millicom International Callular SA since May 28, 2013. He is Managing Director at Quadrant Capital Advisors Inc. He is also Member of the Board of Directors of SABMiller Plc, and serves as Vice-Chairman of SABMiller Latin America. He sits on the Boards of a number of the companies controlled by his family-owned business, the Santo Domingo Group. He is Chairman of the Board of Bavaria S.A. in Colombia, and Chairman of Backus and Johnston in Peru. Additionally, he serves as Chairman of the Board of Valorem S.A., and as Director of the Board of Caracol Television S.A. He is Member of the Board and Treasurer of Aid for AIDS and a Trustee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University.

Nicolas Didio

Mr. Nicolas Didio has been appointed Head of Investor Relations at Millicom International Cellular SA effective as of April 1, 2014. He joined from BNP Paribas Investment Partners where he was Investment Analyst in Telecoms. Prior to BNP Paribas, he was from 2006 until 2012 a Vice President at Exane BNP Paribas covering Telecoms and Media. Before that he was an analyst at Natixis Securities and Natexis Capital. He has a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance and is a certified EFFAS Financial Analyst.
