David Tennant

 Mr. David B. Tennant is an Independent Chairman of the Board of Directors of Major Drilling Group International Inc. Mr. Tennant is a senior partner at McCarthy Tétrault, LLP, one of Canada’s law firms. He has been a partner at the firm since 1990, where he practices corporate and securities law and provides corporate governance advice to several corporations.

Francis McGuire

 Mr. Francis P. McGuire is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Major Drilling Group International Inc. Mr. McGuire has been President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation since August, 2000. Mr. McGuire has served as Deputy Minister of the Department of Economic Development and Tourism of New Brunswick. Mr. McGuire holds an M.A. in international studies, trade and economics from Johns Hopkins University, a diploma in European politics from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris and a B.A. from Dalhousie University. Mr. McGuire holds a directorship with Industrial Alliance. Mr. McGuire has been a Director of the Corporation since 2001.

Denis Larocque

 Mr. Denis Larocque is Chief Financial Officer of Major Drilling Group International Inc. Since June 13, 2005 Mr. Larocque has been an Officer of the Company, initially as Vice President, Finance and then as of June 12, 2006, as Chief Financial Officer. Previously he was Corporate Controller of the Company. Mr. Larocque has been with the Company since 1994.

Robert Newburn

 Mr. Robert J. Newburn is an Executive Vice President, Australian, Asian and African Operations of Major Drilling Group International Inc. He joined the Company in 2002 as Area Manager for the Townsville branch in Australia and in 2003 was promoted to his current position. Mr. Newburn brings over thirty years of experience in drilling operation management to this position, starting as a driller assistant in 1978 and progressing through to senior supervisor in various countries, gaining experience and knowledge of the drilling industry before switching to product sales and management. In 1994 Mr. Newburn became the Contracts Area Manager for Boart Longyear and then held the position of Australian Contracts Manager for that company before joining the Company

 Mr. David D. Balser is Vice President - Finance of Major Drilling Group International Inc., since March 3, 2007. Mr. Balser has been an Officer of the Company, as Vice President, Finance. He was International Controller and then Corporate Controller of the Company from November 2005 to March 2007 and prior to that he was employed by Cott Beverages Canada as Finance Manager.

Denis Despres

 Mr. Denis Despres is Vice President, North American Operations of Major Drilling Group International Inc. Mr. Despres joined the Corporation in February, 2010 when the Corporation purchased SMD Services. From May, 2009 until its purchase by the Corporation he was President of that company. Prior to that, from 2002 until December, 2007 he was Vice President of drilling services for a global drilling company.

Edward Breiner

 Mr. Edward J. Breiner is an Independent Director of Major Drilling Group International Inc. Mr. Breiner has been President and CEO of Schramm, Inc., a manufacturer of mobile tophead rotary drill rigs, located in West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA, since 2005. He has 30 years of experience in manufacturing, marketing and sales of drill rigs and construction equipment. In addition to his role on the Schramm board, Mr. Breiner serves on a number of non-profit boards. Jean Desrosiers

 Mr. Jean Desrosiers is an Independent Director of Major Drilling Group International Inc. Mr. Desrosiers has been Vice President – Mining Operations for Xstrata Zinc Canada responsible for mining operations and exploration since the acquisition by Xstrata Plc. of Falconbridge Ltd. in 2006. Prior to that, Mr. Desrosiers was Vice President Zinc for Falconbridge and Noranda responsible for Zinc mining operations since 1998. Mr. Desrosiers graduated as a mining engineer in 1971 from Ecole Polytechnique in Montréal and has 40 years experience in the mining business.

Frederick Dyment

 Mr. Fred J. Dyment is an Independent Director of Major Drilling Group International Inc. Mr. Dyment is an experienced senior executive and Board Director, with 35 years of experience in the oil and natural gas industries. From 1978 to 2000, Mr. Dyment held senior positions with Ranger Oil Limited, including CFO, and President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Dyment held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer at Maxx Petroleum Company from 2000 to 2001. Mr. Dyment is Chairman of Western Zagros Resources Ltd., an international natural resources company engaged in acquiring properties and exploring for, developing and producing crude oil and natural gas. He serves on the Board of Directors of Tesco Corporation, ARC Resources and Transglobe Energy Corporation.

David Fennell

 Mr. David A. Fennell is an Independent Director of Major Drilling Group International Inc. Mr. Fennell held the position of Chairman and CEO of Cambiex Explorations Ltd., later Hope Bay Gold Corporation, until the merger of Hope Bay Gold and Miramar Mining Corporation where he continued as Executive Vice-Chairman for the combined entity until its takeover in January, 2008 by Newmont Mining Corporation. He was Chairman of Ariane Gold Corp. from August, 2002 until its acquisition by Cambior Inc. in November, 2003 and was a director of Palmarejo Silver and Gold Corporation until its merger with Coeur d'Alene Mines Corporation in December, 2007. He was Chairman of Maximus Ventures Ltd. until its business combination with NFX Gold Inc., now Bear Lake Gold Ltd., where he is Chairman. He is Chairman of Reunion Gold Corporation and Dunav Resources Ltd. and Executive Chairman of Odyssey Resources Limited. Mr. Fennell holds additional directorships with Avala Resources Ltd., Sutter Gold Mining Inc., Sabina Gold & Silver Corp, and Torex Gold Resources Ltd.

Catherine McLeod-Seltzer

 Ms. Catherine McLeod-Seltzer is an Independent Director of Major Drilling Group International Inc. Ms. McLeod-Seltzer has been a founder of mining ventures such as Arequipa Resources, Francisco Gold, Peru Copper, Bear Creek Mining, Stornoway Diamonds and Pacific Rim Mining, and in addition has been an independent Director of companies such as Miramar Mining and Kinross Gold. Ms. McLeod-Seltzer’s principal occupation for the past five years has been as a corporate director. She is a director of Pacific Rim Mining, Bear Creek Mining Corporation, Kinross Gold Corporation, and Troon Ventures Ltd.

Janice Rennie

 Ms. Janice Gaye Rennie is an Independent Director of Major Drilling Group International Inc. Ms. Rennie is a graduate of the University of Alberta (BComm.) and a Chartered Accountant. Ms. Rennie was Sr. Vice President, Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness for Epcor Utilities Inc. from 2004 to 2005. Prior to 2004 she was Principal of Rennie & Associates, which provided investment and related advice to small and mid-size companies.
