Name Description

Christopher McFadden

Mr. Christopher D. McFadden is Chairman of the Board of Mauna Kea Technologies SA. He graduated from University of Richmond with a Bachelors degree in Political Science. Mr. McFadden is also Trustee of Montefiore Medical Center and The Natural History Museum of the Adirondacks.

Sacha Loiseau

Mr. Sacha Loiseau is Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Mauna Kea Technologies SAS. He founded Mauna Kea Technologies in May 2000 and has been the CEO ever since. In July 2011, he successfully led the company to an initial public offering on the NYSE Euronext Paris index. He started his career at the National Center for Space Studies (CNES) in Toulouse and at the Paris Observatory, then joined NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, California, as a research scientist. He is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris and has a Ph.D. in Astrophysics and Optical Instrumentation.

Christopher Tihansky

Mr. Christopher (Chris) E. Tihansky serves as resident, North America and Chief Development Officer at Mauna Kea Technologies SA. Previously, he served as President of its US subsidiary. He started his career as a Project Engineer then as a Sales Representative in orthopedics. In the mid-1990’s, he was Senior Healthcare Analyst at Genesis Merchant Group, an investment banking firm based in San Francisco. He then joined Telefex Medical where he was appointed Vice President and General Manager for the surgical instrument business. In 2003, Mr. Tihansky became President and Chief Executive Officer of Surgical Services, Inc. Mr. Tihansky holds an MBA from the University of San Diego, an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University.

Bruno Villaret

Mr. Bruno Villaret has been General Manager, Asia-Pacific at Mauna Kea Technologies SA since 2012. He started his career as an Export Area Manager for Sapag, a division of Saint-Gobain, then worked 15 years for Tyco Fire & Building Products, where he was appointed General Manager Asia Pacific. In January 2009, Mr. Villaret joined Mauna Kea Technologies to develop the Asia-Pacific market for Cellvizio. In 2010, he was named responsible for the deployment of Cellvizio in all territories excluding North America, France and Germany.

Francois Lacombe

Mr. Francois Lacombe serves as Chief Scientific Officer at Mauna Kea Technologies SA. He is the author of more than 150 scientific papers and 10 patents. He spent 14 years working on international astronomical projects such as ISOCAM, ADONIS and most recently NAOS, the adaptive optics system for the Telescope in Chile. Mr. Lacombe has been collaborating with Mauna Kea Technologies SAS since its inception and joined full time in 2005. He is a graduate of Ecole Normale Superieure and holds a Ph.D. in Astrophysics.

Christophe Bailleul

Mr. Christophe Bailleul is Vice-President Clinical Affairs, Health Economics and Market Access of Mauna Kea Technologies SAS. He joined Mauna Kea Technologies in 2015 and brings a wealth of clinical knowledge to the company with more than 25 years of international experience in the biotech and medical device sectors. He started his career in a French biotech startup affiliate of the National Blood Transfusion Foundation in the late 80s. He then spent 5 years in Germany as a research and quality assurance manager in a young CRO, PRA International. He also worked in the clinical development field at Ela Medical, which is part of Sorin Group. From 2002 on he was based in Belgium as the VP of Clinical Affairs and Health Economics of the International Division at St. Jude Medical. He holds multiple academic degrees including, an engineering degree from the Universite de technologie de Compiegne in France, an MSc in blood transfusion and immunology, a PhD in immuno-biotechnologies and an MBA from ESSEC in Paris, France.

Sebastien Cadet

Mr. Sebastien Cadet is Global Director of Marketing and OEM Leader of Mauna Kea Technologies SAS. A seasoned medical device marketing executive, he held various positions in product management, product development, direct and B2B marketing management at W.O.M., a major OEM provider of surgical and medical instruments. Based in Orlando for the past 15 years, he launched and grew market shares for various product lines and acquired direct sales experience as well in the field of breast cancer care and laser lithotripsy. He is Pragmatic Marketing Certified and holds a Biomedical Engineer degree from Polytech Marseille (Ecole Superieure d'Ingenieurs).

Agnes Rouffiac

Ms. Agnes Rouffiac is the Director of Human Resources of Mauna Kea Technologies SA. She joined the Company in July 2011. She began her business career in 1991 at the French offices of Reckitt Benckiser. For the following eight years, she worked in the Marketing Department as a Product Manager and Category Leader. From 1999 to 2000 (following the Reckitt & Colman/Benckiser merger), she served as Integration Manager for the Head Office. From 2000 to 2002, she pursued her career as Category Manager and notably stood in for the Marketing Director for one year. In 2002, she was promoted to Trade Marketing Director at Reckitt Benckiser. Two years later, she began her career as a Human Resources Manager within the same group and, for the next seven years, managed the Human Resources activities of the group’s only industrial facility in France. She is a graduate of HEC Paris business school and also obtained a Master’s in Economics in Brazil.

Veronique Dentan

Ms. Veronique Dentan serves as Director of Operations at Mauna Kea Technologies SA. She began her career at the Thales Central Laboratory, first as a research engineer, then as Head of the Organic Materials laboratory. She then went to Photonetics, a telecom company sold to GN NetTest in 2000, where she worked as Chief Technical Officer setting up and developping the R&D and engineering departments for Optical Components. Before joining Mauna Kea Technologies, Ms. Dentan also spent 2 years at IXsea, a French Company specialized in fiber-optics based inertial sensors where she was responsible for the OCTANS gyrocompass product line. She holds a Ph.D. in Non-Linear Optics.

Jean-Luc Boulnois

Dr. Jean-Luc Boulnois is Member of the Board of Mauna Kea Technologies SAS. He is the Executive Chairman of the Board at Microline Surgical, an innovative minimally-invasive surgical instrument company with which he has been involved for 18 years as an investor and then, from 2005 to 2013 as CEO, heading a period of uninterrupted growth. He was also CEO of Sometec from 1995 to 1999 and President and COO of Technomed International from 1989 to 1994, two medical technology companies. With French and American dual citizenship, Mr. Boulnois has been living in Boston for close to 30 years. He holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University and an Executive MBA from HEC.

Marie Meynadier

Dr. Marie Meynadier is Board Member of Mauna Kea Technologies SAS. She graduated from Ecole Normale Superieure with a PhD and from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications as an Electrical Engineer. She is the CEO of EOS Imaging (Euronext: EOSI, FR0011191766). She began her career at the prestigious Bell Labs, and then steered the management of major development programs in France in the fields of electronics, optics and microelectronics, which led to the creation of several start-ups.

Joseph DeVivo

Dr. Joseph M. DeVivo serves as Non-Executive Independent Director of the Company. Dr. DeVivo is the President and Chief Executive Officer of AngioDynamics (NASDAQ: ANGO), a leading provider of innovative, minimally invasive medical devices for vascular access, surgery, peripheral vascular disease and oncology. Dr. DeVivo started his career with U.S. Surgical where he held a number of senior positions in sales, marketing and R&D. He then served as President of Computer Motion Incorporated, leading a turnaround and successful merger with Intuitive Surgical. Later, Dr. DeVivo was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of RITA Medical Systems, which he transformed into a world-leader in medical device oncology. In 2007, he was appointed as Global President of Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics. In September 2011 , he was named President and Chief Executive Officer at AngioDynamics. Dr. DeVivo currently sits on the Board of Directors for AngioDynamics and the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), and is the Chairman of the SurgiQuest, Inc. Board of Directors.
