Daniel Springer

Mr. Daniel D. Springer is Chairperson of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of Responsys Inc., since April 2004. From April 2002 to February 2004, Mr. Springer was Managing Director in the San Francisco office of Modem Media, an interactive marketing agency that was acquired by Digitas Inc. in 2004. From September 2000 to July 2001, Mr. Springer was the Chief Executive Officer of Telleo, Inc., an online communication platform linking local businesses and consumers. From December 1997 to September 2000, Mr. Springer was Chief Marketing and Sales Officer and General Manager for NextCard, Inc. Mr. Springer holds an M.B.A. from Harvard University and a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Occidental College.

Chris Paul

Mr. Christian A. Paul is Chief Financial Officer of Responsys Inc., since August 2006. From April 2002 to May 2005, Mr. Paul served as Vice President of Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer at Determine Software Inc., a provider of enterprise contract management solutions. Mr. Michael Della Penna has been appointed as Senior Vice President - Emerging Channels of Responsys, Inc., effective May 29, 2012. Della Penna brings 25 years of marketing experience to Responsys. Before joining the company, Della Penna founded SuiteDialog, which specialized in building social CRM solutions and digital marketing programs that drove interactive conversations, engagement and life-time value. Della Penna also founded Conversa Marketing, another social CRM venture that was acquired by StrongMail Systems in 2010. Before founding his own companies, Della Penna served as Chief Marketing Officer at Epsilon, playing an integral role in the company's strategic marketing, branding, market positioning, lead generation, and communications efforts. Della Penna's other key marketing and leadership roles included: Chief Marketing Officer of Bigfoot Interactive, Vice President of Strategic Development at CNET Networks, and Vice President of Marketing at ZDNet. Steve Krause

Mr. Steve Krause has been appointed as Senior Vice President - Product Management of Responsys, Inc., effective 06 September 2012. Krause brings over fifteen years of executive level experience in product management and design to Responsys. He was Co-Founder and CTO of Personify, a pioneering Internet marketing analytics and personalization company. Later, he was Co-Founder and CEO of ExactChoice, which developed Web-based applications for complex product-data analytics and merchandising on the Web and was acquired by CNET in 2004. At CNET, he co-founded and led the Intelligent Cross-Sell group, which had four of the top ten Internet Retailer 500 sites among its customers. Krause reports to Antonio Casacuberta, Chief Product Officer at Responsys.

Mr. Donald E. Smith is Chief Information Officer of Responsys Inc. From August 2005 to April 2006, Mr. Smith was a Venture Partner at Sigma Partners, a venture capital firm. During 2005, Mr. Smith also provided technical and business consulting services to a number of on-demand businesses. From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Smith was the Senior Vice President of Customer Advocacy at Extensity, Inc., an internet-based employee relationship management solutions company that was acquired by Geac Computer Corporation Limited in 2002. Mr. Edwin J. Gillis is Independent Director of Responsys Inc., since March 2011. Mr. Gillis has worked as a business consultant and private investor since January 2006. Most recently, Mr. Gillis was an executive advisor at Skype S.a.r.l. where he was engaged by Silver Lake Partners from October 2009 to February 2010 as part of their acquisition of Skype.
