Name Description

Edward Lee

Mr. Edward C. Lee has been appointed as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of Nevada Clean Magnesium Inc., effective December 11, 2012. He was appointed as CEO of the Company in December 2012. Previously, he served as the Company’s President. Ed served on the boards of American Manganese, Inc. and Goldrea Resources Corp. and previously he was a Director and Executive Vice President for Adanac Molybdenum Corp. Ed has over 13 years’ experience assisting public companies in capital formation and strategic business development.

James Sever

Mr. James Sever serves as President, Chief Operating Officer, Director of Nevada Clean Magnesium Inc. Mr. Sever is currently providing technical assistance on ScanMag AS's materials testing program for its magnesium project in Glomfjord, Norway. He is also overseeing the building of the bench-scale pilot furnace which is expected to demonstrate proof of concept for the Tami Mosi project, as announced Oct. 6, 2015. A professional engineer with an M S in metallurgical engineering and an MBA, Mr. Sever has over 40 years of experience in non-ferrous metals, chemical, industrial and operational management. He is president of Alpha Omega Engineering Inc. of Spokane, Wash., a private consulting company, providing international consultation on light metals production and use. His extensive career includes being employed for 10 years by Alcoa at Northwest Alloys Inc. as technical operations manager for the Addy magnesium plant located near Spokane, Wash.

Stephen Thorlakson

Mr. Stephen Thorlakson is Interim Chief Financial Officer, Director of Nevada Clean Magnesium Inc., He brings Nevada Clean a wealth of experience in the construction project management and logistics industry, as well as extensive financial and business management expertise, having worked more than three decades within the financial services industry. As founder and president of the Canadian consulting firm Thorlakson Management Ltd., he has provided guidance, direction and hands-on management of major industrial and business development projects for clients that have included Canadian Silica Industries, LaPrairie Works Inc. and Eh-Cho Dene Enterprises. From 2006 through 2010, he served as general manager of Surerus Pipeline Inc., where he was responsible for policy research, development and implementation, as well as project estimating and project management, for the industrial pipeline company that has installed over 7,000 kilometres of pipe through some of Canada's toughest terrain since its founding in 1969. From 1980 until 2006, Mr. Thorlakson was a self-employed chartered financial planner in Fort St. John, B.C., a city for which he served as mayor from 1990 through 2005 and alderman from 1986 through 1990. He began his professional career working at Toronto Dominion Bank as branch manager and senior assistant manager of commercial credit.

Boris Chubukov

Mr. Boris Chubukov serves as Director of the Company. Mr. Chubukov is appointed as Director of Reseach and Development for the Company and holds a Masters in Chemical Engineering and B.S. degrees in both Chemical and Biological Engineering and Molecular Biology Engineering. His work is focused on chemical reaction engineering, modeling chemical reactions, and high temperature reactor design. Mr. Chubukov has recently focused on the carbothermal reduction of magnesium oxide leading to a first-author peer-reviewed manuscript and several conference proceedings at the annual conferences of the American Institute of Chemical Engineering (AIChE), The Minerals Metals & Materials Society (TMS), and the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration (SME).

Aaron Palumbo

Dr. Aaron Palumbo, Ph.D. serves as Director of the Company. He is appointed to the position of Executive Vice President of NCM and holds a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biological Engineering. He is the current President and CEO of Big Blue Technologies LLC, a company formed to develop and commercialize a continuous process method for primary production of magnesium metal via carbothermal reduction. Dr. Palumbo is an author and contributor of many peer-reviewed mansuscripts, conference proceedings, and patent applications. He formerly managed a three-year, $4 Million research project as a Research Associate at the University of Colorado at Boulder. During this time, he refined his business acumen, technical skill-set, and grant-writing ability as a precursor to forming Big Blue Technologies LLC.

Scott Rowe

Mr. Scott Rowe serves as Director of the Company. Mr. Rowe is appointed as Director of Reseach and Development for the Company and holds Masters degrees in both Chemical Engineering and Plant & Microbial Biology. Accredited with several publications and experience in multiple disciplines such as process design, feedback and model predictive control, distillation intensification, and measurement and instrumentation are assets toward business endeavours. His experience includes the commissioning of a new $1 Million renewable energy test bed at the University of Colorado Boulder, factory acceptance of a $400,000 "solar simulator" for testing renewable industrial concepts, and the management of multiple personnel. His background in control and analysis of complex biological and industrial systems provides him with perspective and understanding of the interactions and emergent properties that pose engineering challenges. Mr. Rowe has built the mathematical analogs needed to understand, program, and control these systems, relevant skills in the ideation and implementation of pilot facilities for magnesium production.

Robert Brown

Mr. Robert Brown is Independent Director of Nevada Clean Magnesium Inc. He brings with him over 50 years of industry experience in both ferrous and non-ferrous materials that includes twenty years in the technical management areas of light metal foundries and reduction plants. Robert has consulted to major international magnesium companies to assist in evaluation, planning, budgeting, design, marketing and trouble-shooting new operations. He has held various positions throughout the many stages and departments of magnesium production and operations.

Jeff Wilson

Dr. Jeff Wilson, Ph.D, PGeo., is an Independent Director of the Company. Dr. Wilson was a prestigious research fellow at Rhodes University in South Africa, where he focused his studies on granite emplacement and tin-tungsten mineralization in the Bushveld complex. He earned a PhD in geology from Kingston University in England and a bachelor of science degree in geology from Glasgow University in Scotland. A recognized industry leader, Dr. Wilson has authored more than 22 published papers and articles and delivered nearly two dozen presentations at various academic and industry events, workshops and seminars around the world.
