Name Description

Michael Hsing

Mr. Michael R. Hsing is Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of Monolithic Power Systems Inc. He has served on Board and as President and Chief Executive Officer since founding Monolithic Power Systems in August 1997. In 2010, Mr. Hsing was appointed as Chairman of the Board. Before founding the Company, Mr. Hsing held senior technical positions at Supertex, Inc. and Micrel, Inc. Mr. Hsing is an inventor on numerous patents related to the process development of bipolar mixed-signal semiconductor manufacturing. Mr. Hsing holds a B.S.E.E. from the University of Florida.

Meera Rao

Ms. Meera P. Rao is Chief Financial Officer, Principal Financial and Accounting Officer of Monolithic Power Systems Inc., since January 2011. Ms. Rao joined the company in January 2009 and served as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller. Prior to joining MPS, she was the principal in her own consulting practice, working with various semiconductor companies, including MPS, where she set up business operations in Chengdu, China in 2006. Ms. Rao has more than 20 years of experience with semiconductor and high technology companies and has held various senior executive positions, including CFO of Integration Associates, Vice President of Finance and Interim CFO at Atrica, Vice President of Finance at Raza Foundries, Corporate Controller and Interim CFO at nVIDIA, as well as various positions at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). Ms. Rao is a CPA and holds an MBA from the University of Rochester.

Deming Xiao

Mr. Deming Xiao is President - MPS Asia Operations of Monolithic Power Systems Inc., since January 2008. Since joining in May 2001, Mr. Xiao has held several executive positions, including Foundry Manager and Senior Vice President of Operations. Before joining the company, from June 2000 to May 2001, Mr. Xiao was Engineering Account Manager at Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing, Inc. Prior to that, Mr. Xiao spent 6 years as the Manager of Process Integration Engineering at Fairchild Imaging Sensors. Mr. Xiao holds a B.S. in Semiconductor Physics from Sichuan University, Chengdu, China and a M.S.E.E. from Wayne State University.

Maurice Sciammas

Mr. Maurice Sciammas is Senior Vice President - Worldwide Sales and Marketing of Monolithic Power Systems Inc., since 2007. Mr. Sciammas joined the Company in July 1999 and served as Vice President of Products and Vice President of Sales (excluding greater China) until he was appointed to his current position. Before joining the Company, he was Director of IC Products at Supertex from 1990 to 1999. He has also held positions at Micrel, Inc. He holds a B.S.E.E. degree from San Jose State University.

Saria Tseng

Ms. Saria Tseng is Vice President - Strategic Corporate Development, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary of Monolithic Power Systems Inc. Ms. Tseng has served as Vice President and General Counsel since November 2004. Ms. Tseng joined the Company from MaXXan Systems, Inc., a privately held provider of intelligent storage networking solutions, where she was also Vice President and General Counsel from January 2001 to November 2004. Prior to her corporate experience, Ms. Tseng was an attorney at Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich, LLP from July 1999 to January 2001. Previously, she practiced law at Wang & Wang and Jones Day, Reavis & Pogue. Ms. Tseng is a member of the state bar in both California and New York and is a member of the bar association of the Republic of China (Taiwan). She holds Masters of Law degrees from Boalt Hall, University of California at Berkeley and the Chinese Culture University in Taipei.

Herbert Chang

Mr. Herbert Chang is Lead Independent Director of Monolithic Power Systems Inc. He has served on the Board since September 1999. Mr. Chang has been the President of InveStar Capital, Inc. since April 1996, Chief Executive Officer of C Squared Management Corporation since April 2004, and is currently a Managing Member of Growstar Associates, Ltd., which is the General Partner and the Fund Manager of VCFA Growth Partners, L.P. Mr. Chang’s companies focus on investing in companies in the semiconductor, telecommunications, networking, software, and/or Internet industries. Mr. Chang serves on the board of directors of a number of private companies. Mr. Chang received a B.S. in geology from National Taiwan University and an M.B.A. from National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan.

James Moyer

Mr. James C. Moyer is Director of Monolithic Power Systems Inc., since October 1998. He has served on the Board since October 1998 and has served as Chief Design Engineer since September 1997. Before joining the Company, from June 1990 to September 1997, Mr. Moyer held senior technical positions at Micrel, Inc. Prior to that, Mr. Moyer held senior design engineering positions at Hytek Microsystems Inc., National Semiconductor Corporation, and Texas Instruments Inc. Mr. Moyer holds a B.A.E.E. from Rice University.

Karen Bogart

Ms. Karen A. Smith Bogart is Independent Director of Monolithic Power Systems Inc., since May 2007. Ms. Smith Bogart is President of Pacific Tributes Inc., a start-up firm located in Santa Barbara, CA, a position that she has held since 2006. From 2003 to 2006, Ms. Smith Bogart was Chairman and President, Greater Asia Region and Senior Vice President of Eastman Kodak Company, located in Shanghai, China. She is also a lecturer in business strategy, product management, organizational capabilities, and leadership at the University of California at Santa Barbara. Ms. Smith Bogart previously managed many of Eastman Kodak’s global businesses, including Kodak Professional Imaging, Consumer Printing, and Consumer Cameras and Batteries. Ms. Bogart is also a director for Mohawk Industries, Inc. Ms. Smith Bogart holds a B.A. in Political Science from the State University of New York at Geneseo; a Masters in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University; an M.B.A. from the University of Rochester; and a Master of Arts in Human Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University.

Eugen Elmiger

Mr. Eugen Elmiger is Independent Director of Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. since October 23, 2012. Mr. Elmiger currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Maxon group, a advanced motion company, a position that he has held since January 2011. From 1991 to 2011, Mr. Elmiger held senior executive positions in the sales, marketing and engineering divisions of Maxon motor. Mr. Elmiger holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Lucerne (Horw) University of Applied Science and Art.

Victor Lee

Mr. Victor K. Lee is Independent Director of Monolithic Power Systems Inc., since September 2006. Mr. Lee served as Chief Financial Officer of Ambarella, Inc., a fabless semiconductor company from August 2007 to March 2011. From December 2002 through June 2007, Mr. Lee served as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of Leadis Technology Inc., a fabless semiconductor company. From February 2001 until December 2002, Mr. Lee was engaged as an independent consultant and from December 1999 to January 2001, Mr. Lee served as the Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of SINA Corporation, an Internet media company. From September 1998 to August 1999, Mr. Lee was the Vice President and Acting Chief Financial Officer of VLSI Technology, Inc., a semiconductor manufacturer, and from 1997 to 1998, Vice President, Corporate Controller of VLSI Technology, Inc. From 1989 to 1997, Mr. Lee was a finance director at Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. Mr. Lee holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research and an M.B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.

Douglas McBurnie

Mr. Douglas M. McBurnie is Independent Director of Monolithic Power Systems Inc., since May 2007. Mr. McBurnie is a retired semiconductor executive with over 35 years of industry experience. Since 1998, Mr. McBurnie served as a consultant to and director for several public and private technology companies, including Leadis Technology, Inc. From 1997 to 1998, he was Senior Vice President, Computer, Consumer & Network Products Group of VLSI Technology, Inc. From 1994 to 1997, Mr. McBurnie served as Vice President and General Manager of several divisions at National Semiconductor. Mr. McBurnie holds a B.A. degree from Baldwin Wallace College.

Jeff Zhou

Dr. Jeff Zhou is Independent Director of Monolithic Power Systems Inc., since February 2010. Dr. Zhou currently serves as President of Hanergy Holding America, Inc., which develops thin film solar technology, a position he has held since 2012. Dr. Zhou was Vice President Product Engineering of Nanosolar, Inc. from 2011 to 2012. Dr. Zhou was Chief Operating Officer at NDS Surgical Imaging, a medical imaging technology company during 2010. From 2008 to 2009, Dr. Zhou was Vice President of Global Engineering and General Manager of Asia Pacific Business at NDS Surgical Imaging.
