Name Description

Curt Culver

Mr. Curt S. Culver has been appointed as Non-Executive Chairman of MGIC Investment Corp., effective March 1, 2015. He is no longer serve as Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective March 1, 2015. Culver began his career in the mortgage insurance business in 1976, joining MGIC in 1982. He became President in 1999 and was CEO and President from 2000 to January 2006. He has served as CEO and Chairman of the Board since January 2005.

Patrick Sinks

Mr. Patrick Sinks has been appointed as President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of MGIC Investment Corp and MGIC, a subsidiary of the Company effective March 1, 2015. Sinks has served as President and COO since January 2006. Previously, Sinks served as Executive Vice President – Field Operations from 2002. Sinks has also served as Senior Vice President – Controller and Chief Accounting Officer, and before that held a variety of positions within the Accounting and Finance Departments. Sinks earned his MBA from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Mary.

Timothy Mattke

Mr. Timothy J. Mattke has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of MGIC Investment Corporation effective March 3, 2014. He has been with the Company for over seven years. Prior to his becoming Controller, he was Assistant Controller of Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corporation ("MGIC"), since August 2007 and prior to that was a manager in MGIC's accounting department. Before joining MGIC, Mr. Mattke was an audit manager and an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, the Company's independent accountants. He has a BS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison as well an MA in Accountancy from that University and is a CPA.

Jeffrey Lane

Mr. Jeffrey H. Lane serves as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary of MGIC Investment Corp and MGIC, subsidiary of the Company. Prior thereto as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary from August 1996 to January 2008. For more than five years prior to Mr. Lane was a partner of Foley & Lardner, a law firm headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Julie Sperber

Ms. Julie Sperber is the Controller of MGIC Investment Corporation. Ms. Sperber has been with MGIC since 1998 and has held multiple positions with increasing responsibility in the company's finance department. She most recently held the title of Vice - President - Assistant Controller. Before joining MGIC, Ms. Sperber was an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, the Company's independent registered accounting firm. She has a BBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Gregory Chi

Mr. Gregory A. Chi serves as Senior Vice President – Information Services and Chief Information Officer of MGIC, a subsidiary of MGIC Investment Corp. Prior to joining MGIC, Mr. Chi had been Senior Vice President of Enterprise Delivery Services with SunTrust Bank since 2008. Prior to joining SunTrust, Mr. Chi had been Vice President, Information Technology Development Application with MetLife, Inc. since 2005. Prior to that, Mr. Chi held various senior management positions in the financial services industry.

Lawrence Pierzchalski

Mr. Lawrence J. Pierzchalski serves as Executive Vice President - Risk Management of MGIC, a subsidiary of MGIC Investment Corp. Prior thereto as Senior Vice President-Risk Management or Vice President-Risk Management of MGIC from April 1990 to May 1996. From March 1985 to April 1990, he held management positions with MGIC in the areas of market research, corporate planning and risk management.

Kenneth Jastrow

Mr. Kenneth M. Jastrow, II, serves as Lead Independent Director of MGIC Investment Corp. He a Director since 1994, has, since December 2007, been the non-executive Chairman of the Board of Forestar Group Inc. (“Forestar”), which is engaged in various real estate and natural resource businesses. From January 2000 until December 2007, Mr. Jastrow served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Temple-Inland Inc. (“TI”), a paper and forest products company which during Mr. Jastrow’s tenure also had interests in real estate and financial services. Mr. Jastrow currently serves as Lead Director. He is also a director of KB Home and Genesis Energy, LLC, the general partner of Genesis Energy, LP, a publicly-traded master limited partnership. In addition, during the past five years, Mr. Jastrow served as a director of Guaranty Financial Group and its subsidiary Guaranty Bank (from December 2007 through August 2008).

Daniel Arrigoni

Mr. Daniel A. Arrigoni has been appointed as Director of MGIC Investment Corporation with effect from July 25, 2013. Mr. Arrigoni was President and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Bank Home Mortgage Corp., one of the originators and servicers of home loans in the U.S., when he retired in early July 2013. Until his retirement, he also was an Executive Vice President of U.S. Bank, N.A. Mr. Arrigoni led the mortgage company for U.S. Bank and its predecessor companies since January 1996. Mr. Arrigoni is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Mortgage Bankers Association and has over 40 years of experience in the banking and home mortgage industries.

Cassandra Carr

Ms. Cassandra C. Carr is a Director of MGIC Investment Corporation. Ms. Carr is currently a consultant. She was Global Vice Chair of Talent at Hill+Knowlton Strategies before leaving in 2012, and spent nine years as a Senior Advisor for Public Strategies, Inc., both of which firms provide public relations services. Prior to joining Public Strategies, Ms. Carr held various senior-level positions with SBC Communications, Inc., which during her tenure became one of the world's largest telecommunications companies, including Senior Executive Vice President, External Affairs, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, and Senior Vice President - Finance and Treasurer.

C. Edward Chaplin

Mr. C. Edward Chaplin is Director of the Company. Mr. Chaplin has been President and Chief Financial Officer at MGIC Investment Corporation., a provider of financial guarantee insurance and the municipal bond-only insurer, since 2008. He was on MBIA’s Board from 2003 until 2006, when he left to become Chief Financial Officer of that company. Prior to joining MBIA, Mr. Chaplin was Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Prudential Financial Inc., a firm he joined in 1983 and for which he held various senior management positions, including Regional Vice President of Prudential Mortgage Capital Company.

Gary Poliner

Mr. Gary A. Poliner is a Director of MGIC Investment Corporation. He was President of Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company, the nation's largest direct provider of individual life insurance, and a member of its Board of Trustees, when he retired in June 2013. Mr. Poliner also held various senior-level positions at Northwestern Mutual, including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer.

Timothy Holt

Mr. Timothy A. Holt serves as an Independent Director of MGIC Investment Corp. He was an executive committee member and Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of Aetna, Inc., a diversified health care benefits company, when he retired in 2008 after 30 years of service. From 2004 through 2007, he also served as Chief Enterprise Risk Officer of Aetna. Prior to being named Chief Investment Officer in 1997, Mr. Holt held various senior management positions with Aetna, including Chief Financial Officer of Aetna Retirement Services and Vice President, Finance and Treasurer of Aetna. Mr. Holt served as a consultant to Aetna during 2008 and 2009 and currently provides investment consulting services to other insurance companies. Since 2008, Mr. Holt has served as a Director of Virtus Investment Partners, Inc. Mr. Holt has been designated as a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute, a global association of investment professionals.

Michael Lehman

Mr. Michael E. Lehman serves as an Independent Director of MGIC Investment Corp. He has been the Chief Financial Officer at Arista Networks, a cloud networking firm, since September 2012. He was previously the Chief Financial Officer of Palo Alto Networks, a privately-held network security firm, from April 2010 until February 2012. Prior to that, he was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Sun Microsystems, Inc., a provider of computer systems and professional support services, from February 2006 to January 2010, when Sun Microsystems, Inc. was acquired by Oracle Corporation. From July 2000 until his initial retirement in September 2002, he was Executive Vice President of Sun Microsystems; he was its Chief Financial Officer from February 1994 to July 2002, and held senior executive positions with Sun Microsystems for more than five years before then.

Donald Nicolaisen

Mr. Donald T. Nicolaisen serves as an Independent Director of MGIC Investment Corp. He was the Chief Accountant of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission from September 2003 to November 2005, when he retired from full time employment. Prior to joining the SEC, he was a Senior Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, an accounting firm that he joined in 1967. He is also a director of Verizon Communications Inc., Morgan Stanley and Zurich Insurance Group.

Mark Zandi

Dr. Mark M. Zandi, Ph.D., serves as an Independent Director of MGIC Investment Corp. He is Chief Economist of Moody’s Analytics, Inc., where he directs economic research. It is a subsidiary of Moody’s Corporation that is separately managed from Moody’s Investor Services, the rating agency subsidiary of Moody’s Corporation. Dr. Zandi is a trusted adviser to policymakers and an influential source of economic analysis for businesses, journalists and the public and he frequently testifies before Congress on economic matters.
