Evtushenko, Aleksandr Dr. Aleksandr Evdokimovich Evtushenko has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Mechel OAO since June 30, 2009. Prior to this, he acted as Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Mechel OAO from October 2004. From 2001 to 2004, he served as First Vice President of Sokolovskaya XK OAO. Between 1999 and 2000, he was President of the General Committee of Inter-State Eurasian Association of Coal and Metals. He also acted as First Deputy Fuels and Energy Minister of the Russian Federation from 1992 to1999. Between 1973 and1991, he served in various positions, including General Director (CEO) at Raspadskaya Mine in Kuzbass. Dr. Aleksandr Evdokimovich Evtushenko graduated from the Siberian Metallurgical Institute with a degree in Mining Engineering. He is a Doctor of Engineering and Member of Academy of Mining Sciences of Russia. He is the author of more than 50 scientific publications, including Mineral Resources of the Coal Industry of Russia.
Zyuzin, Igor Mr. Igor Vladimirovich Zyuzin has served as Chairman of the Management Board and General Director (CEO) at Mechel OAO since December 2006. Kolpakov, Serafim Dr. Serafim Vasilevich Kolpakov has served as Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Mechel OAO since October 2004. Since 1992, he has served as President of the International Metallurgists Union. From 1991 to 1992, he acted as Vice President of the Advanced Materials Association in Moscow. Between 1985 and 1991, he served as Minister of Metallurgy of the USSR and, from 1978 till 1985, First Deputy Minister and Deputy Minister of Metallurgy of the USSR. He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mechel OAO from June 29, 2007 to June 30, 2009. He was Member of the Company’s Board of Directors from March 2003 to June 29, 2007. After that, he worked at the Kuznetsk Metallurgical Plant named after Lenin and on mine Abashevskaya PO Yuzhkuzbassugol’ as Underground Miner, Electromechanic, Mechanic, and Site Chief. He graduated in Engineering from Siberian Metallurgical Institute in 1978. Mr. Igor Stepanovich Kozhukhovskiy holds a Ph.D. degree in Economics, and is author of a monograph and over twenty articles on various issues of economic policy in coal and electric power industries.
