M. Cyril Ramaphosa

 Mr. M. Cyril Ramaphosa BProc, LLD (HC), is Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of MTN Group Limited. He is Director of various companies in the MTN Group; founder and executive chairman of Shanduka Group (Pty) Ltd; non-executive chairman of The Bidvest Group Limited; joint executive chairman of Mondi Plc and Mondi Limited. Non-executive chairman of SASRIA Limited, non-executive director of SAB Miller plc, Macsteel Global BV, Alexander Forbes Limited and Standard Bank Group Limited. Cyril is also a director of Kangra Coal (Pty) Ltd, Assore Limited, TBWA Hunt Lascaris Holdings (Pty) Ltd and Lonmin Plc (incorporated in England and Wales).Previously chairman of the Constitutional Assembly and chairman of the specially formed Black Economic Empowerment Commission. Cyril was also a member of parliament, secretary general of the ANC and secretary of the National Union of Mineworkers. Cyril is currently on the national executive committee of the ANC and has received several honorary doctorates.

Nazir Patel

 Mr. Pieter Verkade has been appointed as the Group Chief Commercial Officer of MTN Group Ltd., effective February 2013. He is Currently the CEO of MTN Cyprus. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the innovation, products and services strategy, as well as marketing across the Group.
