Name Description

Jerry Grafstein

The Honourable Senator Jerry S. Grafstein, Q.C., is Independent Chairman of the Board of Multivision Communications Corp. He is a Retired Senator, The Senate of Canada. He holds degrees from the University of Western Ontario and the University of Toronto and has taught the Bar Admission Course at Osgoode Hall. He has wide-ranging legal and business experience in all aspects of media. Mr. Grafstein was a co-founder of a range of media companies, focusing on broadcasting, cable, communications, and publication enterprises in Canada, The US, the UK and South America. He has served as an advisor to several key government ministries, including Transportation, External Affairs, Consumer and Corporate Affairs and Justice. Mr. Grafstein was appointed to the Senate of Canada in 1984 by the then Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau. He has served on all Senate Committees, including Foreign Affairs and the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committees. Mr. Grafstein served as Chairman of the Senate Banking, and trade and Commerce Committees. While in the Senate, he has a long serving Co-Chair of the Senate Canada-United States Inter-Parliamentary Group, and a long Assembly (OSCE PA). Mr. Grafstein retired from the Senate on January 1, 2010. He continues his law practice in corporate finance and communication law as counsel to Minden Gross LLP in Toronto and remains active in local affairs in Toronto.

Altaf Nazerali

Mr. Altaf S. Nazerali is President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Multivision Communications Corp. In the 1970’s and early 1980’s, Mr. Nazerali was involved in large-scale communication network, engineering and construction projects in North Africa and the Middle East. In the mid 1980’s, he was based in Switzerland and Luxembourg where he specialized in commodity-based financing of projects using barter and counter trade. In 1988, Mr. Nazerali moved to Canada where he was a principal of a commodity futures trading company which, between1988 and 1991, operated a fund which rated as one of the best performing mutual funds in Canada. In 1995 he founded Canbras Communications Corp., which was an early entrant into the Brazilian subscription television Industry following deregulation. Control of Canbras Communications Corp. was subsequently acquired by Bell Canada International. Mr. Nazerali is a principle of Valor Invest Ltd., a merchant banking firm since 1991, which has financed numerous companies in North and South America, Japan and Europe focused on natural resources, software, telecommunications, and emerging technologies. He holds a BA and MBA from Columbia University in New York. Mr. Nazerali is a founder of Multivision Communications, and has served as its President & CEO since 1996.

Mr. Mirza Rahimani is Chief Financial Officer of the company. Since March 9, 2016. He has several years of experience working with public and early-stage companies in various capacities and roles with international experience, including assignments in Africa and Asia. Mr. Rahimani earned a bachelor of commerce from the University of British Columbia and is a chartered accountant.

Mr. Moe Dilon has been appointed as Director of Multivision Communications Corp., with effect from 11 March 2015. Mr. Dilon began his career as a commodities trader for a well-known Wall Street firm in the 70's managing their Asian operations out of Singapore. In 1984, he returned to Asia to start an edible oil trading company based out of Hong Kong that after 18 months posted sales of US$100mil/yr. In 1988, Mr. Dilon began making strategic investments in emerging markets focusing on Sri Lanka, India and Bangladesh. Mr. Dilon moved to Canada in 1989 and made a series of investments in commodities and resources, bringing co-investors from Asia.

Harold Shipes

Mr. Harold Roy Shipes serves as Independent Director of Multivision Communications Corp., since February 23, 2012. Since February 27, 2012 is a senior mining executive, mining and metallurgical engineer. Harold Roy Shipes has been Chief Executive Officer and President of Asia Now Resources Corp. since April 2012. Mr. Shipes served as the President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Atlas Corporation (formerly Atlas Minerals Inc.) since June 2, 2004 and also as its Chairman and Corporate Secretary since March 11, 2002. Mr. Shipes served as Chairman of the board, Chief Executive Officer and President of Atlas Precious Metals Inc. He co-founded International Silver, Inc. and served as its Chairman of the Board since September 1992 and as its Chief Executive Officer and President since April 13, 1999. In 1977, he completed postgraduate studies in Mining and Metallurgical Engineering at the University of Arizona.
