From August 2002 until March 2005, he was president and chief executive officer and a director of Fleetwood Enterprises, a producer of recreational vehicles and manufactured housing. From 1999 until he joined Fleetwood, he was a corporate vice president of PACCAR, Inc., a manufacturer of heavy duty trucks, and before that was general manager of PACCAR’s subsidiary, Kenworth Truck Company. Previously, he was PACCAR’s vice president of purchasing, general manager of its parts distribution business, and held several management positions with Peterbilt Motors, another PACCAR truck division. Earlier in his career, he held senior level sales and manufacturing positions with Rockwell International and Eaton Corp. |
