Mr. Mark Rossi has been appointed as a Independent Chairman of the Board of Maxwell Technologies Inc effective May 11, 2011. Mr. Rossi is a senior managing director of Cornerstone Equity Investors, LLC, one of the and most experienced private equity firms in the United States. Prior to the formation of Cornerstone Equity Investors in 1996, Mr. Rossi was president of Prudential Equity Investors, Inc. Mr. Rossi’s industry focus is on technology companies.
