Name Description

William Voss

Mr. William R. Voss is an Independent Chairman of the Board of Nash Finch Co. Mr. Voss has served as Managing Director of and investor in Lake Pacific Partners, LLC, a private equity investment firm specializing in consumer products and services, for more than ten years. He previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Natural Nutrition Group, Inc., a food processor; as Chief Executive Officer of McCain Foods, Inc.; and as President and a Director of Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation. He also served as a Principal with Booz, Allen & Hamilton management consultants. He has served as a director of several other public and private companies.

Alec Covington

Mr. Alec C. Covington is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Nash Finch Co., since May 2006. Mr. Covington served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Tree of Life, Inc., a marketer and distributor of natural and specialty foods, from February 2004 to May 2006, and for the same period as a member of the Executive Board of Tree of Life’s parent corporation, Royal Wessanen nv, a multi-national food corporation based in the Netherlands. From April 2001 to February 2004, he was Chief Executive Officer of AmeriCold Logistics, LLC, a provider of supply chain solutions in the consumer packaged goods industry. Prior to that time, Mr. Covington served as President of Richfood Inc., a regional food distributor, and Executive Vice President of SuperValu Inc.

Robert Dimond

Mr. Robert B. Dimond is Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President, Treasurer, of Nash Finch Co., since January 2007. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Wild Oats Markets, Inc., a national natural and organic foods retailer, from April 2005 to December 2006. From January 2005 through March 2005, Mr. Dimond served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Penn Traffic Company, a food retailer in the eastern United States, in connection with its emergence from bankruptcy proceedings. Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer from May 2002 to November 2004 and as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President from September 2000 to May 2002. Calvin Sihilling

Mr. Calvin S. Sihilling is an Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer of Nash Finch Co., since August 2006. Mr. Sihilling previously served as Chief Information Officer for AmeriCold Logistics, LLC from August 2001 to January 2006, where he was responsible for the oversight of Information Technology, Transportation, Project Support, and the National Service Center. Before that, Mr. Sihilling was CIO of the Eastern Region of Richfood Holdings, Inc./SuperValu Inc. from August 1998 to August 2001. Prior to that, Mr. Sihilling held various leadership positions at such companies as Alex Lee, Inc., PepsiCo Food Systems, Dr. Pepper Company and Electronic Data Systems. Kathleen Mahoney

Ms. Kathleen M. Mahoney is an Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary of Nash Finch Co. Prior to that Ms. Mahoney served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary since July 2006. Ms. Mahoney joined Nash Finch as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel in November 2004. Prior to working at Nash Finch, she was the Managing Partner of the St. Paul office of Larson King, LLP from July 2002 to November 2004. Previously, she spent 13 years with the law firm of Oppenheimer, Wolff & Donnelly, LLP, where she served in a number of capacities including Managing Partner of their St. Paul office, Chair of the Labor and Employment Practice Group and Chair of the EEO Committee. Ms. Mahoney served as Special Assistant Attorney General in the Minnesota Attorney General’s office for six years. Ms. Mahoney earned her JD degree from Syracuse University College of Law and a BA from Keene State College.

Edward Brunot

Mr. Edward L. Brunot is an Executive Vice President of Nash Finch Co., and President and Chief Operating Officer of MDV of Nash Finch Co. Prior to that, Mr. Brunot served as Senior Vice President and President and Chief Operating Officer of MDV since February 2009. Mr. Brunot joined Nash Finch in July 2006 as Senior Vice President, Military. Mr. Brunot previously served as Senior Vice President, Operations for AmeriCold Logistics, LLC from December 2002 to May 2006, where he was responsible for 29 distribution facilities in the Western Region. Before that, Mr. Brunot was Vice President of Operations for CS Integrated from 1999 to 2002. Mr. Brunot served as a Captain in the United States Army and holds a BS degree from the United States Military Academy, West Point and an MS degree from the University of Scranton.

Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President of Merchandising, Logistics and Marketing at Seven Eleven, Inc., a national convenience-store retailer, from 2007 to January 2010, as well as in other capacities related to merchandising and wholesale operations with Seven Eleven, Inc. from 2001 to 2007. Prior to that, Mr. Elliott held various leadership positions at The Webvan Group and Fleming Companies, Inc. Mr. Elliott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Operational Management from Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo. and a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Michael Rotelle

Mr. Michael W. Rotelle is Senior Vice President - Human Resources of Nash Finch Co. Mr. Rotelle previously served as Executive Vice President, Human Resources for Acosta Sales and Marketing Company, a sales and marketing company serving the foodservice and grocery industries, from November 2007 to October 2008, where he was responsible for global Human Resource operations. Before that Mr. Rotelle served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Tree of Life, Inc. from August 2004 to November 2007. Prior to that Mr. Rotelle was Vice President, Human Resources of the Eastern Region of Richfood Holdings, Inc./ Supervalu Inc. from August 1994 to August 2004. Before that Mr. Rotelle held operational and Human Resource positions with Rotelle, Inc. Mr. Rotelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University.

Christopher Bodine

Mr. Christopher W. Bodine is an Independent Director of Nash Finch Co. Mr. Bodine retired from CVS Caremark in January 2009 after 24 years with CVS. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Bodine served as President, Healthcare Services of CVS Caremark Corporation, where he was responsible for strategy, business development, trade relations, sales and management, pharmacy merchandising, marketing, information technology and Minute Clinic. Prior to the merger of CVS Corporation and Caremark Rx, Inc. in March 2007, Mr. Bodine served for several years as Executive Vice President — Merchandising and Marketing of CVS Corporation. Mr. Bodine has served as a Director of Watson Pharmaceutical since June 2009 and has been active in the pharmaceutical industry serving on a number of boards and committees, including the Healthcare Leadership Council, RI Quality Institute, National Retail Federation, National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS), and the NACDS Pharmacy Affairs and Leadership Committees.

Mickey Foret

Mr. Mickey P. Foret is an Independent Director of Nash Finch Co., since 2005. Mr. Foret served until 2002 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Northwest Airlines, Inc., an airline company, and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Northwest Airlines Cargo, Inc., a transportation and logistics company. Douglas Hacker

Mr. Douglas A. Hacker is an Independent Director of Nash Finch Co. Mr. Hacker is an independent business executive and formerly served as Executive Vice President, Strategy for UAL Corporation, an airline holding company, from December 2002 to May 2006. Prior to this position, he served with UAL Corporation as President, UAL Loyalty Services from September 2001 to December 2002, and as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from July 1999 to September 2001. Mr. Hacker serves as a trustee of a series of open-end investment companies that are part of the Columbia family of mutual funds and as a director of Aircastle Limited, a commercial aircraft leasing company and SeaCube Container Leasing, Limited, a container leasing company. Hawthorne Proctor

Major General (Ret.) Hawthorne L. Proctor is an Independent Director of Nash Finch Co. Major General (Ret.) Proctor serves as Managing Partner of Proctor & Boone LLC Consulting, and Senior Logistics Consultant in the Department of Defense Business Group of Intelligent Decisions, Inc., where he has worked since 2006. Major General (Ret.) Proctor served for nearly 35 years in the United States Army, where he performed with distinction in numerous senior logistics management roles including Commander, Defense Personnel Support Center and later Commander, Defense Supply Center, Philadelphia, 46th Quartermaster General of the United States Army, and J3, or Chief Operating Officer (COO) Defense Logistics Agency. After retiring from the United States Army, Major General (Ret.) Proctor served from 2004 to 2006 as COO for Innovative Logistics Techniques, Inc. (INNOLOG), an integrator of logistics systems for homeland security, defense and state and local government agencies. In November 2006, he became principal owner and COO of Proctor, Petersen & Marcum, Inc., a small service disabled veteran owned business and in 2009 he became President and Principal owner of ProMar Inc. also a small service disabled veteran owned business.
