Monteiro de Castro, Antonio Antonio Monteiro De Castro is Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of New Britain Palm Oil Limited. he was the Chief Operating Officer of British American Tobacco ('BAT') prior to his retirement in December 2007, a constituent of the FTSE 100 index. In addition, Antonio is a director of Reynolds American Inc, a company listed on the New York Stock Exchange, Non-Executive Chairman of Clean Energy Brazil PLC an AIM listed company which invests in integrated sugar and ethanol production units in Brazil, and a director of Merrill Lynch Latin American Investment Trust PLC. Antonio has a MBA from Babson College in the USA.
Thompson, Nicholas Nicholas Mark Thompson is Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director of New Britain Palm Oil Ltd. He joined the Company in 1984 after completing a Masters Degree in tropical agriculture development. His progress through the Company included successfully managing the project development at Kapiura and then the research station at Dami. From October 1991, he was both Senior Manager of the Mosa group of plantations and Deputy Director Plantations.
Dann, David David Lewis Morley Dann is Finance Director, Executive Director of New Britain Palm Oil Ltd. He initially started working for the Company in 1987 as an accountant but left in 1990 to pursue other interests. He re-joined the Company in 1995 as Financial Controller, was made Chief Financial Officer in 2001 and has been appointed Finance Director with effect from Admission. He has over 30 years' experience in the plantation and agribusiness industries. Michael served as the financial controller and finance director of Harrisons Malaysian Plantations Bhd before being appointed managing director of P.T. Tolan, an Indonesian agribusiness. In 1996, Michael was appointed managing director of P.T. Tolan's parent company, S.A. Sipef N.V., the Euronext quoted Belgian agro-industrial company with interests in Indonesia, PNG Vietnam, Benelux and Brazil.
