Mr. Gregory (Greg) John Robinson has been Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director and Executive Director of Newcrest Mining Ltd since July 1, 2011. He was appointed Chief Financial Officer on November 3, 2006. Mr. Gerard Bond has been Chief Financial Officer, Finance Director and Executive Director of Newcrest Mining Ltd since February 8, 2012. He commenced as Finance Director and Chief Financial Officer in January 2012 and was appointed to the Board as an Executive Director on February 8, 2012. He has 23 years’ experience in the global financial and resources industry with BHP Billiton, Coopers & Lybrand and Price Waterhouse. Mr. Stephen Creese is Executive General Manager - Corporate Affairs of Newcrest Mining Ltd. He was appointed General Counsel in November 2009 and Company Secretary on December 10, 2009. He was subsequently appointed Executive General Manager, Corporate Affairs in September 2010. He is responsible for the Government, media, legal and company secretarial functions. Prior to joining Newcrest, he was with the Rio Tinto group for 29 years, where he worked in various legal and commercial roles, including that of General Counsel of Rio Tinto Limited between 1995 and 2008 and, subsequently, as Managing Director – Rio Tinto Australia. Mr. Creese is also a part-time member of the Australian Takeovers Panel and the independent chair of the National Employment Services Association and is a member of the Australian Government’s Critical Skills Investment Fund Advisory Board. Mr. Ronald (Ron) J. Douglas has been Executive General Manager - Projects of Newcrest Mining Ltd since May 8, 2007. He is responsible for the project development group. He has over twenty five years experience in management of operational performance and capital development projects within the mining sector in Australia, the United Kingdom, USA, South East Asia and Africa. Prior to joining Newcrest Ron's most recent positions were as Chief Executive Officer with Australian Solomons Gold Limited, and before that as a General Manager with the Rio Tinto Group, including as Managing Director of Anglesey Aluminium Metal Ltd in the UK.
