Biographies

Name Description

Stephen Gutteridge

 Mr. Stephen Gutteridge is Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Nighthawk Energy PLC since September 8, 2011. He has spent over 30 years in the oil and gas industry, working with companies including Shell, Amerada Hess, and the International Petroleum Exchange (now ICE Futures), and chairing AIM companies such as Star Energy Group, and most recently President Petroleum. He has held numerous directorships, including Chairman, Chief Executive, Executive and Nonexecutive roles, in both listed and private companies and has experience of the UK regulatory and governance environment. He is currently a Nonexecutive Director of Fulcrum Utility Services plc. Stephen is Chairman of the Remuneration and Nomination Committees.

Richard Swindells

 Mr. Richard Swindells is Chief Financial Officer, Executive Director, Company Secretary of Nighthawk Energy PLC. He joined Nighthawk in June 2011 having previously spent 15 years as an investment banker, the past five of which he has spent advising and raising equity for resources companies. Richard joined from Ambrian Partners where he was Head of Oil & Gas Corporate Finance having previously been CEO of Nabarro Wells & Co and director of Corporate Finance at Panmure Gordon. Richard has an economics degree from Birmingham University and holds the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment diploma.

Timothy Heeley

 Mr. Timothy Mark Heeley is Chairman - US Operations of Nighthawk Energy PLC. Tim joined Nighthawk in December 2009 bringing over four years of equity and debt experience in the City including Senior Manager of Standard Bank’s Oil and Gas team and VP Oil and Gas at Panmure Gordon. Prior to this, Tim enjoyed an eight year career in the E&P sector as a project development engineer working with such companies as Shell, BP, Exxon and BG on numerous international hydrocarbon projects. Tim is a Chartered Engineer, a member of the Energy Institute and the Society of Petroleum Engineers, a Fellow of the Geological Society and Associate Member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists.

Michael Thomsen

 Mr. Michael Bernard Thomsen is President - US Operations of Nighthawk Energy PLC. Mike has over 30 years of experience in the natural resources industry and has worked in over 40 countries on acquisitions, project development and exploration. He has directed and managed a number of energy and minerals companies and was the former Chairman of Oil Quest Resources plc. Mike was previously Chief Geologist with FreeportMcMoRan Inc, a US energy and minerals producer, where he directed programs in the Permian Basin of west Texas and the Gulf of Mexico region. US Operations staff are based in Denver, Colorado, USA and are employed by Nighthawk Production LLC, a group company.

Charles Wilson

 Mr. Charles H. Wilson is Chief Operating Officer - US Operations of Nighthawk Energy PLC since August 1, 2011. Chuck joined Nighthawk in August 2011 from Gasco Energy Inc. where he was VP of Engineering and Operations. Previously he was the U.S. Onshore Drilling Manager for Denverbased Forest Oil Company, a NYSElisted exploration and production company. Chuck has 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry ranging from drilling, completion and production operations to surface equipment installations, including horizontal drilling in the Bakken. He holds a BS degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Wyoming and in addition has held several positions within the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the American Association of Drilling Engineers.

Stuart Eaton

 Mr. Stuart Eaton is Non-Executive Director of Nighthawk Energy PLC since February 18, 2010. He was Head of UK Equity Alpha at Insight Investment Management Limited. Founded by HBOS in 2002, Insight had assets under management of £119 billion in 2009. Stuart joined Insight in May 2005 and was responsible for the management of UK equity long only portfolios. Stuart is Chairman of the Audit Committee.
